1And he entred againe into ye Synagogue, and there was a man which had a withered had.
2And they watched him, whether he would heale him on the Sabbath day, that they might accuse him.
3Then he saide vnto the man which had the withered hand, Arise: stand forth in the middes.
4And he saide to them, Is it lawfull to doe a good deede on the Sabbath day, or to doe euil? to saue the life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5Then hee looked rounde about on them angerly, mourning also for the hardnesse of their hearts, and saide to the man, Stretch foorth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hande was restored, as whole as the other.
6And the Pharises departed, and straightway gathered a councill with the Herodians against him, that they might destroy him.
7But Iesus auoided with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude followed him from Galile, and from Iudea,
8And from Ierusalem, and from Idumea, and beyonde Iordan: and they that dwelled about Tyrus and Sidon, when they had heard what great things he did, came vnto him in great number.
9And he commanded his disciples, that a litle shippe should waite for him, because of the multitude, lest they shoulde throng him.
10For hee had healed many, in so much that they preassed vpon him to touch him, as many as had plagues.
11And when the vncleane spirits sawe him, they fel downe before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Sonne of God.
12And he sharply rebuked them, to the ende they should not vtter him.
13Then hee went vp into a mountaine, and called vnto him whome he woulde, and they came vnto him.
14And hee appoynted twelue that they should be with him, and that he might send them to preache,
15And that they might haue power to heale sicknesses, and to cast out deuils.
16And the first was Simon, and hee named Simon, Peter,
17Then Iames the sonne of Zebedeus, and Iohn Iames brother (and surnamed them Boanerges, which is, the sonnes of thunder,)
18And Andrew, and Philippe, and Bartlemew, and Matthewe, and Thomas, and Iames, the sonne of Alpheus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Cananite,
19And Iudas Iscariot, who also betraied him, and they came home.
20And the multitude assembled againe, so that they could not so much as eate bread.
21And when his kinsfolkes heard of it, they went out to laie hold on him: for they sayde that he was beside himselfe.
22And the Scribes which came downe from Hierusalem, saide, He hath Beelzebub, and through the prince of the deuils he casteth out deuils.
23But he called them vnto him, and said vnto them in parables, How can Satan driue out Satan?
24For if a kingdome bee deuided against it selfe, that kingdome can not stand.
25Or if a house bee deuided against it selfe, that house can not continue.
26So if Satan make insurrection against himselfe, and be deuided, hee can not endure but is at an ende.
27No man can enter into a strong mans house, and take away his goods, except hee first binde that strong man, and then spoyle his house.
28Verely I say vnto you, all sinnes shalbe forgiuen vnto the children of men, and blasphemies, wherewith they blaspheme:
29But hee that blasphemeth against the holy Ghost, shall neuer haue forgiuenesse, but is culpable of eternall damnation.
30Because they saide, Hee had an vncleane spirit.
31Then came his brethren and mother, and stoode without, and sent vnto him, and called him.
32And the people sate about him, and they said vnto him, Beholde, thy mother, and thy brethren seeke for thee without.
33But hee answered them, saying, Who is my mother and my brethren?
34And hee looked rounde about on them, which sate in compasse about him, and saide, Beholde my mother and my brethren.
35For whosoeuer doeth the will of God, he is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

