Die Armen habt ihr ja allezeit bei euch, und sooft ihr wollt, könnt ihr ihnen wohltun; mich aber habt ihr nicht allezeit. (a) 5Mo 15:11

Que siempre tendréis los pobres con vosotros, y cuando quisiereis les podréis hacer bien; mas á mí no siempre me tendréis.

For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always.

For you always have the poor with you, and whenever you want to, you can do them good; but you will not always have me.
