E tentavan di mettergli le mani addosso: imperocché intesero, che questa parabola l'aveva detta per loro; ma ebber paura delle turbe. E lasciatolo, se ne andarono.

Y procuraban prenderle, porque entendían que decía á ellos aquella parábola; mas temían á la multitud; y dejándole, se fueron.

And they sought to lay hold on him, but feared the people: for they knew that he had spoken the parable against them: and they left him, and went their way.

They tried to seize him, but they feared the multitude; for they perceived that he spoke the parable against them. They left him and went away.
