1Auf Grund aller dieser Umstände schließen wir einen festen Vertrag und fertigen ihn schriftlich aus; und auf der untersiegelten Urkunde stehen die Namen unserer Obersten, unserer Leviten und unserer Priester;
2und auf dem untersiegelten Schriftstück stehen die Namen: Nehemia, der Statthalter, der Sohn Hachaljas, und Zedekia,
3Seraja, Asarja, Jeremia,
4Pashur, Amarja, Malkija,
5Hattus, Sechanja, Malluch,
6Harim, Meremoth, Obadja,
7Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch,
8Mesullam, Abija, Mijamin,
9Maasja, Bilgai, Semaja; dies waren die Priester.
10Sodann die Leviten: Jesua, der Sohn Asanjas, Binnui aus der Familie Henadad, Kadmiel;

29Das übrige Volk aber, die Priester, Leviten, Torhüter, Sänger, Tempelhörigen und alle, die sich von der heidnischen Bevölkerung der Landesteile abgesondert haben und sich zum Gesetz Gottes halten, samt ihren Frauen, Söhnen und Töchtern, alle, welche Einsicht (und) Verständnis dafür haben,
30schließen sich hiermit ihren Volksgenossen, den Vornehmen unter ihnen, an und verpflichten sich durch einen Eid unwiderruflich, nach dem Gesetz Gottes, das durch Mose, den Knecht Gottes, gegeben worden ist, zu wandeln und alle Gebote Gottes, unseres HERRN, seine Verordnungen und Satzungen zu beobachten und zu erfüllen.
31Wir wollen also weder unsere Töchter den heidnischen Landesbewohnern zu Frauen geben noch ihre Töchter für unsere Söhne zu Frauen nehmen.
32Wenn ferner die heidnischen Landesbewohner am Sabbattage Waren und Getreide aller Art zum Verkauf herbringen, wollen wir ihnen am Sabbat und an einem (andern) heiligen Tage nichts abkaufen. Wir wollen ferner in jedem siebten Jahre die Felder unbestellt liegen lassen und auf jede Schuldforderung (in dem betreffenden Jahre) verzichten.
33Weiter verpflichten wir uns unwiderruflich dazu, ein Drittel Schekel jährlich als Steuer für den heiligen Dienst im Hause unsers Gottes zu entrichten,
34nämlich für die Schaubrote und für das tägliche Speisopfer, für das tägliche Brandopfer und für die Opfer an den Sabbaten, an den Neumonden und den Festen, für die Heilsopfer und für die Sündopfer, um Sühnung für Israel zu erwirken, überhaupt für den gesamten Dienst im Hause unsers Gottes.
35Ferner haben wir, die Priester, die Leviten und das Volk, durch das Los über die Holzlieferungen entscheiden lassen, damit wir diese familienweise zu bestimmten Zeiten Jahr für Jahr an das Haus unsers Gottes gelangen lassen, zur Feuerung auf dem Altar des HERRN, unsers Gottes, wie im Gesetz vorgeschrieben ist.
36Ebenso verpflichten wir uns, die Erstlinge unserer Felder und die Erstlinge aller Früchte von allen Bäumen Jahr für Jahr zum Hause des HERRN zu bringen,
37auch unsere erstgeborenen Söhne und die Erstlinge unsers Viehes, wie es im Gesetz vorgeschrieben ist, und zwar die Erstlinge unserer Rinder und unsers Kleinviehs in das Haus unsers Gottes für die Priester zu bringen, die den Dienst im Hause unsers Gottes verrichten.
38Ferner wollen wir das Beste von unserm Schrotmehl und von unseren Heilsopfern sowie von allen Baumfrüchten, von Wein und Öl den Priestern in die Zellen des Hauses unsers Gottes liefern und den Zehnten von unseren Feldern an die Leviten; denn die Leviten sind es, die den Zehnten in allen Ortschaften erheben, wo wir Ackerbau treiben.
39Und wenn die Leviten den Zehnten einfordern, soll der (betreffende) Priester, ein Nachkomme Aarons, die Leviten begleiten, und die Leviten sollen dann den Zehnten von ihrem Zehnten zum Hause unsers Gottes in die Zellen des Vorratshauses hinaufbringen.
40Denn in die Zellen sollen sowohl die Israeliten als auch die Leviten die Abgaben vom Getreide, vom Most und vom Öl liefern; denn dort befinden sich auch die heiligen Geräte sowie die diensttuenden Priester, die Torhüter und die Sänger. Und so wollen wir es dem Hause unsers Gottes an nichts fehlen lassen.

29Adhiriéronse á sus hermanos, sus principales, y vinieron en la protestación y en el juramento de que andarían en la ley de Dios, que fué dada por mano de Moisés siervo de Dios, y que guardarían y cumplirían todos los mandamientos de Jehová nuestro Señor, y sus juicios y sus estatutos;
30Y que no daríamos nuestras hijas á los pueblos de la tierra, ni tomaríamos sus hijas para nuestros hijos.
31Asimismo, que si los pueblos de la tierra trajesen á vender mercaderías y comestibles en día de sábado, nada tomaríamos de ellos en sábado, ni en día santificado; y que dejaríamos el año séptimo, con remisión de toda deuda.
32Impusímonos además por ley el cargo de contribuir cada año con la tercera parte de un siclo, para la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios;
33Para el pan de la proposición, y para la ofrenda continua, y para el holocausto continuo, de los sábados, y de las nuevas lunas, y de las festividades, y para las santificaciones y sacrificios por el pecado para expiar á Israel, y para toda la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios.
34Echamos también las suertes, los sacerdotes, los Levitas, y el pueblo, acerca de la ofrenda de la leña, para traerla á la casa de nuestro Dios, según las casas de nuestros padres, en los tiempos determinados cada un año, para quemar sobre el altar de Jehová nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley.
35Y que cada año traeríamos las primicias de nuestra tierra, y las primicias de todo fruto de todo árbol, á la casa de Jehová:
36Asimismo los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestras bestias, como está escrito en la ley; y que traeríamos los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestras ovejas á la casa de nuestro Dios, á los sacerdotes que ministran en la casa de nuestro Dios:
37Que traeríamos también las primicias de nuestras masas, y nuestras ofrendas, y del fruto de todo árbol, del vino y del aceite, á los sacerdotes, á las cámaras de la casa de nuestro Dios, y el diezmo de nuestra tierra á los Levitas; y que los Levitas recibirían las décimas de nuestras labores en todas las ciudades:
38Y que estaría el sacerdote hijo de Aarón con los Levitas, cuando los Levitas recibirían el diezmo: y que los Levitas llevarían el diezmo del diezmo á la casa de nuestro Dios, á las cámaras en la casa del tesoro.
39Porque á las cámaras han de llevar los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Leví la ofrenda del grano, del vino, y del aceite; y allí estarán los vasos del santuario, y los sacerdotes que ministran, y los porteros, y los cantores; y no abandonaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.

28And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
29They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;
30And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:
31And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
32Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;
33For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
34And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law:
35And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:
36Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:
37And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
38And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.

28The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters—everyone who had knowledge and understanding—
29joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;
30and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;
31and if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy from them on the Sabbath, or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year crops and the exaction of every debt.

38The priest, the descendent of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes. The Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.
39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the rooms where the vessels of the sanctuary are, and the priests who minister, with the gatekeepers and the singers. We will not forsake the house of our God.
