E con furore, e indignazione farò vendetta di tutte le genti, che non hanno ascoltato. Il Signore rimprovera a Israele la sua ingratitudine; Dice quel, ch'ei domandi dal popol suo, a cui predice molte afflizioni per la sua ingiustizia, e per altre scelleratezze.

Y arrancaré tus bosques de en medio de ti, y destruiré tus ciudades.

And I will pluck up thy groves out of the midst of thee: so will I destroy thy cities.

I will uproot your Asherah poles from among you; and I will destroy your cities.
