1Os líderes israelitas passaram a morar em Jerusalém, a cidade santa, nesse tempo; e por meio de um sorteio, uma décima parte do povo das outras cidades e vilas de Judá e de Benjamim também viveria ali. Os outros israelitas deveriam ficar em suas próprias cidades.
2Alguns que se mudaram para Jerusalém nessa ocasião foram voluntários, e foram abençoados pelo povo.
3O povo de Israel, os sacerdotes, os levitas, os servidores do templo e os descendentes dos oficiais de Salomão continuaram a viver em suas próprias casas nas várias cidades de Judá. Estes são os líderes da província que passaram a morar em Jerusalém.
4Habitaram em Jerusalém tanto pessoas de Judá quanto de Benjamim: Da tribo de Judá: Ataías, filho de Uzias; Uzias era filho de Zacarias; Zacarias era filho de Amarias; Amarias era filho de Sefatias; Sefatias era filho de Maalaleel, um descendente de Perez;
5Maaseias era filho de Baruque; Baruque era filho de Col-Hozé; Col-Hozé era filho de Hazaías; Hazaías era filho de Adaías; Adaías era filho de Joiaribe; Joiaribe era filho de Zacarias; Zacarias era descendente de Sela, filho de Judá.
6Estes foram os 468 valentes descendentes de Perez que moraram em Jerusalém.
7Da tribo de Benjamim: Salu, filho de Mesulão; Mesulão era filho de Joede; Joede era filho de Pedaías; Pedaías era filho de Colaías; Colaías era filho de Maaseias; Maaseias era filho de Itiel; Itiel era filho de Jesaías.
8Mais os 928 descendentes de Gabai e Salai.
9O chefe deles era Joel, filho de Zicri, que era auxiliado por Judá, filho de Hassenua.
10Dentre os sacerdotes: Jedaías, filho de Joiaribe; Jaquim;
11Seraías, filho de Hilquias; Hilquias era filho de Mesulão; Mesulão era filho de Zadoque; Zadoque era filho de Meraiote; Meraiote era filho de Aitube, o supervisor da casa de Deus.
12Ao todo, havia 822 sacerdotes trabalhando no templo sob a direção desses homens. Adaías, filho de Jeroão; Jeroão era filho de Pelalias; Pelalias era filho de Anzi; Anzi era filho de Zacarias; Zacarias era filho de Pasur; Pasur era filho de Malquias,
13e seus irmãos chefes de grupos de famílias, 242 homens. Amassai, filho de Azareel; Azareel era filho de Azai; Azai era filho de Mesilemote; Mesilemote era filho de Imer,
14e os seus irmãos, homens valentes, 128. O oficial superior deles era Zabdiel, filho de Gedolim.
15Dentre os levitas: Semaías, filho de Hassube; Hassube era filho de Azricão; Azricão era filho de Hasabias; Hasabias era filho de Buni;
16Sabetai e Jozabade, que estavam encarregados do trabalho fora do templo de Deus;
17Matanias, filho de Mica; Mica era filho de Zabdi; Zabdi era filho de Asafe, o dirigente que começou o culto de ação de graças e as orações; Baquebuquias e Abda, filho de Samua; Samua era filho de Galal, Galal era filho de Jedutum, que eram ajudantes dele.
18Ao todo, havia 284 levitas em Jerusalém.

