Cuando estuvieron próximos a Jerusalén, cerca de Betfagé y Betania, junto al Monte de los Olivos, envió a dos de sus discípulos,
Y COMO fueron cerca de Jerusalem, de Bethphagé, y de Bethania, al monte de las Olivas, envía dos de sus discípulos,
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples,

diciéndoles: “Id a la aldea que está enfrente de vosotros; y luego de entrar en ella, encontraréis un burrito atado, sobre el cual nadie ha montado todavía. Desatadlo y traedlo.
Y les dice: Id al lugar que está delante de vosotros, y luego entrados en él, hallaréis un pollino atado, sobre el cual ningún hombre ha subido; desatadlo y traedlo.
And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him.
and said to them, “Go your way into the village that is opposite you. Immediately as you enter into it, you will find a young donkey tied, on which no one has sat. Untie him and bring him.
Y si alguien os pregunta: “¿Por qué hacéis esto?”, contestad: “El Señor lo necesita, y al instante lo devolverá aquí”.
Y si alguien os dijere: ¿Por qué hacéis eso? decid que el Señor lo ha menester: y luego lo enviará acá.
And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither.
If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord needs him;’ and immediately he will send him back here.”
Partieron, pues, y encontraron un burrito atado a una puerta, por de fuera, en la calle, y lo desataron.
Y fueron, y hallaron el pollino atado á la puerta fuera, entre dos caminos; y le desataron.
And they went their way, and found the colt tied by the door without in a place where two ways met; and they loose him.
They went away, and found a young donkey tied at the door outside in the open street, and they untied him.
Algunas personas que se encontraban allí, les dijeron: “¿Qué hacéis, desatando el burrito?”
Y unos de los que estaban allí, les dijeron: ¿Qué hacéis desatando el pollino?
And certain of them that stood there said unto them, What do ye, loosing the colt?
Some of those who stood there asked them, “What are you doing, untying the young donkey?”
Ellos les respondieron como Jesús les había dicho, y los dejaron hacer.
Ellos entonces les dijeron como Jesús había mandado: y los dejaron.
And they said unto them even as Jesus had commanded: and they let them go.
They said to them just as Jesus had said, and they let them go.
Llevaron, pues, el burrito a Jesús y pusieron encima sus mantos, y Él lo montó.
Y trajeron el pollino á Jesús, y echaron sobre él sus vestidos, y se sentó sobre él.
And they brought the colt to Jesus, and cast their garments on him; and he sat upon him.
They brought the young donkey to Jesus and threw their garments on it, and Jesus sat on it.
Y muchos extendieron sus mantos sobre el camino; otros, brazadas de follaje que habían cortado de los campos.
Y muchos tendían sus vestidos por el camino, y otros cortaban hojas de los árboles, y las tendían por el camino.
And many spread their garments in the way: and others cut down branches off the trees, and strawed them in the way.

Y los que marchaban delante y los que seguían, clamaban: “¡Hosanna! ¡Bendito sea el que viene en el nombre del Señor!
Y los que iban delante, y los que iban detrás, daban voces diciendo: ¡Hosanna! Bendito el que viene en el nombre del Señor.
And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord:

¡Bendito sea el advenimiento del reino de nuestro padre David! ¡Hosanna en las alturas!”

Y entró en Jerusalén en el Templo, y después de mirarlo todo, siendo ya tarde, partió de nuevo para Betania con los Doce.
Y entró Jesús en Jerusalem, y en el templo: y habiendo mirado alrededor todas las cosas, y siendo ya tarde, salióse á Bethania con los doce.
And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when he had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, he went out unto Bethany with the twelve.

Al día siguiente, cuando salieron de Betania, tuvo hambre.

Y divisando, a la distancia, una higuera que tenía hojas, fue para ver si encontraba algo en ella; pero llegado allí, no encontró más que hojas, porque no era el tiempo de los higos.
Y viendo de lejos una higuera que tenía hojas, se acercó, si quizá hallaría en ella algo: y como vino á ella, nada halló sino hojas; porque no era tiempo de higos.
And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet.

Entonces, respondió y dijo a la higuera: “¡Que jamás ya nadie coma fruto de ti!” Y sus discípulos lo oyeron.

And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever. And his disciples heard it.

Llegado a Jerusalén, entró en el Templo, y se puso a expulsar a los que vendían y a los que compraban en el Templo, y volcó las mesas de los cambistas y las sillas de los que vendían las palomas;
Vienen, pues, á Jerusalem; y entrando Jesús en el templo, comenzó á echar fuera á los que vendían y compraban en el templo; y trastornó las mesas de los cambistas, y las sillas de los que vendían palomas;
And they come to Jerusalem: and Jesus went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves;
They came to Jerusalem, and Jesus entered into the temple and began to throw out those who sold and those who bought in the temple, and overthrew the money changers’ tables and the seats of those who sold the doves.
y no permitía que nadie atravesase el Templo transportando objetos.
Y no consentía que alguien llevase vaso por el templo.
And would not suffer that any man should carry any vessel through the temple.

