1Nach Ablauf des Sabbats aber, als der erste Tag nach dem Sabbat anbrechen wollte, gingen Maria von Magdala und die andere Maria hin, um nach dem Grabe zu sehen.
2Da entstand plötzlich ein starkes Erdbeben; denn ein Engel des Herrn, der vom Himmel herabgekommen und herangetreten war, wälzte den Stein weg und setzte sich oben darauf.
3Sein Aussehen war (leuchtend) wie der Blitz und sein Gewand weiß wie der Schnee.
4Aus Furcht vor ihm zitterten die Wächter und wurden wie tot.
5Der Engel aber wandte sich an die Frauen mit den Worten: »Fürchtet ihr euch nicht! Denn ich weiß, daß ihr Jesus, den Gekreuzigten, sucht.
6Er ist nicht (mehr) hier, denn er ist auferweckt worden, wie er es vorausgesagt hat. Kommt her, seht euch die Stelle an, wo er gelegen hat.
7Geht nun eilends hin und sagt seinen Jüngern: »Er ist von den Toten auferweckt worden und geht euch voran nach Galiläa; dort werdet ihr ihn wiedersehen; beachtet wohl, was ich euch gesagt habe!«
8Da gingen sie eilends vom Grabe weg voller Furcht und (zugleich) voll großer Freude und eilten davon, um seinen Jüngern die Botschaft zu bringen.
9Und siehe! Jesus kam ihnen entgegen mit den Worten: »Seid gegrüßt!« Da gingen sie auf ihn zu, umfaßten seine Füße und warfen sich anbetend vor ihm nieder.
10Hierauf sagte Jesus zu ihnen: »Fürchtet euch nicht! Geht hin und verkündigt meinen Brüdern, daß sie nach Galiläa gehen sollen: dort werden sie mich wiedersehen.«
11Während sie nun hingingen, begaben sich einige von der Wachmannschaft (des Grabes) in die Stadt und meldeten den Hohenpriestern alles, was sich zugetragen hatte.
12Nachdem diese sich mit den Ältesten versammelt und sich beraten hatten, gaben sie den Soldaten reichlich Geld
13und sagten: »Macht folgende Aussagen: ›Seine Jünger sind bei Nacht gekommen und haben ihn gestohlen, während wir schliefen.‹
14Und wenn dies dem Statthalter zu Ohren kommen sollte, wollen wir ihn schon beschwichtigen und dafür sorgen, daß ihr keine Angst zu haben braucht.«
15Da nahmen sie (die Soldaten) das Geld und verfuhren nach der empfangenen Weisung; und so ist dieses Gerede bei den Juden in Umlauf gekommen bis zum heutigen Tag.
16Die elf Jünger aber begaben sich nach Galiläa auf den Berg, wohin Jesus sie beschieden hatte;
17und als sie ihn erblickten, warfen sie sich vor ihm nieder; einige aber hegten Zweifel.
18Da trat Jesus herzu und redete sie mit den Worten an: »Mir ist alle Gewalt im Himmel und auf Erden verliehen.
19Darum gehet hin und macht alle Völker zu (meinen) Jüngern: tauft sie auf den Namen des Vaters, des Sohnes und des heiligen Geistes
20und lehrt sie alles halten, was ich euch geboten habe. Und wisset wohl: Ich bin bei euch alle Tage bis ans Ende der Weltzeit!«

1Y LA víspera de sábado, que amanece para el primer día de la semana, vino María Magdalena, y la otra María, á ver el sepulcro.
2Y he aquí, fué hecho un gran terremoto: porque el ángel del Señor, descendiendo del cielo y llegando, había revuelto la piedra, y estaba sentado sobre ella.
3Y su aspecto era como un relámpago, y su vestido blanco como la nieve.
4Y de miedo de él los guardas se asombraron, y fueron vueltos como muertos.
5Y respondiendo el ángel, dijo á las mujeres: No temáis vosotras; porque yo sé que buscáis á Jesús, que fué crucificado.
6No está aquí; porque ha resucitado, como dijo. Venid, ved el lugar donde fué puesto el Señor.
7E id presto, decid á sus discípulos que ha resucitado de los muertos: y he aquí va delante de vosotros á Galilea; allí le veréis; he aquí, os lo he dicho.
8Entonces ellas, saliendo del sepulcro con temor y gran gozo, fueron corriendo á dar las nuevas á sus discípulos. Y mientras iban á dar las nuevas á sus discípulos,
9He aquí, Jesús les sale al encuentro, diciendo: Salve. Y ellas se llegaron y abrazaron sus pies, y le adoraron.
10Entonces Jesús les dice: No temáis: id, dad las nuevas á mis hermanos, para que vayan á Galilea, y allí me verán.
11Y yendo ellas, he aquí unos de la guardia vinieron á la ciudad, y dieron aviso á los príncipes de los sacerdotes de todas las cosas que habían acontecido.
12Y juntados con los ancianos, y habido consejo, dieron mucho dinero á los soldados,
13Diciendo: Decid: Sus discípulos vinieron de noche, y le hurtaron, durmiendo nosotros.
14Y si esto fuere oído del presidente, nosotros le persuadiremos, y os haremos seguros.
15Y ellos, tomando el dinero, hicieron como estaban instruídos: y este dicho fué divulgado entre los Judíos hasta el día de hoy.
16Mas los once discípulos se fueron á Galilea, al monte donde Jesús les había ordenado.
17Y como le vieron, le adoraron: mas algunos dudaban.
18Y llegando Jesús, les habló, diciendo: Toda potestad me es dada en el cielo y en la tierra.
19Por tanto, id, y doctrinad á todos los Gentiles, bautizándolos en el nombre del Padre, y del Hijo, y del Espíritu Santo:
20Enseñándoles que guarden todas las cosas que os he mandado: y he aquí, yo estoy con vosotros todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo. Amén.

1In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the sepulchre.
2And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.
3His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:
4And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.
5And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified.
6He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.
7And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.
8And they departed quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.
9And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.
10Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.
11Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and shewed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
12And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,
13Saying, Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.
14And if this come to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.
15So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.
16Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
17And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
18And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
19Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

1Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.
2Behold, there was a great earthquake, for an angel of the Lord descended from the sky and came and rolled away the stone from the door and sat on it.
3His appearance was like lightning, and his clothing white as snow.
4For fear of him, the guards shook, and became like dead men.
5The angel answered the women, “Don’t be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus, who has been crucified.
6He is not here, for he has risen, just like he said. Come, see the place where the Lord was lying.
7Go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there you will see him.’ Behold, I have told you.”
8They departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, and ran to bring his disciples word.
9As they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, “Rejoice!” They came and took hold of his feet, and worshiped him.
10Then Jesus said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Go tell my brothers that they should go into Galilee, and there they will see me.”
11Now while they were going, behold, some of the guards came into the city and told the chief priests all the things that had happened.
12When they were assembled with the elders and had taken counsel, they gave a large amount of silver to the soldiers,
13saying, “Say that his disciples came by night and stole him away while we slept.
14If this comes to the governor’s ears, we will persuade him and make you free of worry.”
15So they took the money and did as they were told. This saying was spread abroad among the Jews, and continues until today.
16But the eleven disciples went into Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had sent them.
17When they saw him, they bowed down to him; but some doubted.
18Jesus came to them and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
19Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
20teaching them to observe all things that I commanded you. Behold, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
