1UND Jesus verliess den Tempel und wollte weitergehen. Und seine Jünger traten hinzu, um ihm die Bauten des Tempels zu zeigen.
2Er aber begann und sprach zu ihnen: Seht ihr nicht dies alles? Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Hier wird kein Stein auf dem andern bleiben, der nicht zerstört würde. (a) Lu 19:44
3ALS er aber auf dem Ölberg sass, traten die Jünger für sich allein zu ihm und sprachen: Sage uns, wann wird dies geschehen, und was wird das Zeichen deiner Wiederkunft und des Endes der Welt sein?
4Und Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Sehet zu, dass euch niemand irreführe! (a) Mt 7:15; 2Th 2:3
5Denn viele werden unter meinem Namen kommen und sagen: Ich bin der Christus, und werden viele verführen.
6Ihr werdet aber von Kriegen und Kriegsgerüchten hören; sehet zu, erschrecket nicht, denn es muss so kommen, aber es ist noch nicht das Ende. (a) Joh 5:43; Apg 5:36 37; 1Jo 2:18
7Denn erheben wird sich Volk wider Volk und Reich wider Reich, und es werden da und dort Hungersnöte und Erdbeben kommen. (a) Jes 19:2
8Dies alles aber ist (erst) der Anfang der Wehen.
9Dann wird man euch der Drangsal preisgeben und euch töten, und ihr werdet um meines Namens willen von allen Völkern gehasst sein. (a) Joh 16:2
10Und dann "werden viele abfallen" und werden einander verraten und einander hassen.
11Und viele falsche Propheten werden auftreten und werden viele irreführen. (a) Mt 7:15; 1Jo 4:1
12Und weil die Gesetzesverachtung überhand nimmt, wird die Liebe in vielen erkalten. (a) 2Th 2:10; 2Ti 3:1-5
13Wer aber ausharrt bis ans Ende, der wird gerettet werden.
14Und dieses Evangelium vom Reiche wird auf dem ganzen Erdkreis gepredigt werden allen Völkern zum Zeugnis, und dann wird das Ende kommen. (a) Mt 28:19
15WENN ihr nun den "Greuel der Verwüstung", von dem durch den Propheten Daniel geredet worden ist, an heiliger Stätte stehen seht - wer es liest, der merke darauf! - (a) Da 9:27; 11:31; 12:11
16dann sollen die in Judäa ins Gebirge fliehen;
17wer auf dem Dach ist, soll nicht hinabsteigen, um seine Habe aus seinem Haus zu holen, (a) Lu 17:31
18und wer auf dem Feld ist, soll nicht zurückkehren, um seinen Mantel zu holen.
19Wehe aber den Schwangern und den Stillenden in jenen Tagen! (a) Lu 23:29
20Betet aber, dass eure Flucht nicht in den Winter oder auf den Sabbat falle!
21Denn dann wird eine grosse Drangsal sein, wie von Anfang der Welt an bis jetzt keine gewesen ist und auch keine sein wird. (a) Da 12:1
22Und wenn jene Tage nicht verkürzt würden, so würde kein Fleisch gerettet werden; aber um der Auserwählten willen werden jene Tage verkürzt werden.
23Wenn dann jemand zu euch sagt: Siehe, hier ist der Christus, oder dort, so glaubet es nicht! (a) Lu 17:23
24Denn es werden falsche Christus und falsche Propheten auftreten und werden grosse Zeichen und Wunder vollbringen, sodass sie, wenn möglich, auch die Auserwählten irreführen. (a) 2Th 2:9
25Siehe, ich habe es euch vorhergesagt. (a) Joh 14:29; 16:1 4
26Wenn man nun zu euch sagt: Siehe, er ist in der Wüste, so gehet nicht hinaus; siehe, er ist in den Gemächern, so glaubet es nicht!