Y les enseñó diciendo: “¿No está escrito: «Mi casa será llamada casa de oración para todas las naciones»? Pero vosotros, la habéis hecho cueva de ladrones”.
Y les enseñaba diciendo: ¿No está escrito que mi casa, casa de oración será llamada por todas las gentes? Mas vosotros la habéis hecho cueva de ladrones.
And he taught, saying unto them, Is it not written, My house shall be called of all nations the house of prayer? but ye have made it a den of thieves.
He taught, saying to them, “Isn’t it written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you have made it a den of robbers!”
Los sumos sacerdotes y los escribas lo oyeron y buscaban cómo hacerlo perecer; pero le tenían miedo, porque todo el pueblo estaba poseído de admiración por su doctrina.
Y lo oyeron los escribas y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y procuraban cómo le matarían; porque le tenían miedo, por cuanto todo el pueblo estaba maravillado de su doctrina.
And the scribes and chief priests heard it, and sought how they might destroy him: for they feared him, because all the people was astonished at his doctrine.

Y llegada la tarde, salieron (Jesús y sus discípulos) de la ciudad.
Mas como fué tarde, Jesús salió de la ciudad.
And when even was come, he went out of the city.

Al pasar (al día siguiente) muy de mañana, vieron la higuera que se había secado de raíz.
Y pasando por la mañana, vieron que la higuera se había secado desde las raíces.
And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots.
As they passed by in the morning, they saw the fig tree withered away from the roots.
Entonces, Pedro se acordó y dijo: “¡Rabí, mira! La higuera que maldijiste se ha secado”.
Entonces Pedro acordándose, le dice: Maestro, he aquí la higuera que maldijiste, se ha secado.
And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away.
Peter, remembering, said to him, “Rabbi, look! The fig tree which you cursed has withered away.”
Y Jesús les respondió y dijo: “¡Tened fe en Dios!
Y respondiendo Jesús, les dice: Tened fe en Dios.
And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.
Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.
En verdad, os digo, quien dijere a este monte: “Quítate de ahí y échate al mar”, sin titubear interiormente, sino creyendo que lo que dice se hará, lo obtendrá.
Porque de cierto os digo que cualquiera que dijere á este monte: Quítate, y échate en la mar, y no dudare en su corazón, mas creyere que será hecho lo que dice, lo que dijere le será hecho.
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
For most certainly I tell you, whoever may tell this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ and doesn’t doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is happening, he shall have whatever he says.
Por eso, os digo, todo lo que pidiereis orando, creed que lo obtuvisteis ya, y se os dará.
Por tanto, os digo que todo lo que orando pidiereis, creed que lo recibiréis, y os vendrá.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
Therefore I tell you, all things whatever you pray and ask for, believe that you have received them, and you shall have them.
Y cuando os ponéis de pie para orar, perdonad lo que podáis tener contra alguien, a fin de que también vuestro Padre celestial os perdone vuestros pecados.
Y cuando estuviereis orando, perdonad, si tenéis algo contra alguno, para que vuestro Padre que está en los cielos os perdone también á vosotros vuestras ofensas.
And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father, who is in heaven, may also forgive you your transgressions.
Si no perdonáis, vuestro Padre que está en los cielos no os perdonará tampoco vuestros pecados”.
Porque si vosotros no perdonareis, tampoco vuestro Padre que está en los cielos os perdonará vuestras ofensas.
But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your transgressions.”
Fueron de nuevo a Jerusalén. Y como Él se pasease por el Templo, se le llegaron los jefes de los sacerdotes, los escribas y los ancianos,
Y volvieron á Jerusalem; y andando él por el templo, vienen á él los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas, y los ancianos;
And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders,

y le dijeron: “¿Con qué poder haces estas cosas, y quién te ha dado ese poder para hacerlas?”

And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things?
and they began saying to him, “By what authority do you do these things? Or who gave you this authority to do these things?”
Jesús les contestó: “Os haré Yo también una pregunta. Respondedme, y os diré con qué derecho obro así:
Y Jesús respondiendo entonces, les dice: Os preguntaré también yo una palabra; y respondedme, y os diré con qué facultad hago estas cosas:
And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
Jesus said to them, “I will ask you one question. Answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things.
El bautismo de Juan, ¿era del cielo o de los hombres? Respondedme”.
El bautismo de Juan, ¿era del cielo, ó de los hombres? Respondedme.
The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me.

Mas ellos discurrieron así en sí mismos: “Si decimos «del cielo», dirá: «entonces ¿por qué no le creísteis?»”
Entonces ellos pensaron dentro de sí, diciendo: Si dijéremos, del cielo, dirá: ¿Por qué, pues, no le creísteis?
And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him?

Y ¿si decimos: “de los hombres”? pero temían al pueblo, porque todos tenían a Juan por un verdadero profeta.
Y si dijéremos, de los hombres, tememos al pueblo: porque todos juzgaban de Juan, que verdaderamente era profeta.
But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed.
If we should say, ‘From men’”—they feared the people, for all held John to really be a prophet.
Respondieron, pues, a Jesús. “No sabemos”. Entonces, Jesús les dijo: “Y bien, ni Yo tampoco os digo con qué poder hago esto”.
Y respondiendo, dicen á Jesús: No sabemos. Entonces respondiendo Jesús, les dice: Tampoco yo os diré con qué facultad hago estas cosas.
And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things.
They answered Jesus, “We don’t know.” Jesus said to them, “Neither will I tell you by what authority I do these things.”
