Marcos 8

In jenen Tagen war wieder einmal eine große Volksmenge beisammen und hatte nichts zu essen. Da rief er seine Jünger zu sich her und sprach zu ihnen:

EN aquellos días, como hubo gran gentío, y no tenían qué comer, Jesús llamó á sus discípulos, y les dijo:

In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and saith unto them,

In those days, when there was a very great multitude, and they had nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples to himself and said to them,

"Mich erbarmt des Volkes. Schon drei Tage harren sie bei mir aus und haben nichts zu essen.

Tengo compasión de la multitud, porque ya hace tres días que están conmigo, y no tienen qué comer:

I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

“I have compassion on the multitude, because they have stayed with me now three days and have nothing to eat.

Wenn ich sie hungrig nach Hause gehen lasse, könnten sie auf dem Weg verschmachten, und manche unter ihnen sind weit hergekommen."

Y si los enviare en ayunas á sus casas, desmayarán en el camino; porque algunos de ellos han venido de lejos.

And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

If I send them away fasting to their home, they will faint on the way, for some of them have come a long way.”

Seine Jünger aber gaben ihm zur Antwort: "Wie sollte man sie hier in der Steppe mit Broten sättigen können?"

Y sus discípulos le respondieron: ¿De dónde podrá alguien hartar á estos de pan aquí en el desierto?

And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

His disciples answered him, “From where could one satisfy these people with bread here in a deserted place?”

Da fragte er sie: "Wieviel Brote habt ihr denn?" Sie sprachen: "Sieben."

Y les preguntó: ¿Cuántos panes tenéis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete.

And he asked them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven.

He asked them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven.”

Nun hieß er die Leute, sich auf den Boden lagern. Dann nahm er die sieben Brote, dankte, brach sie und gab sie seinen Jüngern, daß diese sie austeilen möchten. Sie teilten sie der Menge aus.

Entonces mandó á la multitud que se recostase en tierra; y tomando los siete panes, habiendo dado gracias, partió, y dió á sus discípulos que los pusiesen delante: y los pusieron delante á la multitud.

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground, and he took the seven loaves. Having given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to serve, and they served the multitude.

Auch ein paar Fischlein hatten sie. Er segnete auch diese und ließ auch sie verteilen.

Tenían también unos pocos pececillos: y los bendijo, y mandó que también los pusiesen delante.

And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

They also had a few small fish. Having blessed them, he said to serve these also.

Sie aßen und wurden satt; sie trugen auch noch sieben Körbe weg mit Stücken, die übriggeblieben waren.

Y comieron, y se hartaron: y levantaron de los pedazos que habían sobrado, siete espuertas.

So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets.

They ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets of broken pieces that were left over.

Es waren wohl an viertausend gewesen die gegessen hatten; alsdann entließ er sie.

Y eran los que comieron, como cuatro mil: y los despidió.

And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

Those who had eaten were about four thousand. Then he sent them away.

Sogleich stieg er mit seinen Jüngern in das Boot, und er gelangte in die Gegend von Dalmanutha.

Y luego entrando en el barco con sus discípulos, vino á las partes de Dalmanutha.

And straightway he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

Immediately he entered into the boat with his disciples and came into the region of Dalmanutha.

Da kamen auch die Pharisäer, und sie versuchten, sich mit ihm einzulassen. Sie wollten ihn auf die Probe stellen und verlangten von ihm ein Zeichen aus dem Himmel.

Y vinieron los Fariseos, y comenzaron á altercar con él, pidiéndole señal del cielo, tentándole.

And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

The Pharisees came out and began to question him, seeking from him a sign from heaven and testing him.

Da seufzte er aus tiefstem Herzensgrund und sprach: "Wozu verlangt dieses Geschlecht ein Zeichen? Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Diesem Geschlecht wird kein Zeichen gegeben werden."

Y gimiendo en su espíritu, dice: ¿Por qué pide señal esta generación? De cierto os digo que no se dará señal á esta generación.

And he sighed deeply in his spirit, and saith, Why doth this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

He sighed deeply in his spirit and said, “Why does this generation seek a sign? Most certainly I tell you, no sign will be given to this generation.”

Damit ließ er sie stehen, stieg wieder ein und fuhr ans andere Ufer.

Y dejándolos, volvió á entrar en el barco, y se fué de la otra parte.

And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

He left them, and again entering into the boat, departed to the other side.

Sie hatten vergessen, Brote mitzunehmen; nur ein einziges Brot hatten sie bei sich im Boote.

