Dimodochè la tua limosina sia segreta: e il Padre tuo, che vede nel segreto, te ne darà egli la ricompensa.

Para que sea tu limosna en secreto: y tu Padre que ve en secreto, él te recompensará en público.

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

so that your merciful deeds may be in secret, then your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
