Non vogliate adunque mettervi in pena pel dì di domane. Imperocché il dì di domane avrà pensiero per se: basta a ciascun giorno il suo affanno. De' cattivi giudizj: del non dare a' cani le cose sante: dell'efficacia dell'orazione: fare agli altri quel, che vogliamo sia fatto a noi. Alla vita si entra per la porta, stretta. Come si distinguono i falsi profeti dai veri, e il buon arbore dal cattivo. Similitudine dell'uomo, che edifica, con quello, che ascolta Cristo.
Así que, no os congojéis por el día de mañana; que el día de mañana traerá su fatiga: basta al día su afán.
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
