28Quant au reste du peuple les Sacrificateurs, les Lévites, les portiers, les chantres, les Néthiniens, et tous ceux qui s’étaient séparés des peuples des pays pour faire la Loi de Dieu, leurs femmes, leurs fils, et leurs filles, tous ceux qui étaient capables de connaissance et d’intelligence,
29Adhérèrent entièrement à leurs frères, les plus considérables d’entre eux, et prêtèrent serment avec exécration et jurèrent de marcher dans la Loi de Dieu, qui avait été donnée par le moyen de Moïse serviteur de Dieu, et de garder et de faire tous les commandements de l’Eternel notre Seigneur, ses jugements et ses ordonnances ;
30Et de ne donner point de nos filles aux peuples du pays, et de ne prendre point leurs filles pour nos fils ;
31Et de ne prendre rien le jour du Sabbat, ou tel autre jour sanctifié, des peuples du pays, qui apportent des marchandises, et toutes sortes de denrées le jour du Sabbat, pour les vendre ; et d’abandonner la septième année, avec tout le droit d’exiger ce qui est dû.
32Nous fîmes aussi des ordonnances, nous chargeant de donner chaque année la troisième partie d’un sicle, pour le service de la maison de notre Dieu ;
33Pour les pains de proposition, pour le gâteau continuel, et pour l’holocauste continuel ; et pour ceux des Sabbats, des nouvelles lunes, et des fêtes solennelles ; pour les choses saintes, et pour les offrandes pour le péché, afin de réconcilier Israël ; enfin, pour tout ce qui se faisait dans la maison de notre Dieu.
34Nous jetâmes aussi le sort touchant le bois des oblations, tant les sacrificateurs et les Lévites, que le peuple ; afin de l’amener dans la maison de notre Dieu, selon les maisons de nos pères, et dans les temps déterminés, d’année en année, pour brûler sur l’autel de notre Dieu, ainsi qu’il est écrit dans la Loi.
35Nous ordonnâmes aussi que nous apporterions dans la maison de l’Eternel, d’année en année, les premiers fruits de notre terre, et les prémices de tous les fruits de tous les arbres ;
36Et que nous rachèterions les premiers-nés de nos fils, et de nos bêtes, comme il est écrit dans la Loi ; et que nous amènerions en la maison de notre Dieu, aux Sacrificateurs qui font le service dans la maison de notre Dieu, les premiers-nés de nos boeufs et de notre menu bétail.
37Et que nous apporterions les prémices de notre pâte, nos oblations, les fruits de tous les arbres, le vin, et l’huile aux Sacrificateurs, dans les chambres de la maison de notre Dieu, et la dîme de notre terre aux Lévites, et que les Lévites prendraient les dîmes par toutes les villes de notre labourage ;
38Et qu’il y aurait un Sacrificateur, fils d’Aaron, avec les Lévites pour dîmer les Lévites, et que les Lévites apporteraient la dîme de la dîme en la maison de notre Dieu, dans les chambres, au lieu où étaient les greniers.
39(car les enfants d’Israël ? et les enfants de Lévi devaient apporter dans les chambres l’oblation du froment, du vin ? et de l’huile ; et là étaient les ustensiles du Sanctuaire, et les Sacrificateurs qui font le service, et les portiers, et les chantres ) et que nous n’abandonnerions point la maison de notre Dieu.

28Y el resto del pueblo, los sacerdotes, Levitas, porteros, y cantores, Nethineos, y todos los que se habían apartado de los pueblos de las tierras á la ley de Dios, sus mujeres, sus hijos y sus hijas, y todo el que tenía comprensión y discernimiento,
29Adhiriéronse á sus hermanos, sus principales, y vinieron en la protestación y en el juramento de que andarían en la ley de Dios, que fué dada por mano de Moisés siervo de Dios, y que guardarían y cumplirían todos los mandamientos de Jehová nuestro Señor, y sus juicios y sus estatutos;
30Y que no daríamos nuestras hijas á los pueblos de la tierra, ni tomaríamos sus hijas para nuestros hijos.
31Asimismo, que si los pueblos de la tierra trajesen á vender mercaderías y comestibles en día de sábado, nada tomaríamos de ellos en sábado, ni en día santificado; y que dejaríamos el año séptimo, con remisión de toda deuda.
32Impusímonos además por ley el cargo de contribuir cada año con la tercera parte de un siclo, para la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios;
33Para el pan de la proposición, y para la ofrenda continua, y para el holocausto continuo, de los sábados, y de las nuevas lunas, y de las festividades, y para las santificaciones y sacrificios por el pecado para expiar á Israel, y para toda la obra de la casa de nuestro Dios.
34Echamos también las suertes, los sacerdotes, los Levitas, y el pueblo, acerca de la ofrenda de la leña, para traerla á la casa de nuestro Dios, según las casas de nuestros padres, en los tiempos determinados cada un año, para quemar sobre el altar de Jehová nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley.
35Y que cada año traeríamos las primicias de nuestra tierra, y las primicias de todo fruto de todo árbol, á la casa de Jehová:
36Asimismo los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestras bestias, como está escrito en la ley; y que traeríamos los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestras ovejas á la casa de nuestro Dios, á los sacerdotes que ministran en la casa de nuestro Dios:
37Que traeríamos también las primicias de nuestras masas, y nuestras ofrendas, y del fruto de todo árbol, del vino y del aceite, á los sacerdotes, á las cámaras de la casa de nuestro Dios, y el diezmo de nuestra tierra á los Levitas; y que los Levitas recibirían las décimas de nuestras labores en todas las ciudades:
38Y que estaría el sacerdote hijo de Aarón con los Levitas, cuando los Levitas recibirían el diezmo: y que los Levitas llevarían el diezmo del diezmo á la casa de nuestro Dios, á las cámaras en la casa del tesoro.
39Porque á las cámaras han de llevar los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Leví la ofrenda del grano, del vino, y del aceite; y allí estarán los vasos del santuario, y los sacerdotes que ministran, y los porteros, y los cantores; y no abandonaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.

28And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;
29They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;
30And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:
31And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.
32Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;
33For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.
34And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law:
35And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:
36Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:
37And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.
38And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.
39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.

28The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the temple servants, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters—everyone who had knowledge and understanding—
29joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the LORD our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;
30and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;

38The priest, the descendent of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes. The Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.
39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the rooms where the vessels of the sanctuary are, and the priests who minister, with the gatekeepers and the singers. We will not forsake the house of our God.