Y se habían olvidado de tomar pan, y no tenían sino un pan consigo en el barco.

Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

They forgot to take bread; and they didn’t have more than one loaf in the boat with them.

Er warnte sie und sprach zu ihnen: "Habt acht und hütet euch vor dem Sauerteig der Pharisäer und vor dem Sauerteig des Herodes!"

Y les mandó, diciendo: Mirad, guardaos de la levadura de los Fariseos, y de la levadura de Herodes.

And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

He warned them, saying, “Take heed: beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and the yeast of Herod.”

Sie besprachen sich und sagten schließlich: "Wir haben ja kein Brot bei uns."

Y altercaban los unos con los otros diciendo: Pan no tenemos.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

They reasoned with one another, saying, “It’s because we have no bread.”

Doch Jesus merkte dies und sprach zu ihnen: "Was besprecht ihr miteinander, weil ihr keine Brote habt; begreift und versteht ihr denn immer noch nicht? Ist euer Herz noch ganz verschlossen?

Y como Jesús lo entendió, les dice: ¿Qué altercáis, porque no tenéis pan? ¿no consideráis ni entendéis? ¿aun tenéis endurecido vuestro corazón?

And when Jesus knew it, he saith unto them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? perceive ye not yet, neither understand? have ye your heart yet hardened?

Jesus, perceiving it, said to them, “Why do you reason that it’s because you have no bread? Don’t you perceive yet or understand? Is your heart still hardened?

Ihr habt Augen, seht aber nicht, und Ohren habt ihr, hört aber nicht. Erinnert ihr euch denn nicht mehr,

¿Teniendo ojos no veis, y teniendo oídos no oís? ¿y no os acordáis?

Having eyes, see ye not? and having ears, hear ye not? and do ye not remember?

Having eyes, don’t you see? Having ears, don’t you hear? Don’t you remember?

daß ich fünf Brote für die Fünftausend brach? Wie viele Körbe, voll mit Stücken, habt ihr noch fortgetragen?" Sie sagten zu ihm: "Zwölf."

Cuando partí los cinco panes entre cinco mil, ¿cuántas espuertas llenas de los pedazos alzasteis? Y ellos dijeron: Doce.

When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve.

When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him, “Twelve.”

"Und bei den sieben für die Viertausend: Wie viele Körbe, voll mit Stücken, habt ihr da noch fortgetragen?" Sie gaben ihm zur Antwort: "Sieben."

Y cuando los siete panes entre cuatro mil, ¿cuántas espuertas llenas de los pedazos alzasteis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete.

And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? And they said, Seven.

“When the seven loaves fed the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They told him, “Seven.”

Er sprach zu ihnen: "Versteht ihr es denn immer noch nicht?"

Y les dijo: ¿Cómo aun no entendéis?

And he said unto them, How is it that ye do not understand?

He asked them, “Don’t you understand yet?”

Sie kamen nach Bethsaida. Dort brachte man ihm einen Blinden; sie baten ihn, er möge ihn nur berühren.

Y vino á Bethsaida; y le traen un ciego, y le ruegan que le tocase.

And he cometh to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

He came to Bethsaida. They brought a blind man to him and begged him to touch him.

Er nahm den Blinden bei der Hand und führte ihn vors Dorf hinaus. Alsdann tat er Speichel in seine Augen, legte ihm die Hände auf und fragte ihn: "Siehst du etwas?"

Entonces, tomando la mano del ciego, le sacó fuera de la aldea; y escupiendo en sus ojos, y poniéndole las manos encima, le preguntó si veía algo.

And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

He took hold of the blind man by the hand, and brought him out of the village. When he had spat on his eyes, and laid his hands on him, he asked him if he saw anything.

Er sah auf und sagte: "Ich sehe die Menschen; ich sehe etwas wie Bäume, daß sie sich bewegen."

Y él mirando, dijo: Veo los hombres, pues veo que andan como árboles.

And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

He looked up, and said, “I see men, but I see them like walking trees.”

Dann legte er ihm die Hände nochmals auf die Augen. Sein Blick drang jetzt ganz durch, er wurde wiederhergestellt und konnte alles deutlich sehen.

Luego le puso otra vez las manos sobre sus ojos, y le hizo que mirase; y fué restablecido, y vió de lejos y claramente á todos.

After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

Then again he laid his hands on his eyes. He looked intently, and was restored, and saw everyone clearly.

Dann sandte er ihn heim und sprach: "Geh nicht ins Dorf hinein!"

Y envióle á su casa, diciendo: No entres en la aldea, ni lo digas á nadie en la aldea.