21Contudo, todos os servidores do templo, que eram chefiados por Zia e Gispa, moravam na colina de Ofel.
22O chefe dos levitas em Jerusalém e daqueles que prestavam serviço no templo era Uzi, filho de Bani; Bani era filho de Hasabias; Hasabias era filho de Matanias; Matanias era filho de Mica, um descendente de Asafe, que eram responsáveis pela música da casa de Deus.
23Havia regulamentos do rei dizendo como os grupos de famílias deviam exercer suas atividades diárias.
24Petaías, filho de Mesezabeel, descendente de Zera, filho de Judá, ajudava o rei em todos os assuntos de administração pública.
25Estas eram algumas das vilas onde o povo de Judá morou: em Quiriate-Arba, em Dibom, em Jecabzeel e seus povoados,
26em Jesua, em Moladá, em Bete-Pelete,
27em Hazar-Sual, em Berseba e seus povoados,
28em Ziclague, em Meconá e seus povoados,
29em En-Rimom, em Zorá, em Jarmute,
30em Zanoa, em Adulão e seus povoados, em Láquis e seus arredores, e em Azeca e seus povoados. Assim o povo se espalhou desde Berseba até o vale de Hinom.
31Os descendentes da tribo de Benjamim foram morar em Geba, Micmás, Aia, Betel e seus povoados,
32em Anatote, Nobe, Ananias,
33em Hazor, Ramá, Gitaim,
34em Hadide, Zeboim, Nebalate,
35em Lode, Ono e no vale dos Artífices.
36Alguns dos levitas que moravam em Judá foram morar com a tribo de Benjamim.

1Y HABITARON los príncipes del pueblo en Jerusalem; mas el resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer uno de diez que morase en Jerusalem, ciudad santa, y las nueve partes en las otras ciudades.
2Y bendijo el pueblo á todos los varones que voluntariamente se ofrecieron á morar en Jerusalem.
3Y estos son los principales de la provincia que moraron en Jerusalem; mas en las ciudades de Judá habitaron cada uno en su posesión en sus ciudades, de Israel, de los sacerdotes, y Levitas, y Nethineos, y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.
4En Jerusalem pues habitaron de los hijos de Judá, y de los hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Athaías hijo de Uzzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sephatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Phares;
5Y Maasías hijo de Baruch, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.
6Todos los hijos de Phares que moraron en Jerusalem, fueron cuatrocientos setenta y ocho hombres fuertes.
7Y estos son los hijos de Benjamín: Salú hijo de Mesullam, hijo de Joed, hijo de Pedaías, hijo de Colaías, hijo de Maaseías, hijo de Ithiel, hijo de Jesaía.
8Y tras él, Gabbai, Sallai, novecientos veinte y ocho.

1And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
4And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;
5And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
6All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.

11Seraiah the son of Hilkiah, the son of Meshullam, the son of Zadok, the son of Meraioth, the son of Ahitub, was the ruler of the house of God.
12And their brethren that did the work of the house were eight hundred twenty and two: and Adaiah the son of Jeroham, the son of Pelaliah, the son of Amzi, the son of Zechariah, the son of Pashur, the son of Malchiah,
13And his brethren, chief of the fathers, two hundred forty and two: and Amashai the son of Azareel, the son of Ahasai, the son of Meshillemoth, the son of Immer,
14And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.
15Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.
17And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.
20And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.
22The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.
23For it was the king’s commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
24And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
26And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth-phelet,
27And at Hazar-shual, and at Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
28And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
29And at En-rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
30Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

1The princes of the people lived in Jerusalem. The rest of the people also cast lots to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem, the holy city, and nine parts in the other cities.

19Moreover the gatekeepers, Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, who kept watch at the gates, were one hundred seventy-two.
20The residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites were in all the cities of Judah, everyone in his inheritance.
21But the temple servants lived in Ophel; and Ziha and Gishpa were over the temple servants.
22The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers responsible for the service of God’s house.
23For there was a commandment from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required.
24Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25As for the villages with their fields, some of the children of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba and its towns, in Dibon and its towns, in Jekabzeel and its villages,
26in Jeshua, in Moladah, Beth Pelet,
27in Hazar Shual, in Beersheba and its towns,
28in Ziklag, in Meconah and in its towns,
29in En Rimmon, in Zorah, in Jarmuth,
30Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, and Azekah and its towns. So they encamped from Beersheba to the valley of Hinnom.
31The children of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash and Aija, and at Bethel and its towns,
32at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36Of the Levites, certain divisions in Judah settled in Benjamin’s territory.
