para que vendo, vejam, e não percebam; e ouvindo, ouçam, e não entendam; para não haver de se converterem, e lhes sejam perdoados os pecados.

Para que viendo, vean y no echen de ver; y oyendo, oigan y no entiendan: porque no se conviertan, y les sean perdonados los pecados.

That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.
