1Voici les sacrificateurs et les Lévites qui montèrent avec Zorobabel, fils de Salathiel, et avec Jéshua: Séraja, Jérémie, Esdras,
2Amaria, Malluc, Hattush,
3Shécania, Réhum, Mérémoth,
4Iddo, Guinnéthoï, Abija,
5Mijamin, Maadia, Bilga,
6Shémaja, Jojarib, Jédaja,
7Sallu, Amok, Hilkija, Jédaja. C'étaient là les principaux des sacrificateurs et de leurs frères, du temps de Jéshua.
8Les Lévites étaient: Jéshua, Binnuï, Kadmiel, Shérébia, Juda et Matthania, qui présidait au chant des louanges, lui et ses frères.
9Bakbukia et Unni, leurs frères, étaient avec eux pour la surveillance.
10Et Jéshua engendra Jojakim; Jojakim engendra Éliashib; Éliashib engendra Jojada;
11Jojada engendra Jonathan, et Jonathan engendra Jaddua.
12Au temps de Jojakim, étaient sacrificateurs, chefs des pères: pour Séraja, Méraja; pour Jérémie, Hanania;
13Pour Esdras, Méshullam; pour Amaria, Jochanan;
14Pour Méluki, Jonathan; pour Shébania, Joseph;
15Pour Harim, Adna; pour Mérajoth, Helkaï;
16Pour Iddo, Zacharie; pour Guinnéthon, Méshullam;
17Pour Abija, Zicri; pour Minjamin, et Moadia, Piltaï;
18Pour Bilga, Shammua; pour Shémaja, Jonathan;
19Pour Jojarib, Matthénaï; pour Jédaja, Uzzi;
20Pour Sallaï, Kallaï; pour Amok, Éber;
21Pour Hilkija, Hashabia; pour Jédaja, Nathanaël.
22Quant aux Lévites, les chefs des pères furent inscrits au temps d'Éliashib, de Jojada, de Jochanan et de Jaddua; quant aux sacrificateurs, ce fut sous le règne de Darius, le Perse.
23Les enfants de Lévi, chefs des pères, furent inscrits dans le livre des Chroniques, jusqu'au temps de Jochanan, fils d'Éliashib.
24Les chefs des Lévites étaient: Hashabia, Shérébia et Jéshua, fils de Kadmiel; et leurs frères étaient avec eux, pour louer et célébrer l'Éternel, selon le commandement de David, homme de Dieu, un chœur répondant à l'autre.
25Matthania, Bakbukia, Obadia, Méshullam, Talmon et Akkub, gardiens, portiers, faisaient la garde aux seuils des portes.
26Ceux-là vivaient au temps de Jojakim, fils de Jéshua, fils de Jotsadak, et au temps de Néhémie, le gouverneur, et d'Esdras, sacrificateur et scribe.
27Or, à la dédicace de la muraille de Jérusalem, on envoya quérir les Lévites de toutes leurs demeures, pour les faire venir à Jérusalem, afin de célébrer la dédicace avec joie, avec des louanges et des cantiques, avec des cymbales, des lyres et des harpes.
28Les fils des chantres se rassemblèrent du district qui entoure Jérusalem, des villages des Nétophathites,
29De Beth-Guilgal et des campagnes de Guéba et d'Azmaveth; car les chantres s'étaient bâti des villages autour de Jérusalem.
30Et les sacrificateurs et les Lévites se purifièrent. Ils purifièrent aussi le peuple, les portes et la muraille.
31Puis je fis monter les chefs de Juda sur la muraille, et j'établis deux grands chœurs et des cortèges. L'un s'avança à droite, sur la muraille, vers la porte du fumier.
32Après eux marchait Hoshaja, avec la moitié des chefs de Juda;
33Azaria, Esdras, Méshullam,
34Juda, Benjamin, Shémaja et Jérémie;
35Et des fils des sacrificateurs, avec des trompettes: Zacharie, fils de Jonathan, fils de Shémaja, fils de Matthania, fils de Micaja, fils de Zaccur, fils d'Asaph;
36Et ses frères, Shémaja, Azaréel, Milalaï, Guilalaï, Maaï, Nathanaël, Juda, Hanani, avec les instruments de musique de David, homme de Dieu; Esdras, le scribe, était à leur tête.
37Et à la porte de la fontaine, vis-à-vis d'eux, ils montèrent les degrés de la cité de David, par la montée de la muraille, au-dessus de la maison de David, jusqu'à la porte des eaux, vers l'orient.
38Le second chœur allait à l'opposite, et moi après lui, avec l'autre moitié du peuple, sur la muraille, au-dessus de la tour des fours, jusqu'à la muraille large;
39Et au-dessus de la porte d'Éphraïm, de la vieille porte, de la porte des poissons, de la tour de Hananéel, et de la tour de Shéa, jusqu'à la porte des brebis. On s'arrêta à la porte de la prison.
40Puis les deux chœurs s'arrêtèrent dans la maison de Dieu, ainsi que moi, et la moitié des magistrats avec moi;
41Et les sacrificateurs Éliakim, Maaséja, Minjamin, Micaja, Eljoénaï, Zacharie, Hanania, avec des trompettes;
42Et Maaséja, Shémaja, Éléazar, Uzzi, Jochanan, Malkija, Élam et Ézer. Et les chantres se firent entendre; Jizrachia était leur chef.
43On offrit aussi, en ce jour-là, de grands sacrifices, et on se réjouit, parce que Dieu leur avait donné une grande joie; même les femmes et les enfants se réjouirent; et la joie de Jérusalem fut entendue au loin.
44Et on établit, en ce jour-là, des hommes sur les chambres des trésors, des offrandes, des prémices et des dîmes, pour y rassembler, du territoire des villes, les portions assignées par la loi aux sacrificateurs et aux Lévites; car Juda fut dans la joie à cause des sacrificateurs et des Lévites qui se trouvaient là,
45Et s'acquittaient de ce qui concernait le service de leur Dieu et le service des purifications, ainsi que les chantres et les portiers, selon le commandement de David et de Salomon, son fils.
46Car autrefois, du temps de David et d'Asaph, il y avait des chefs de chantres, et des chants de louange et d'actions de grâces à Dieu.
47Et tous les Israélites, au temps de Zorobabel et au temps de Néhémie, donnaient les portions des chantres et des portiers, jour par jour; on donnait aux Lévites les choses consacrées, et les Lévites donnaient aux enfants d'Aaron les choses consacrées.

