Este es el comienzo del evangelio de Jesucristo, el Hijo de Dios.

The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

The beginning of the Good News of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Como está escrito en Isaías el profeta: "MIREN, YO ESTOY ENVIANDO MI MENSAJERO DELANTE DE TI, EL QUE TE PREPARARÁ TU CAMINO.

Como está escrito en Isaías el profeta: He aquí yo envío á mi mensajero delante de tu faz, que apareje tu camino delante de ti.

As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

As it is written in the prophets, “Behold, I send my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way before you:

LA VOZ DEL QUE LLAMA EN EL DESIERTO: 'PREPARAD EL CAMINO DEL SEÑOR, HAZ SUS CAMINOS RECTOS'"

Voz del que clama en el desierto: Aparejad el camino del Señor; enderezad sus veredas.

The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

the voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord! Make his paths straight!’”

Juan vino, bautizando en el desierto y predicando un bautismo de arrepentimiento para el perdón de pecados.

Bautizaba Juan en el desierto, y predicaba el bautismo del arrepentimiento para remisión de pecados.

John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

John came baptizing in the wilderness and preaching the baptism of repentance for forgiveness of sins.

Toda la nación de Judea y toda la gente de Jerusalén salían hacia él. Ellos eran bautizados por él en el río Jordán, al estos confesar sus pecados.

Y salía á él toda la provincia de Judea, y los de Jerusalem; y eran todos bautizados por él en el río de Jordán, confesando sus pecados.

And there went out unto him all the land of Judæa, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

All the country of Judea and all those of Jerusalem went out to him. They were baptized by him in the Jordan river, confessing their sins.

Juan vestía un abrigo de pelo de camellos, un cinturón de cuero en su cintura y él comía saltamontes y miel silvestre.

Y Juan andaba vestido de pelos de camello, y con un cinto de cuero alrededor de sus lomos; y comía langostas y miel silvestre.

And John was clothed with camel’s hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

John was clothed with camel’s hair and a leather belt around his waist. He ate locusts and wild honey.

Él predicaba y decía: "Alguien viene después de mí, quien es más poderoso que yo, y yo no soy digno ni de tan siquiera bajarme a desatar las tirillas de Sus sandalias.

Y predicaba, diciendo: Viene tras mí el que es más poderoso que yo, al cual no soy digno de desatar encorvado la correa de sus zapatos.

And preached, saying, There cometh one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

He preached, saying, “After me comes he who is mightier than I, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to stoop down and loosen.

Yo les bauticé a ustedes con agua, pero Él les bautizará con el Espíritu Santo".

Yo á la verdad os he bautizado con agua; mas él os bautizará con Espíritu Santo.

I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.

I baptized you in water, but he will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.”

Aconteció en esos días que Jesús vino de Nazaret en Galilea, y Él fue bautizado por Juan en el río Jordán.

Y aconteció en aquellos días, que Jesús vino de Nazaret de Galilea, y fué bautizado por Juan en el Jordán.

And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

In those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized by John in the Jordan.

Al Jesús salir de las aguas, Él vio los cielos abrirse y el Espíritu descendía sobre Él como una paloma.

Y luego, subiendo del agua, vió abrirse los cielos, y al Espíritu como paloma, que descendía sobre él.

And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:

Immediately coming up from the water, he saw the heavens parting and the Spirit descending on him like a dove.

Y una voz salía de los cielos: "Tú eres mi Hijo amado. Yo estoy muy complacido contigo."

Y hubo una voz de los cielos que decía: Tú eres mi Hijo amado; en ti tomo contentamiento.

And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

A voice came out of the sky, “You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.”

Entonces el Espíritu inmediatamente lo impulsó a salir al desierto.

Y luego el Espíritu le impele al desierto.

And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

Immediately the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness.

Él estuvo en el desierto cuarenta días, siendo tentado por Satanás. El estaba con los animales salvajes y los ángeles le servían.

Y estuvo allí en el desierto cuarenta días, y era tentado de Satanás; y estaba con las fieras; y los ángeles le servían.

And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

He was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals; and the angels were serving him.

Luego que Juan fue arrestado, Jesús vino a Galilea y proclamando el evangelio de Dios,

Mas después que Juan fué encarcelado, Jesús vino á Galilea predicando el evangelio del reino de Dios,

Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

Now after John was taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the Good News of God’s Kingdom,

y diciendo: "El tiempo se ha cumplido y el reino de Dios está cerca. Arrepiéntanse y crean en el evangelio."

Y diciendo: El tiempo es cumplido, y el reino de Dios está cerca: arrepentíos, y creed al evangelio.

And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel.

and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and God’s Kingdom is at hand! Repent, and believe in the Good News.”

