Mateo 24

Jesús salió del templo e iba en su camino. Sus discípulos se le acercaron para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

Y SALIDO Jesús, íbase del templo; y se llegaron sus discípulos, para mostrarle los edificios del templo.

And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.

Jesus went out from the temple, and was going on his way. His disciples came to him to show him the buildings of the temple.

Pero Él contestó y les dijo a ellos: "¿Ustedes no ven todas estas cosas? Verdaderamente Yo les digo a ustedes, ni una piedra quedará sobre otra que no sea derribada."

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¿Veis todo esto? de cierto os digo, que no será dejada aquí piedra sobre piedra, que no sea destruída.

And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

But he answered them, “You see all of these things, don’t you? Most certainly I tell you, there will not be left here one stone on another, that will not be thrown down.”

Mientras se sentó en el Monte de los Olivos, los discípulos se le acercaron privadamente y dijeron: "Dinos, ¿cuándo pasarán estas cosas? ¿Cuál será la señal de tu venida y del fin del mundo?"

Y sentándose él en el monte de las Olivas, se llegaron á él los discípulos aparte, diciendo: Dinos, ¿cuándo serán estas cosas, y qué señal habrá de tu venida, y del fin del mundo?

And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?”

Jesús les contestó y les dijo a ellos: "Tengan cuidado que nadie los engañe.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Mirad que nadie os engañe.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

Jesus answered them, “Be careful that no one leads you astray.

Porque muchos vendrán en mi nombre. Ellos dirán: 'Yo soy el Cristo,' y guiarán muchos al engaño.

Porque vendrán muchos en mi nombre, diciendo: Yo soy el Cristo; y á muchos engañarán.

For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and will lead many astray.

Ustedes oirán de guerras y y reportes de guerras. Vean que no se atribulen, porque estas cosas tienen que pasar; pero todavía no es el fin.

Y oiréis guerras, y rumores de guerras: mirad que no os turbéis; porque es menester que todo esto acontezca; mas aún no es el fin.

And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you aren’t troubled, for all this must happen, but the end is not yet.

Porque nación se levantará contra nación, y reino contra reino. Habrá hambrunas y terremotos en varios lugares.

Porque se levantará nación contra nación, y reino contra reino; y habrá pestilencias, y hambres, y terremotos por los lugares.

For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be famines, plagues, and earthquakes in various places.

Pero todo esto es solo el principio de los dolores de parto.

Y todas estas cosas, principio de dolores.

All these are the beginning of sorrows.

But all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

Entonces los entregarán a ustedes para tribulación y los matarán. Serán odiados por todas las naciones por mi nombre.

Entonces os entregarán para ser afligidos, y os matarán; y seréis aborrecidos de todas las gentes por causa de mi nombre.

Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.

“Then they will deliver you up to oppression and will kill you. You will be hated by all of the nations for my name’s sake.

Entonces muchos se tambalearán y traicionarán los unos a los otros, y se odiarán unos a los otros.

Y muchos entonces serán escandalizados; y se entregarán unos á otros, y unos á otros se aborrecerán.

And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Then many will stumble, and will deliver up one another, and will hate one another.

Muchos falsos profetas se levantarán y guiarán a muchos al engaño.

Y muchos falsos profetas se levantarán y engañarán á muchos.

And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.

Porque la iniquidad se multiplicará, el frío crecerá en el amor de muchos.

Y por haberse multiplicado la maldad, la caridad de muchos se resfriará.

And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

Because iniquity will be multiplied, the love of many will grow cold.

Pero aquel que resista hasta el final, ése será salvo.

Mas el que perseverare hasta el fin, éste será salvo.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

But he who endures to the end will be saved.

Este evangelio del reino será predicado en todo el mundo como testimonio a todas las naciones. Y entonces el fin vendrá.

Y será predicado este evangelio del reino en todo el mundo, por testimonio á todos los Gentiles; y entonces vendrá el fin.

And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

This Good News of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world for a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.

Por lo tanto, cuando ustedes vean la ABOMINACIÓN DE LA DESOLACIÓN, de la que habló el profeta Daniel, estando parado en el lugar santo, (el que lea entienda),

Por tanto, cuando viereis la abominación del asolamiento, que fué dicha por Daniel profeta, que estará en el lugar santo, (el que lee, entienda),

When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)

“When, therefore, you see the abomination of desolation, which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place (let the reader understand),

Dejen que aquellos que están en Judea huyan a las montañas,

Entonces los que están en Judea, huyan á los montes;

Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains.

Dejen que aquél que se encuentre en el techo de su casa no baje a buscar nada en su casa,

Y el que sobre el terrado, no descienda á tomar algo de su casa;

Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

Let him who is on the housetop not go down to take out the things that are in his house.

y dejen que aquél que esté en el campo no regrese a buscar su abrigo.

Y el que en el campo, no vuelva atrás á tomar sus vestidos.

Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

Let him who is in the field not return back to get his clothes.

Pero, ¡pobre de aquellas que están con niños y las que estén lactando infantes en esos días!

Mas ¡ay de las preñadas, y de las que crían en aquellos días!

And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

But woe to those who are with child and to nursing mothers in those days!

Oren para que su huida no ocurra en el invierno, ni en el día de descanso.

Orad, pues, que vuestra huída no sea en invierno ni en sábado;

But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

Pray that your flight will not be in the winter nor on a Sabbath,

Porque habrá gran tribulación, tal como no ha habido desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, no, ni tampoco nunca habrá.

