OID ahora lo que dice Jehová: Levántate, pleitea con los montes, y oigan los collados tu voz.
Hear ye now what the LORD saith; Arise, contend thou before the mountains, and let the hills hear thy voice.
Listen now to what the LORD says: “Arise, plead your case before the mountains, and let the hills hear what you have to say.
Ascoltino la disputa del Signore i monti, e i fondamenti fortissimi della terra: perocché il Signore viene a disputare col suo popolo, e farassi giudizio tra lui e Israele.
Oid, montes, y fuertes fundamentos de la tierra, el pleito de Jehová: porque tiene Jehová pleito con su pueblo, y altercará con Israel.
Hear ye, O mountains, the LORD’s controversy, and ye strong foundations of the earth: for the LORD hath a controversy with his people, and he will plead with Israel.
Hear, you mountains, the LORD’s indictment, and you enduring foundations of the earth; for the LORD has a case against his people, and he will contend with Israel.
Popolo mio, che è quello, ch'io ti ho fatto? Od in qual cosa ti ho io disgustato? Rispondi a me.
Pueblo mío, ¿qué te he hecho, ó en qué te he molestado? Responde contra mí.
O my people, what have I done unto thee? and wherein have I wearied thee? testify against me.
My people, what have I done to you? How have I burdened you? Answer me!
Forse perchè ti trassi dalla terra d'Egitto, e ti liberai dalla casa degli schiavi, e mandai innanzi a te Mosè. Aronne, e Maria?
Porque yo te hice subir de la tierra de Egipto, y de la casa de siervos te redimí; y envié delante de ti á Moisés, y á Aarón, y á María.
For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee out of the house of servants; and I sent before thee Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.

Popolo mio, di grazia sovvengati dei disegni di Balach re di Moab, di quello, che a lui rispose Balaam figliuolo di Beor, (sovvengati) da Sethim fino a Salgala, affinchè tu conoscessi la giustizia del Signore.
Pueblo mío, acuérdate ahora qué aconsejó Balac rey de Moab, y qué le respondió Balaam, hijo de Beor, desde Sittim hasta Gilgal, para que conozcas las justicias de Jehová.
O my people, remember now what Balak king of Moab consulted, and what Balaam the son of Beor answered him from Shittim unto Gilgal; that ye may know the righteousness of the LORD.

Che offerirò al Signore, che sia degno di lui! Piegherò le ginocchia dinanzi all'Altissimo Iddio? Offerirogli olocausti, e vitelli d'un anno?
¿Con qué prevendré á Jehová, y adoraré al alto Dios? ¿vendré ante él con holocaustos, con becerros de un año?
Wherewith shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?
How shall I come before the LORD, and bow myself before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?
Può egli forse placarsi il Signore per mezzo di mille arieti, o con molte migliaia di grassi capri? Sagrificherò forse a lui pel mio delitto il mio primo genito, od alcuno de' miei figliuoli pel peccato commesso da me?
¿Agradaráse Jehová de millares de carneros, ó de diez mil arroyos de aceite? ¿daré mi primogénito por mi rebelión, el fruto de mi vientre por el pecado de mi alma?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Will the LORD be pleased with thousands of rams? With tens of thousands of rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my disobedience? The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Io ti insegnerò, o uomo, quello, che è ben fatto, e quello, che il Signore cerca da te: viene a dire, che tu facci giudizio, e ami la misericordia, e cammini con sollecitudine dietro al tuo Dio.
Oh hombre, él te ha declarado qué sea lo bueno, y qué pida de ti Jehová: solamente hacer juicio, y amar misericordia, y humillarte para andar con tu Dios.
He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the LORD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?
He has shown you, O man, what is good. What does the LORD require of you, but to act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?
La voce del Signore rimbomba sopra la città: avranno salute quelli, che temono il nome tuo. Ascoltate voi, o tribù; ma chi sarà ubbidiente?
La voz de Jehová clama á la ciudad, y el sabio mirará á tu nombre. Oid la vara, y á quien la establece.
The LORD’s voice crieth unto the city, and the man of wisdom shall see thy name: hear ye the rod, and who hath appointed it.
The LORD’s voice calls to the city— and wisdom fears your name— “Listen to the rod, and he who appointed it.
Come fuoco sono tuttora in casa dell'empio i tesori di iniquità, e la misura scarsa ripiena d'ira.
¿Hay aún en casa del impío tesoros de impiedad, y medida escasa que es detestable?
Are there yet the treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and the scant measure that is abominable?
Are there yet treasures of wickedness in the house of the wicked, and a short ephah that is accursed?
Dovrò io aver per giusta la stadera empia, e i pesi falsi del sacco?
¿Seré limpio con peso falso, y con bolsa de engañosas pesas?
Shall I count them pure with the wicked balances, and with the bag of deceitful weights?
Shall I tolerate dishonest scales, and a bag of deceitful weights?
Pe' quali i suoi ricchi si sono ripieni di iniquità, e i suoi abitanti dicevan bugie, ed hanno in bocca una lingua ingannatrice.
Con lo cual sus ricos se hinchieron de rapiña, y sus moradores hablaron mentira, y su lengua engañosa en su boca.
For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
Her rich men are full of violence, her inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their speech.
Io pertanto ho cominciato a flagellarti, e a desolarti per ragione de' tuoi peccati.
Por eso yo también te enflaqueceré hiriéndote, asolándote por tus pecados.
Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.
Therefore I also have struck you with a grievous wound. I have made you desolate because of your sins.
Mangerai, e non potrai satollarti; e in mezzo a te sarà (la cagione) di tue calamità. Avrai fecondità, ma non salverai i figliuoli; e se li salverai, io li farò perire di spada.
Tú comerás, y no te hartarás; y tu abatimiento será en medio de ti: tú cogerás, mas no salvarás; y lo que salvares, lo entregaré yo á la espada.
Thou shalt eat, but not be satisfied; and thy casting down shall be in the midst of thee; and thou shalt take hold, but shalt not deliver; and that which thou deliverest will I give up to the sword.

Seminerai, e non mieterai; pigerai le ulive, e non ti ungerai coll'olio; e le uve, ma non berai del vino.
Tú sembrarás, mas no segarás: pisarás aceitunas, mas no te ungirás con el aceite; y mosto, mas no beberás el vino.
Thou shalt sow, but thou shalt not reap; thou shalt tread the olives, but thou shalt not anoint thee with oil; and sweet wine, but shalt not drink wine.
You will sow, but won’t reap. You will tread the olives, but won’t anoint yourself with oil; and crush grapes, but won’t drink the wine.
Perchè tu hai osservati gl'insegnamenti di Amri, e tutte le maniere di vivere della casa di Achab, e hai fatto quel, che ad essi piaceva, affinchè io abbandonassi te alla perdizione, e i tuoi abitanti agli scherni; e voi porterete l'obbrobrio del popol mio. Si duole il Profeta, che vi restino pochissimi,che non siano ingiusti. Non confidar nell'uomo, ma in Dio solo Salvatore, che avrà compassione di Sion, e svergognati i nemici, a se la farà tornare, adempiendo le promesse fatte ai padri.
Porque los mandamientos de Omri se han guardado, y toda obra de la casa de Achâb; y en los consejos de ellos anduvisteis, para que yo te diese en asolamiento, y tus moradores para ser silbados. Llevaréis por tanto el oprobio de mi pueblo.
For the statutes of Omri are kept, and all the works of the house of Ahab, and ye walk in their counsels; that I should make thee a desolation, and the inhabitants thereof an hissing: therefore ye shall bear the reproach of my people.
