Alors Jésus fut emmené par l'Esprit dans le désert pour être tenté par le diable.

ENTONCES Jesús fué llevado del Espíritu al desierto, para ser tentado del diablo.

Et s'étant approché de lui, le tentateur lui dit: Si tu es le Fils de Dieu, dis que ces pierres deviennent des pains.

Y llegándose á él el tentador, dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, di que estas piedras se hagan pan.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

The tempter came and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become bread.”

Mais Jésus répondit: Il est écrit: L'homme ne vivra pas de pain seulement, mais de toute parole qui sort de la bouche de Dieu.

Mas él respondiendo, dijo: Escrito está: No con solo el pan vivirá el hombre, mas con toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios.

But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”

Alors le diable le mena dans la ville sainte, et le mit sur le haut du temple;

Entonces el diablo le pasa á la santa ciudad, y le pone sobre las almenas del templo,

Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Et il lui dit: Si tu es le Fils de Dieu, jette-toi en bas; car il est écrit qu'il ordonnera à ses anges d'avoir soin de toi; et ils te porteront dans leurs mains, de peur que tu ne heurtes ton pied contre quelque pierre.

Y le dice: Si eres Hijo de Dios, échate abajo; que escrito está: A sus ángeles mandará por ti, y te alzarán en las manos, para que nunca tropieces con tu pie en piedra.

And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”

Jésus lui dit: Il est aussi écrit: Tu ne tenteras point le Seigneur ton Dieu.

Jesús le dijo: Escrito está además: No tentarás al Señor tu Dios.

Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Le diable le mena encore sur une montagne fort haute, et lui montra tous les royaumes du monde et leur gloire;

Otra vez le pasa el diablo á un monte muy alto, y le muestra todos los reinos del mundo, y su gloria,

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.

Et lui dit: Je te donnerai toutes ces choses, si, te prosternant, tu m'adores.

Y dícele: Todo esto te daré, si postrado me adorares.

And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”

Alors Jésus lui dit: Arrière, Satan; car il est écrit: Tu adoreras le Seigneur ton Dieu, et tu le serviras lui seul.

Entonces Jesús le dice: Vete, Satanás, que escrito está: Al Señor tu Dios adorarás y á él solo servirás.

Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”

Alors le diable le laissa; et voici des anges vinrent, et le servirent.

El diablo entonces le dejó: y he aquí los ángeles llegaron y le servían.

Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Or Jésus, ayant appris que Jean avait été mis en prison, se retira dans la Galilée.

Mas oyendo Jesús que Juan era preso, se volvió á Galilea;

Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;

Et ayant quitté Nazareth, il vint demeurer à Capernaüm, ville proche de la mer, sur les confins de Zabulon et de Nephthali;

Y dejando á Nazaret, vino y habitó en Capernaum, ciudad marítima, en los confines de Zabulón y de Nephtalim:

And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

En sorte que fut accompli ce qui avait été dit par Ésaïe le prophète en ces termes:

Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo:

That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,

that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,

Pays de Zabulon et de Nephthali, sur le chemin de la mer, au-delà du Jourdain, Galilée des gentils!

La tierra de Zabulón, y la tierra de Nephtalim, camino de la mar, de la otra parte del Jordán, Galilea de los Gentiles;

The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles;

“The land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, toward the sea, beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles,

Le peuple qui était assis dans les ténèbres, a vu une grande lumière; et la lumière s'est levée sur ceux qui étaient assis dans la région et dans l'ombre de la mort.

El pueblo asentado en tinieblas, vió gran luz; y á los sentados en región y sombra de muerte, luz les esclareció.

The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Dès lors Jésus commença à prêcher et à dire: Repentez-vous; car le royaume des cieux est proche.

Desde entonces comenzó Jesús á predicar, y á decir: Arrepentíos, que el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

Et Jésus, marchant le long de la mer de Galilée, vit deux frères, Simon, appelé Pierre, et André, son frère, qui jetaient leurs filets dans la mer, car ils étaient pêcheurs.

Y andando Jesús junto á la mar de Galilea, vió á dos hermanos, Simón, que es llamado Pedro, y Andrés su hermano, que echaban la red en la mar; porque eran pescadores.

And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

Et il leur dit: Suivez-moi, et je vous ferai pêcheurs d'hommes.

De là étant allé plus avant, il vit deux autres frères, Jacques, fils de Zébédée, et Jean, son frère, dans une barque, avec Zébédée, leur père, qui raccommodaient leurs filets, et il les appela.

Y pasando de allí vió otros dos hermanos, Jacobo, hijo de Zebedeo, y Juan su hermano, en el barco con Zebedeo, su padre, que remendaban sus redes; y los llamó.

And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.

Et Jésus allait par toute la Galilée, enseignant dans leurs synagogues, prêchant l'évangile du royaume de Dieu, et guérissant toutes sortes de maladies et toutes sortes de langueurs parmi le peuple.

Y rodeó Jesús toda Galilea, enseñando en las sinagogas de ellos, y predicando el evangelio del reino, y sanando toda enfermedad y toda dolencia en el pueblo.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

Y corría su fama por toda la Siria; y le trajeron todos los que tenían mal: los tomados de diversas enfermedades y tormentos, y los endemoniados, y lunáticos, y paralíticos, y los sanó.

And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.

The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.

Et une grande multitude le suivit de la Galilée, de la Décapole, de Jérusalem, de la Judée, et d'au-delà du Jourdain.

Y le siguieron muchas gentes de Galilea y de Decápolis y de Jerusalem y de Judea y de la otra parte del Jordán.

And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.

Great multitudes from Galilee, Decapolis, Jerusalem, Judea, and from beyond the Jordan followed him.