27Denn wie der Blitz vom Osten ausfährt und bis zum Westen leuchtet, so wird die Wiederkunft des Sohnes des Menschen sein. (a) Lu 17:23 24

29SOGLEICH aber nach der Drangsal jener Tage "wird die Sonne sich verfinstern, und der Mond wird seinen Schein nicht geben", "und die Sterne werden vom Himmel fallen, und die Kräfte der Himmel werden erschüttert werden." (a) Off 6:12-17; Jes 13:10
30Und dann wird das Zeichen des Sohnes des Menschen am Himmel erscheinen, und dann werden alle Geschlechter der Erde wehklagen und werden "den Sohn des Menschen auf den Wolken des Himmels kommen" sehen mit grosser Macht und Herrlichkeit. (a) Mt 25:31; 26:64; Mr 14:62; Da 7:13 14; Off 1:7
31Und er wird seine Engel aussenden mit starkem Posaunenschall, und sie werden seine Auserwählten versammeln von den vier Winden her, von einem Ende des Himmels bis zum andern. (a) Mt 13:41; 1Th 4:16; Jes 27:13; Sac 2:6
32Vom Feigenbaum aber lernet das Gleichnis: Wenn sein Zweig schon saftig wird und die Blätter hervorwachsen, merkt man, dass der Sommer nahe ist.
33So sollt auch ihr, wenn ihr dies alles seht, merken, dass er nahe vor der Türe ist.
34Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Dieses Geschlecht wird nicht vergehen, bis dies alles geschehen sein wird.
35Der Himmel und die Erde werden vergehen, meine Worte aber werden nicht vergehen.
36Über jenen Tag aber und jene Stunde weiss niemand etwas, auch die Engel in den Himmeln nicht, - auch der Sohn nicht - sondern allein der Vater. (1) mehrere alte Textzeugen fügen hier diese Worte ein - wie Mr 13:32 (a) 1Th 5:1 2
37DENN wie die Tage des Noah, so wird die Wiederkunft des Sohnes des Menschen sein. (a) 1Mo 6:11-13
38Wie sie nämlich in den Tagen vor der Sintflut schmausten und tranken, heirateten und verheirateten bis zu dem Tage, da Noah in die Arche ging,
39und es nicht merkten, bis die Sintflut kam und alle hinwegraffte, so wird auch die Wiederkunft des Sohnes des Menschen sein.
40Dann werden zwei auf dem Felde sein: einer wird angenommen und einer wird zurückgelassen.
41Zwei werden mit dem Mühlstein mahlen: eine wird angenommen und eine wird zurückgelassen.
42Darum wachet! Denn ihr wisst nicht, an welchem Tag euer Herr kommt. (a) Mt 25:13
43Das aber merket: Wenn der Hausherr wüsste, in welcher Nachtwache der Dieb kommt, würde er wachen und nicht in sein Haus einbrechen lassen. (a) 2Pe 3:10; Off 3:3
44Deshalb sollt auch ihr bereit sein! Denn der Sohn des Menschen kommt zu einer Stunde, wo ihr es nicht meint. (a) Off 16:15
45WER ist also der treue und kluge Knecht, den sein Herr dazu über sein Gesinde gesetzt hat, ihnen die Speise zur rechten Zeit zu geben?
46Wohl jenem Knecht, den sein Herr, wenn er kommt, bei solchem Tun finden wird!
47Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Er wird ihn über sein ganzes Besitztum setzen. (a) Mt 25:21 23
48Wenn aber jener böse Knecht in seinem Herzen sagt: Mein Herr bleibt noch aus,
49und anfängt, seine Mitknechte zu schlagen, aber mit den Trunkenen isst und trinkt,
50so wird der Herr jenes Knechtes an einem Tage kommen, an dem er es nicht erwartet, und zu einer Stunde, die er nicht weiss,
51und wird ihn in Stücke hauen lassen und ihm sein Teil unter den Heuchlern geben. Dort wird Heulen und Zähneknirschen sein. (a) Mt 8:12

1Y SALIDO Jesús, íbase del templo; y se llegaron sus discípulos, para mostrarle los edificios del templo.
2Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? de cierto os digo, que no será dejada aquí piedra sobre piedra, que no sea destruída.
3Y sentándose él en el monte de las Olivas, se llegaron á él los discípulos aparte, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas, y qué señal habrá de tu venida, y del fin del mundo?
4Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.
5Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y á muchos engañarán.
6Y oiréis guerras, y rumores de guerras: mirad que no os turbéis; porque es menester que todo esto acontezca; mas aún no es el fin.
7Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá pestilencias, y hambres, y terremotos por los lugares.
8Y todas estas cosas, principio de dolores.