And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

He sent him away to his house, saying, “Don’t enter into the village, nor tell anyone in the village.”

Darauf ging Jesus mit seinen Jüngern in die Ortschaften von Cäsarea Philippi. Auf dem Wege fragte er seine Jünger: "Für wen halten mich die Leute?"

Y salió Jesús y sus discípulos por las aldeas de Cesarea de Filipo. Y en el camino preguntó á sus discípulos, diciéndoles: ¿Quién dicen los hombres que soy yo?

And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Cæsarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

Jesus went out, with his disciples, into the villages of Caesarea Philippi. On the way he asked his disciples, “Who do men say that I am?”

Sie gaben ihm zur Antwort: "Für Johannes den Täufer, andere für Elias, wieder andere für irgendeinen Propheten."

Y ellos respondieron: Juan Bautista; y otros, Elías; y otros, Alguno de los profetas.

And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.

They told him, “John the Baptizer, and others say Elijah, but others, one of the prophets.”

Da fragte er sie weiter: "Für wen haltet ihr mich?" Darauf gab ihm Petrus zur Antwort: "Du bist der Christus."

Entonces él les dice: Y vosotros, ¿quién decís que soy yo? Y respondiendo Pedro, le dice: Tú eres el Cristo.

And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ.

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter answered, “You are the Christ.”

Er aber schärfte ihnen streng ein, sie sollten über ihn zu niemand reden.

Y les apercibió que no hablasen de él á ninguno.

And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

He commanded them that they should tell no one about him.

Nun fing er an, sie zu belehren, daß der Menschensohn vieles leiden müsse; er müsse von den Ältesten, den Oberpriestern und den Schriftgelehrten verworfen werden, er müsse getötet werden, doch nach drei Tagen werde er wieder auferstehen.

Y comenzó á enseñarles, que convenía que el Hijo del hombre padeciese mucho, y ser reprobado de los ancianos, y de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas, y ser muerto, y resucitar después de tres días.

And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

Er sagte das ganz offen. Da nahm ihn Petrus beiseite und wollte ihm ernstlich zureden.

Y claramente decía esta palabra. Entonces Pedro le tomó, y le comenzó á reprender.

And he spake that saying openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

He spoke to them openly. Peter took him and began to rebuke him.

Er aber wandte sich um, und angesichts der Jünger schalt er Petrus mit den Worten: "Hinweg von mir, du Satan! Du hast nicht Sinn fürs Göttliche, sondern nur fürs Menschliche."

Y él, volviéndose y mirando á sus discípulos, riñó á Pedro, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Satanás; porque no sabes las cosas que son de Dios, sino las que son de los hombres.

But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

But he, turning around and seeing his disciples, rebuked Peter, and said, “Get behind me, Satan! For you have in mind not the things of God, but the things of men.”

Alsdann rief er die Menge samt seinen Jüngern her und sprach zu ihnen: "Wer mir nachfolgen will, der verleugne sich selbst, nehme sein Kreuz auf sich und folge mir.

Y llamando á la gente con sus discípulos, les dijo: Cualquiera que quisiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese á sí mismo, y tome su cruz, y sígame.

And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

He called the multitude to himself with his disciples and said to them, “Whoever wants to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Denn wer sein Leben sich erhalten will, der wird es verlieren, und wer sein Leben mir und dem Evangelium zulieb verliert, der wird es erhalten.

Porque el que quisiere salvar su vida, la perderá; y el que perdiere su vida por causa de mí y del evangelio, la salvará.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it; and whoever will lose his life for my sake and the sake of the Good News will save it.

Was nützte es dem Menschen, wenn er die ganze Welt gewänne, doch sein Leben dabei verlöre!

Porque ¿qué aprovechará al hombre, si granjeare todo el mundo, y pierde su alma?

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his life?

Was könnte auch einer geben als Kaufpreis für sein Leben?

¿O qué recompensa dará el hombre por su alma?

Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For what will a man give in exchange for his life?

Denn wer sich bei diesem Geschlecht voll Ehebruch und Sünde meiner und meiner Worte schämt, dessen wird auch der Menschensohn sich schämen, wenn er mitsamt den heiligen Engeln in der Herrlichkeit seines Vaters kommt."

Porque el que se avergonzare de mí y de mis palabras en esta generación adulterina y pecadora, el Hijo del hombre se avergonzará también de él, cuando vendrá en la gloria de su Padre con los santos ángeles.

Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he cometh in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.

For whoever will be ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man also will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with the holy angels.”