1Y OTRA vez entró en la sinagoga; y había allí un hombre que tenía una mano seca.
2Y le acechaban si en sábado le sanaría, para acusarle.
3Entonces dijo al hombre que tenía la mano seca: Levántate en medio.
4Y les dice: ¿Es lícito hacer bien en sábado, ó hacer mal? ¿salvar la vida, ó quitarla? Mas ellos callaban.
5Y mirándolos alrededor con enojo, condoleciéndose de la ceguedad de su corazón, dice al hombre: Extiende tu mano. Y la extendió, y su mano fué restituída sana.
6Entonces saliendo los Fariseos, tomaron consejo con los Herodianos contra él, para matarle.
7Mas Jesús se apartó á la mar con sus discípulos: y le siguió gran multitud de Galilea, y de Judea,
8Y de Jerusalem, y de Idumea, y de la otra parte del Jordán. Y los de alrededor de Tiro y de Sidón, grande multitud, oyendo cuán grandes cosas hacía, vinieron á él.
9Y dijo á sus discípulos que le estuviese siempre apercibida la barquilla, por causa del gentío, para que no le oprimiesen.
10Porque había sanado á muchos; de manera que caían sobre él cuantos tenían plagas, por tocarle.
11Y los espíritus inmundos, al verle, se postraban delante de él, y daban voces, diciendo: Tú eres el Hijo de Dios.
12Mas él les reñía mucho que no le manifestasen.
13Y subió al monte, y llamó á sí á los que él quiso; y vinieron á él.
14Y estableció doce, para que estuviesen con él, y para enviarlos á predicar,
15Y que tuviesen potestad de sanar enfermedades, y de echar fuera demonios:
16A Simón, al cual puso por nombre Pedro;
17Y á Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y á Juan hermano de Jacobo; y les apellidó Boanerges, que es, Hijos del trueno;
18Y á Andrés, y á Felipe, y á Bartolomé, y á Mateo, y á Tomás, y á Jacobo hijo de Alfeo, y á Tadeo, y á Simón el Cananita,
19Y á Judas Iscariote, el que le entregó. Y vinieron á casa.
20Y agolpóse de nuevo la gente, de modo que ellos ni aun podían comer pan.
21Y como lo oyeron los suyos, vinieron para prenderle: porque decían: Está fuera de sí.
22Y los escribas que habían venido de Jerusalem, decían que tenía á Beelzebub, y que por el príncipe de los demonios echaba fuera los demonios.
23Y habiéndolos llamado, les decía en parábolas: ¿Cómo puede Satanás echar fuera á Satanás?
24Y si algún reino contra sí mismo fuere dividido, no puede permanecer el tal reino.
25Y si alguna casa fuere dividida contra sí misma, no puede permanecer la tal casa.
26Y si Satanás se levantare contra sí mismo, y fuere dividido, no puede permanecer; antes tiene fin.
27Nadie puede saquear las alhajas del valiente entrando en su casa, si antes no atare al valiente y entonces saqueará su casa.
28De cierto os digo que todos los pecados serán perdonados á los hijos de los hombres, y las blasfemias cualesquiera con que blasfemaren;
29Mas cualquiera que blasfemare contra el Espíritu Santo, no tiene jamás perdón, mas está expuesto á eterno juicio.
30Porque decían: Tiene espíritu inmundo.
31Vienen después sus hermanos y su madre, y estando fuera, enviaron á él llamándole.
32Y la gente estaba sentada alrededor de él, y le dijeron: He aquí, tu madre y tus hermanos te buscan fuera.
33Y él les respondió, diciendo: ¿Quién es mi madre y mis hermanos?
34Y mirando á los que estaban sentados alrededor de él, dijo: He aquí mi madre y hermanos.
35Porque cualquiera que hiciere la voluntad de Dios, éste es mi hermano, y mi hermana, y mi madre.

9And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
10For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
11And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
12And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
13And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
14And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
15And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
16And Simon he surnamed Peter;
17And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
18And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
20And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
22And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
23And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27No man can enter into a strong man’s house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
28Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
30Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
31There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

3He said to the man whose hand was withered, “Stand up.”
4He said to them, “Is it lawful on the Sabbath day to do good or to do harm? To save a life or to kill?” But they were silent.
5When he had looked around at them with anger, being grieved at the hardening of their hearts, he said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” He stretched it out, and his hand was restored as healthy as the other.
6The Pharisees went out, and immediately conspired with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
7Jesus withdrew to the sea with his disciples; and a great multitude followed him from Galilee, from Judea,
8from Jerusalem, from Idumaea, beyond the Jordan, and those from around Tyre and Sidon. A great multitude, hearing what great things he did, came to him.
9He spoke to his disciples that a little boat should stay near him because of the crowd, so that they wouldn’t press on him.
10For he had healed many, so that as many as had diseases pressed on him that they might touch him.
11The unclean spirits, whenever they saw him, fell down before him and cried, “You are the Son of God!”
12He sternly warned them that they should not make him known.
13He went up into the mountain and called to himself those whom he wanted, and they went to him.
14He appointed twelve, that they might be with him, and that he might send them out to preach
15and to have authority to heal sicknesses and to cast out demons:
16Simon (to whom he gave the name Peter);
17James the son of Zebedee; and John, the brother of James, (whom he called Boanerges, which means, Sons of Thunder);
18Andrew; Philip; Bartholomew; Matthew; Thomas; James, the son of Alphaeus; Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot;
19and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him. Then he came into a house.
20The multitude came together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21When his friends heard it, they went out to seize him; for they said, “He is insane.”
22The scribes who came down from Jerusalem said, “He has Beelzebul,” and, “By the prince of the demons he casts out the demons.”
23He summoned them and said to them in parables, “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26If Satan has risen up against himself, and is divided, he can’t stand, but has an end.
27But no one can enter into the house of the strong man to plunder unless he first binds the strong man; then he will plunder his house.
28“Most certainly I tell you, all sins of the descendants of man will be forgiven, including their blasphemies with which they may blaspheme;
29but whoever may blaspheme against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is subject to eternal condemnation.”
30—because they said, “He has an unclean spirit.”
31His mother and his brothers came, and standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32A multitude was sitting around him, and they told him, “Behold, your mother, your brothers, and your sisters are outside looking for you.”
33He answered them, “Who are my mother and my brothers?”
34Looking around at those who sat around him, he said, “Behold, my mother and my brothers!
35For whoever does the will of God is my brother, my sister, and mother.”
