“Vosotros sois la sal de la tierra. Mas si la sal pierde su sabor, ¿con qué será salada? Para nada vale ya, sino para que, tirada fuera, la pisen los hombres.

Vosotros sois la sal de la tierra: y si la sal se desvaneciere ¿con qué será salada? no vale más para nada, sino para ser echada fuera y hollada de los hombres.

Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.