12Y en los días de Joiacim los sacerdotes cabezas de familias fueron: de Seraías, Meraías; de Jeremías, Hananías;
13De Esdras, Mesullam; de Amarías, Johanán;
14De Melichâ, Jonathán; de Sebanías, Joseph;
15De Harim, Adna; de Meraioth, Helcai;
16De Iddo, Zacarías; de Ginnethón, Mesullam;

22Los Levitas en días de Eliasib, de Joiada, y de Johanán y Jaddua, fueron escritos por cabezas de familias; también los sacerdotes, hasta el reinado de Darío el Persa.
23Los hijos de Leví, cabezas de familias, fueron escritos en el libro de las crónicas hasta los días de Johanán, hijo de Eliasib.
24Los cabezas de los Levitas: Hasabías, Serebías, y Jesuá hijo de Cadmiel, y sus hermanos delante de ellos, para alabar y para rendir gracias, conforme al estatuto de David varón de Dios, guardando su turno.
25Mathanías, y Bacbucías, Obadías, Mesullam, Talmón, Accub, guardas, eran porteros para la guardia á las entradas de las puertas.
26Estos fueron en los días de Joiacim, hijo de Jesuá, hijo de Josadac, y en los días del gobernador Nehemías, y del sacerdote Esdras, escriba.
27Y á la dedicación del muro de Jerusalem buscaron á los Levitas de todos sus lugares, para traerlos á Jerusalem, para hacer la dedicación y la fiesta con alabanzas y con cánticos, con címbalos, salterios y cítaras.
28Y fueron reunidos los hijos de los cantores, así de la campiña alrededor de Jerusalem como de las aldeas de Netophati;
29Y de la casa de Gilgal, y de los campos de Geba, y de Azmaveth; porque los cantores se habían edificado aldeas alrededor de Jerusalem.
30Y se purificaron los sacerdotes y los Levitas; y purificaron al pueblo, y las puertas, y el muro.
31Hice luego subir á los príncipes de Judá sobre el muro, y puse dos coros grandes que fueron en procesión: el uno á la mano derecha sobre el muro hacia la puerta del Muladar.
32E iba tras de ellos Osaías, y la mitad de los príncipes de Judá,
33Y Azarías, Esdras y Mesullam,
34Judá y Benjamín, y Semaías, y Jeremías;
35Y de los hijos de los sacerdotes iban con trompetas, Zacarías hijo de Jonathán, hijo de Semaías, hijo de Mathanías, hijo de Michâías, hijo de Zachûr, hijo de Asaph;
36Y sus hermanos Semaías, y Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nathanael, Judá y Hanani, con los instrumentos músicos de David varón de Dios; y Esdras escriba, delante de ellos.
37Y á la puerta de la Fuente, en derecho delante de ellos, subieron por las gradas de la ciudad de David, por la subida del muro, desde la casa de David hasta la puerta de las Aguas al oriente.
38Y el segundo coro iba del lado opuesto, y yo en pos de él, con la mitad del pueblo sobre el muro, desde la torre de los Hornos hasta el muro ancho;
39Y desde la puerta de Ephraim hasta la puerta vieja, y á la puerta del Pescado, y la torre de Hananeel, y la torre de Hamath, hasta la puerta de las Ovejas: y pararon en la puerta de la Cárcel.
40Pararon luego los dos coros en la casa de Dios; y yo, y la mitad de los magistrados conmigo;
41Y los sacerdotes, Eliacim, Maaseías, Miniamin, Michâías, Elioenai, Zacarías, y Hananías, con trompetas;
42Y Maaseías, y Semeías, y Eleazar, y Uzzi, y Johanán, y Malchías, y Elam, y Ezer. Y los cantores cantaban alto, é Israhía era el prefecto.
43Y sacrificaron aquel día grandes víctimas, é hicieron alegrías; porque Dios los había recreado con grande contentamiento: alegráronse también las mujeres y muchachos; y el alborozo de Jerusalem fué oído de lejos.
44Y en aquel día fueron puestos varones sobre las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de los diezmos, para juntar en ellas, de los campos de las ciudades, las porciones legales para los sacerdotes y Levitas: porque era grande el gozo de Judá con respecto á los sacerdotes y Levitas que asistían.
45Y habían guardado la observancia de su Dios, y la observancia de la expiación, como también los cantores y los porteros, conforme al estatuto de David y de Salomón su hijo.
46Porque desde el tiempo de David y de Asaph, ya de antiguo, había príncipes de cantores, y cántico y alabanza, y acción de gracias á Dios.
47Y todo Israel en días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías, daba raciones á los cantores y á los porteros, cada cosa en su día: consagraban asimismo sus porciones á los Levitas, y los Levitas consagraban parte á los hijos de Aarón.

