ENTONCES Jesús fué llevado del Espíritu al desierto, para ser tentado del diablo.

And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Ma egli rispondendo disse: Sta scritto: Non di solo pane vive l'uomo, ma di qualunque cosa, che Dio comandi.
Mas él respondiendo, dijo: Escrito está: No con solo el pan vivirá el hombre, mas con toda palabra que sale de la boca de Dios.
But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Allora il Diavolo lo menò nella città santa, e poselo sulla sommità del tempio.
Entonces el diablo le pasa á la santa ciudad, y le pone sobre las almenas del templo,
Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

E gli disse: Se tu se' figliuolo di Dio, gettati giù: imperocché sta scritto, che ha commesso a' suoi Angeli la cura di te, ed essi ti porteranno sulle mani, affinchè non inciampi talvolta col tuo piede nella pietra.
Y le dice: Si eres Hijo de Dios, échate abajo; que escrito está: A sus ángeles mandará por ti, y te alzarán en las manos, para que nunca tropieces con tu pie en piedra.
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
and said to him, “If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, ‘He will command his angels concerning you,’ and, ‘On their hands they will bear you up, so that you don’t dash your foot against a stone.’”
Gesù gli disse: Sta anche scritto: Non tenterai il Signore Dio tuo.
Jesús le dijo: Escrito está además: No tentarás al Señor tu Dios.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Di nuovo il Diavolo lo menò sopra un monte molto elevato; e fecegli vedere tutti i regni del mondo, e la loro magnificenza.
Otra vez le pasa el diablo á un monte muy alto, y le muestra todos los reinos del mundo, y su gloria,
Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Again, the devil took him to an exceedingly high mountain, and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory.
E gli disse: Tutto questo io ti darò, se prostrato mi adorerai.
Y dícele: Todo esto te daré, si postrado me adorares.
And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
He said to him, “I will give you all of these things, if you will fall down and worship me.”
Allora Gesù gli disse: Vattene Satana; imperocché sta scritto: adora il Signore Dio tuo, e servi lui solo.
Entonces Jesús le dice: Vete, Satanás, que escrito está: Al Señor tu Dios adorarás y á él solo servirás.
Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Then Jesus said to him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
Allora il Diavolo lo lasciò: ed ecco che se gli accostarono gli Angeli, e lo servivano.
El diablo entonces le dejó: y he aquí los ángeles llegaron y le servían.
Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.
Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and served him.
Gesù poi avendo sentito, come Giovanni era stato messo in prigione, si ritirò nella Galilea:
Mas oyendo Jesús que Juan era preso, se volvió á Galilea;
Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee;
Now when Jesus heard that John was delivered up, he withdrew into Galilee.
E lasciata la città di Nazaret, andò ad abitare in Cafarnaum, città marittima, ai confini di Zabulon, e di Neftali:
Y dejando á Nazaret, vino y habitó en Capernaum, ciudad marítima, en los confines de Zabulón y de Nephtalim:
And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim:

Affinchè si adempisse quello, che era stato detto da Isaia profeta.
Para que se cumpliese lo que fué dicho por el profeta Isaías, que dijo:
That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying,
La terra di Zabulon, e la terra di Neftalim strada al mare di là dal Giordano, la Galilea delle nazioni.

Il popolo, che camminava nelle tenebre, ha veduto una gran luce: e la luce si è levata per coloro, che giacevano nella regione, e nella oscurità della morte.
El pueblo asentado en tinieblas, vió gran luz; y á los sentados en región y sombra de muerte, luz les esclareció.
The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up.

Da li in poi cominciò Gesù a predicare, e a dire: Fate penitenza; imperocché il regno dei cieli è vicino.
Desde entonces comenzó Jesús á predicar, y á decir: Arrepentíos, que el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

E camminando Gesù lungo il mare di Galilea, vide due fratelli Simone, chiamato Pietro, e Andrea suo fratello, che gettavano in mare la rete (imperocché erano pescatori):
Y andando Jesús junto á la mar de Galilea, vió á dos hermanos, Simón, que es llamado Pedro, y Andrés su hermano, que echaban la red en la mar; porque eran pescadores.
And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

E disse loro: Venite dietro a me, e vi farò pescatori d'uomini.

And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

E si sparse la fama di lui per tutta la Siria: e gli presentarono tutti quelli, che erano indisposti, e afflitti da diversi mali, e dolori, e gli indemoniati, e i lunatici, e i paralitici, ed ei li risanò.
Y corría su fama por toda la Siria; y le trajeron todos los que tenían mal: los tomados de diversas enfermedades y tormentos, y los endemoniados, y lunáticos, y paralíticos, y los sanó.
And his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those which were lunatick, and those that had the palsy; and he healed them.
The report about him went out into all Syria. They brought to him all who were sick, afflicted with various diseases and torments, possessed with demons, epileptics, and paralytics; and he healed them.
E lo segui una gran turba dalla Galilea, dalla Decapoli, da Gerusalemme, dalla Giudea, e dal paese di là dal Giordano. Delle otto beatitudini: gli Apostoli sale della terra, e luce del mondo: non è venuto Cristo per iscioglier la legge, ma per adempirla: del non adirarsi contro il fratello: del non desiderare la donna altrui: del taglio del membro, che è cagione di scandalo: del non ripudiare la moglie: del non giurare: del non resistere al male: dell'amor de nemici.
Y le siguieron muchas gentes de Galilea y de Decápolis y de Jerusalem y de Judea y de la otra parte del Jordán.
And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