Y al pasar junto al mar de Galilea, Él vio a Simón y Andrés, el hermano de Simón, tirando una red al mar, porque ellos eran pescadores.

Y pasando junto á la mar de Galilea, vió á Simón, y á Andrés su hermano, que echaban la red en la mar; porque eran pescadores.

Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Passing along by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew, the brother of Simon, casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen.

Jesús les dijo: "Vengan y síganme y Yo los haré a ustedes pescadores de hombres."

Y les dijo Jesús: Venid en pos de mí, y haré que seáis pescadores de hombres.

And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

Jesus said to them, “Come after me, and I will make you into fishers for men.”

Inmediatamente ellos dejaron sus redes y fueron tras de Él.

Y luego, dejadas sus redes, le siguieron.

And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

Immediately they left their nets, and followed him.

Mientras Jesús caminaba un poco más lejos, Él vio a Jacobo (Santiago), hijo de Zebedeo, y a Juan, su hermano; ellos estaban en el bote remendando las redes.

Y pasando de allí un poco más adelante, vió á Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y á Juan su hermano, también ellos en el navío, que aderezaban las redes.

And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

Going on a little further from there, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who were also in the boat mending the nets.

Él inmediatamente los llamó; ellos dejaron a su padre Zebedeo en el bote con los trabajadores y ellos Lo siguieron.

Y luego los llamó: y dejando á su padre Zebedeo en el barco con los jornaleros, fueron en pos de él.

And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

Immediately he called them, and they left their father, Zebedee, in the boat with the hired servants, and went after him.

Y ellos entrando a Capernaúm, y, en el Sábado, Jesús entró a la sinagoga y enseñó.

Y entraron en Capernaum; y luego los sábados, entrando en la sinagoga, enseñaba.

And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

They went into Capernaum, and immediately on the Sabbath day he entered into the synagogue and taught.

Ellos estaban sorprendidos de su enseñanza, pues Él les enseñaba como uno que tiene autoridad y no como los escribas.

Y se admiraban de su doctrina; porque les enseñaba como quien tiene potestad, y no como los escribas.

And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

They were astonished at his teaching, for he taught them as having authority, and not as the scribes.

Justo allí estaba en la sinagoga un hombre que tenía un espíritu inmundo, y gritaba:

Y había en la sinagoga de ellos un hombre con espíritu inmundo, el cual dió voces,

And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,

Immediately there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit, and he cried out,

"¿Qué nosotros tenemos que hacer contigo, Jesús de Nazaret? ¿Has venido a destruirnos? Yo sé quien tú eres. ¡Tú eres Él Santo de Dios!"

Diciendo: ¡Ah! ¿qué tienes con nosotros, Jesús Nazareno? ¿Has venido á destruirnos? Sé quién eres, el Santo de Dios.

Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.

saying, “Ha! What do we have to do with you, Jesus, you Nazarene? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”

Jesús reprendió al demonio y le dijo: "¡Cállate y sal de él!"

Y Jesús le riñó, diciendo: Enmudece, y sal de él.

And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.

Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be quiet, and come out of him!”

Y el espíritu inmundo lo tiró al suelo, y salió de él gritando en voz alta.

Y el espíritu inmundo, haciéndole pedazos, y clamando á gran voz, salió de él.

And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

The unclean spirit, convulsing him and crying with a loud voice, came out of him.

Toda la gente estaba maravillada, así que ellos se preguntaban unos a otros: "¿Qué es esto? ¡Una nueva enseñanza con autoridad! Él ordena aún a los espíritus inmundos y ellos Le obedecen."

Y todos se maravillaron, de tal manera que inquirían entre sí, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto? ¿Qué nueva doctrina es ésta, que con potestad aun á los espíritus inmundos manda, y le obedecen?

And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.

They were all amazed, so that they questioned among themselves, saying, “What is this? What can this new doctrine be? For with authority he commands even the unclean spirits, and they obey him!”

Inmediatamente las noticias acerca de Él salieron por todos los lugares, a toda la región de Galilea.

Y vino luego su fama por toda la provincia alrededor de Galilea.

And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

The report of him went out immediately into all the region of Galilee and its surrounding area.

Y después que ellos salieron de la sinagoga, fueron a casa de Simón y Andrés, con Jacobo y Juan.

Y luego saliendo de la sinagoga, vinieron á casa de Simón y de Andrés, con Jacobo y Juan.

And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Immediately, when they had come out of the synagogue, they came into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Ahora la suegra de Simón estaba acostada enferma con fiebre e inmediatamente ellos le dijeron a Jesús sobre ella.

Y la suegra de Simón estaba acostada con calentura; y le hablaron luego de ella.

But Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick of a fever, and anon they tell him of her.

Now Simon’s wife’s mother lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him about her.