5Miamin, Maadiah, Bilgah,

7Sallu, Amok, Hilkiah, Jedaiah. These were the chief of the priests and of their brethren in the days of Jeshua.

24And the chief of the Levites: Hashabiah, Sherebiah, and Jeshua the son of Kadmiel, with their brethren over against them, to praise and to give thanks, according to the commandment of David the man of God, ward over against ward.
25Mattaniah, and Bakbukiah, Obadiah, Meshullam, Talmon, Akkub, were porters keeping the ward at the thresholds of the gates.
26These were in the days of Joiakim the son of Jeshua, the son of Jozadak, and in the days of Nehemiah the governor, and of Ezra the priest, the scribe.
27And at the dedication of the wall of Jerusalem they sought the Levites out of all their places, to bring them to Jerusalem, to keep the dedication with gladness, both with thanksgivings, and with singing, with cymbals, psalteries, and with harps.
28And the sons of the singers gathered themselves together, both out of the plain country round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of Netophathi;
29Also from the house of Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth: for the singers had builded them villages round about Jerusalem.
30And the priests and the Levites purified themselves, and purified the people, and the gates, and the wall.
31Then I brought up the princes of Judah upon the wall, and appointed two great companies of them that gave thanks, whereof one went on the right hand upon the wall toward the dung gate:
32And after them went Hoshaiah, and half of the princes of Judah,
33And Azariah, Ezra, and Meshullam,
34Judah, and Benjamin, and Shemaiah, and Jeremiah,
35And certain of the priests’ sons with trumpets; namely, Zechariah the son of Jonathan, the son of Shemaiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Michaiah, the son of Zaccur, the son of Asaph:
36And his brethren, Shemaiah, and Azarael, Milalai, Gilalai, Maai, Nethaneel, and Judah, Hanani, with the musical instruments of David the man of God, and Ezra the scribe before them.
37And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.
38And the other company of them that gave thanks went over against them, and I after them, and the half of the people upon the wall, from beyond the tower of the furnaces even unto the broad wall;
39And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.
40So stood the two companies of them that gave thanks in the house of God, and I, and the half of the rulers with me:
41And the priests; Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Michaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42And Maaseiah, and Shemaiah, and Eleazar, and Uzzi, and Jehohanan, and Malchijah, and Elam, and Ezer. And the singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.
44And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.
45And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.
46For in the days of David and Asaph of old there were chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving unto God.
47And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.

38The other company of those who gave thanks went to meet them, and I after them, with the half of the people on the wall above the tower of the furnaces, even to the wide wall,
39and above the gate of Ephraim, and by the old gate, and by the fish gate, the tower of Hananel, and the tower of Hammeah, even to the sheep gate; and they stood still in the gate of the guard.
40So the two companies of those who gave thanks in God’s house stood, and I and the half of the rulers with me;
41and the priests, Eliakim, Maaseiah, Miniamin, Micaiah, Elioenai, Zechariah, and Hananiah, with trumpets;
42and Maaseiah, Shemaiah, Eleazar, Uzzi, Jehohanan, Malchijah, Elam, and Ezer. The singers sang loud, with Jezrahiah their overseer.
43They offered great sacrifices that day, and rejoiced, for God had made them rejoice with great joy; and the women and the children also rejoiced, so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even far away.
44On that day, men were appointed over the rooms for the treasures, for the wave offerings, for the first fruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them according to the fields of the cities the portions appointed by the law for the priests and Levites; for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites who served.
45They performed the duty of their God and the duty of the purification, and so did the singers and the gatekeepers, according to the commandment of David and of Solomon his son.
46For in the days of David and Asaph of old there was a chief of the singers, and songs of praise and thanksgiving to God.
47All Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the portions of the singers and the gatekeepers, as every day required; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.
