Alguien corrió, puso vino agrio en una esponja, lo puso en una vara, y le dieron a beber. El hombre dijo, "veamos si Elías, viene a bajarlo".

Y corrió uno, y empapando una esponja en vinagre, y poniéndola en una caña, le dió á beber, diciendo: Dejad, veamos si vendrá Elías á quitarle.

And one ran and filled a spunge full of vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink, saying, Let alone; let us see whether Elias will come to take him down.