Así que Él vino, la tomó de la mano y la levantó; la fiebre se le fue y ella empezó a servirles.

Entonces llegando él, la tomó de su mano y la levantó; y luego la dejó la calentura, y les servía.

And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

He came and took her by the hand and raised her up. The fever left her immediately, and she served them.

Esa noche, después que se puso el sol, ellos Le trajeron todos los que estaban enfermos o poseídos por demonios.

Y cuando fué la tarde, luego que el sol se puso, traían á él todos los que tenían mal, y endemoniados;

And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

At evening, when the sun had set, they brought to him all who were sick and those who were possessed by demons.

La ciudad completa se reunió a la puerta.

Y toda la ciudad se juntó á la puerta.

And all the city was gathered together at the door.

All the city was gathered together at the door.

Él sanó muchos que estaban enfermos con varias enfermedades y echó fuera muchos demonios, pero Él no dejaba a los demonios hablar porque ellos lo conocían.

Y sanó á muchos que estaban enfermos de diversas enfermedades, y echó fuera muchos demonios; y no dejaba decir á los demonios que le conocían.

And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

He healed many who were sick with various diseases and cast out many demons. He didn’t allow the demons to speak, because they knew him.

Él se levantó bien temprano, mientras aún estaba oscuro; salió y fue a un lugar solitario y allí oró.

Y levantándose muy de mañana, aun muy de noche, salió y se fué á un lugar desierto, y allí oraba.

And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

Early in the morning, while it was still dark, he rose up and went out, and departed into a deserted place, and prayed there.

Simón y los que estaban con él, lo buscaban.

Y le siguió Simón, y los que estaban con él;

And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

Simon and those who were with him searched for him.

Ellos Lo encontraron y Le dijeron: "Todos Te están buscando."

Y hallándole, le dicen: Todos te buscan.

And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

They found him and told him, “Everyone is looking for you.”

Él dijo: "Vayamos a otra parte, hacia los pueblos vecinos, para que Yo pueda predicar allí también. Por eso Yo vine aquí."

Y les dice: Vamos á los lugares vecinos, para que predique también allí; porque para esto he venido.

And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

He said to them, “Let’s go elsewhere into the next towns, that I may preach there also, because I came out for this reason.”

Él fue por toda Galilea, predicó en sus sinagogas y expulsaba demonios.

Y predicaba en las sinagogas de ellos en toda Galilea, y echaba fuera los demonios.

And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

He went into their synagogues throughout all Galilee, preaching and casting out demons.

Un leproso vino a Él; y le rogaba a Él mientras se arrodillaba, y le dijo: "Si estás dispuesto, Tú me puedes limpiar."

Y un leproso vino á él, rogándole; é hincada la rodilla, le dice: Si quieres, puedes limpiarme.

And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

A leper came to him, begging him, kneeling down to him, and saying to him, “If you want to, you can make me clean.”

Movido con compasión, Jesús extendió Su mano y lo tocó, diciéndole: "Yo estoy dispuesto. Sé limpio."

Y Jesús, teniendo misericordia de él, extendió su mano, y le tocó, y le dice: Quiero, sé limpio.

And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith unto him, I will; be thou clean.

Being moved with compassion, he stretched out his hand, and touched him, and said to him, “I want to. Be made clean.”

Inmediatamente la lepra lo dejó y él fue hecho limpio.

Y así que hubo él hablado, la lepra se fué luego de aquél, y fué limpio.

And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

When he had said this, immediately the leprosy departed from him and he was made clean.

Jesús estrictamente le advirtió y lo mandó a irse inmediatamente,

Entonces le apercibió, y despidióle luego,

And he straitly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

He strictly warned him and immediately sent him out,

y le dijo: "Asegúrate no decir nada a nadie, pero ve, muéstrate al sacerdote y ofrece por tu limpieza las cosas que Moisés ordenó, como testimonio a ellos."

Y le dice: Mira, no digas á nadie nada; sino ve, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza lo que Moisés mandó, para testimonio á ellos.

And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

and said to him, “See that you say nothing to anybody, but go show yourself to the priest and offer for your cleansing the things which Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”

Pero él salió afuera y comenzó a decirle a todos, regó la palabra tanto que Jesús no pudo ir libremente a ningún pueblo. Así que Él tuvo que quedarse en lugares solitarios y la gente venía a Él de todas partes.

Mas él salido, comenzó á publicarlo mucho, y á divulgar el hecho, de manera que ya Jesús no podía entrar manifiestamente en la ciudad, sino que estaba fuera en los lugares desiertos; y venían á él de todas partes.

But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

But he went out, and began to proclaim it much, and to spread about the matter, so that Jesus could no more openly enter into a city, but was outside in desert places. People came to him from everywhere.