9Entonces os entregarán para ser afligidos, y os matarán; y seréis aborrecidos de todas las gentes por causa de mi nombre.
10Y muchos entonces serán escandalizados; y se entregarán unos á otros, y unos á otros se aborrecerán.
11Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán y engañarán á muchos.
12Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, la caridad de muchos se resfriará.
13Mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.
14Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, por testimonio á todos los Gentiles; y entonces vendrá el fin.
15Por tanto, cuando viereis la abominación del asolamiento, que fué dicha por Daniel profeta, que estará en el lugar santo, (el que lee, entienda),
16Entonces los que están en Judea, huyan á los montes;
17Y el que sobre el terrado, no descienda á tomar algo de su casa;
18Y el que en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar sus vestidos.
19Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días!
20Orad, pues, que vuestra huída no sea en invierno ni en sábado;
21Porque habrá entonces grande aflicción, cual no fué desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni será.
22Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, ninguna carne sería salva; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.
23Entonces, si alguno os dijere: He aquí está el Cristo, ó allí, no creáis.
24Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas, y darán señales grandes y prodigios; de tal manera que engañarán, si es posible, aun á los escogidos.
25He aquí os lo he dicho antes.
26Así que, si os dijeren: He aquí en el desierto está; no salgáis: He aquí en las cámaras; no creáis.
27Porque como el relámpago que sale del oriente y se muestra hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.
28Porque donde quiera que estuviere el cuerpo muerto, allí se juntarán las águilas.
29Y luego después de la aflicción de aquellos días, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su lumbre, y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.
30Y entonces se mostrará la señal del Hijo del hombre en el cielo; y entonces lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del hombre que vendrá sobre las nubes del cielo, con grande poder y gloria.
31Y enviará sus ángeles con gran voz de trompeta, y juntarán sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, de un cabo del cielo hasta el otro.
32De la higuera aprended la parábola: Cuando ya su rama se enternece, y las hojas brotan, sabéis que el verano está cerca.
33Así también vosotros, cuando viereis todas estas cosas, sabed que está cercano, á las puertas.
34De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no acontezcan.
35El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.
36Empero del día y hora nadie sabe, ni aun los ángeles de los cielos, sino mi Padre solo.
37Mas como los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.
38Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dando en casamiento, hasta el día que Noé entró en el arca,
39Y no conocieron hasta que vino el diluvio y llevó á todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.
40Entonces estarán dos en el campo; el uno será tomado, y el otro será dejado:
41Dos mujeres moliendo á un molinillo; la una será tomada, y la otra será dejada.
42Velad pues, porque no sabéis á qué hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.
43Esto empero sabed, que si el padre de la familia supiese á cuál vela el ladrón había de venir, velaría, y no dejaría minar su casa.
44Por tanto, también vosotros estad apercibidos; porque el Hijo del hombre ha de venir á la hora que no pensáis.
45¿Quién pues es el siervo fiel y prudente, al cual puso su señor sobre su familia para que les dé alimento á tiempo?
46Bienaventurado aquel siervo, al cual, cuando su señor viniere, le hallare haciendo así.
47De cierto os digo, que sobre todos sus bienes le pondrá.
48Y si aquel siervo malo dijere en su corazón: Mi señor se tarda en venir:
49Y comenzare á herir á sus consiervos, y aun á comer y á beber con los borrachos;
50Vendrá el señor de aquel siervo en el día que no espera, y á la hora que no sabe,
51Y le cortará por medio, y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
2And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
6And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
16Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
21For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.
23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
25Behold, I have told you before.
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:
33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.
34Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
37But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,
51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

1Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.
2But he answered them, “You see all of these things, don’t you? Most certainly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down.”
3As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”
4Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.
5For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.
6You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.
7For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.
8But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.
9“Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.
10Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.
11Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.
12Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.
13But he who endures to the end will be saved.
14This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.
15“When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),
16then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.
17Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house.
18Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.
19But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!
20Pray that your flight will not be in the winter nor on a Sabbath,
21for then there will be great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.
22Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.
23“Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There!’ don’t believe it.
24For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.
25“Behold, I have told you beforehand.
26“If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.
27For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.
28For wherever the carcass is, that is where the vultures gather together.
29“But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;
30and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.
31He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

49and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,
50the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,
51and will cut him in pieces and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