Porque habrá entonces grande aflicción, cual no fué desde el principio del mundo hasta ahora, ni será.

For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

for then there will be great suffering, such as has not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever will be.

A menos que aquellos días sean acortados, ninguna carne será salva. Pero por el bien de los elegidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

Y si aquellos días no fuesen acortados, ninguna carne sería salva; mas por causa de los escogidos, aquellos días serán acortados.

And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened.

Unless those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved. But for the sake of the chosen ones, those days will be shortened.

Entonces si alguno les dijera a ustedes: 'Mira, ¡aquí está el Cristo!' o, '¡Allá está Cristo!' no lo creas.

Entonces, si alguno os dijere: He aquí está el Cristo, ó allí, no creáis.

Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

“Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There!’ don’t believe it.

Porque falsos cristos y falsos profetas vendrán y mostrarán grandes señales y maravillas, para engañar, si fuera posible, aún a los elegidos.

Porque se levantarán falsos Cristos, y falsos profetas, y darán señales grandes y prodigios; de tal manera que engañarán, si es posible, aun á los escogidos.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

Miren, Yo se los he dicho con tiempo.

He aquí os lo he dicho antes.

Behold, I have told you before.

“Behold, I have told you beforehand.

Por lo tanto, si te dicen, 'Mira, el Cristo está en el desierto,' no salgas al desierto. O, 'Mira, Él está en los cuartos de adentro,' no lo creas.

Así que, si os dijeren: He aquí en el desierto está; no salgáis: He aquí en las cámaras; no creáis.

Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

“If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.

Porque como el relámpago brilla del este y alumbra hasta el oeste, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

Porque como el relámpago que sale del oriente y se muestra hasta el occidente, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.

For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Donde quiera que haya un animal muerto, allí los buitres se reunirán.

Porque donde quiera que estuviere el cuerpo muerto, allí se juntarán las águilas.

For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

For wherever the carcass is, that is where the vultures gather together.

Pero inmediatamente después de la tribulación de esos días el sol se oscurecerá, la luna no dará su luz, las estrellas caerán del cielo, y los poderes de los cielos se sacudirán.

Y luego después de la aflicción de aquellos días, el sol se obscurecerá, y la luna no dará su lumbre, y las estrellas caerán del cielo, y las virtudes de los cielos serán conmovidas.

Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

“But immediately after the suffering of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken;

Entonces la señal del Hijo del Hombre aparecerá en el cielo, y todas las tribus de la tierra golpearán sus pechos. Ellos verán al Hijo del Hombre viniendo en las nubes del cielo con poder y gran gloria.

Y entonces se mostrará la señal del Hijo del hombre en el cielo; y entonces lamentarán todas las tribus de la tierra, y verán al Hijo del hombre que vendrá sobre las nubes del cielo, con grande poder y gloria.

And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

and then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky. Then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky with power and great glory.

Él enviará sus ángeles con un gran sonido de trompeta, y ellos reunirán juntos a sus elegidos desde los cuatro vientos, de un extremo del cielo al otro.

Y enviará sus ángeles con gran voz de trompeta, y juntarán sus escogidos de los cuatro vientos, de un cabo del cielo hasta el otro.

And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

He will send out his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together his chosen ones from the four winds, from one end of the sky to the other.

Aprende una lección del árbol de higo. Tan pronto la rama se pone tierna y salen sus hojas, ustedes saben que el verano está cerca.

De la higuera aprended la parábola: Cuando ya su rama se enternece, y las hojas brotan, sabéis que el verano está cerca.

Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh:

“Now from the fig tree learn this parable: When its branch has now become tender and produces its leaves, you know that the summer is near.

Así también, cuando veas todas estas cosas, ustedes deberían saber que Él está cerca, cerca de las puertas.

Así también vosotros, cuando viereis todas estas cosas, sabed que está cercano, á las puertas.

So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

Even so you also, when you see all these things, know that he is near, even at the doors.

Verdaderamente Yo les digo, esta generación no pasará, hasta que todas estas cosas hayan ocurrido.

De cierto os digo, que no pasará esta generación, que todas estas cosas no acontezcan.

Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Most certainly I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things are accomplished.

El cielo y la tierra pasarán, pero mis palabras nunca pasarán.

El cielo y la tierra pasarán, mas mis palabras no pasarán.

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will not pass away.

Pero concerniente a ese día y hora nadie sabe, ni siquiera los ángeles del cielo, tampoco el Hijo, pero solo el Padre.

Empero del día y hora nadie sabe, ni aun los ángeles de los cielos, sino mi Padre solo.

But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

“But no one knows of that day and hour, not even the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Como fueron los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

Mas como los días de Noé, así será la venida del Hijo del hombre.

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

As the days of Noah were, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Porque como en aquellos días antes del diluvio ellos estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dándose en matrimonio hasta el día que Noé entró en el arca,

Porque como en los días antes del diluvio estaban comiendo y bebiendo, casándose y dando en casamiento, hasta el día que Noé entró en el arca,

For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

y no supieron nada hasta que el diluvio llegó y se los llevó a todos lejos- así será la venida del Hijo del Hombre.

Y no conocieron hasta que vino el diluvio y llevó á todos, así será también la venida del Hijo del hombre.

And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

and they didn’t know until the flood came and took them all away, so will the coming of the Son of Man be.

Entonces dos hombres estarán en un campo, uno será tomado y uno será dejado atrás.

Entonces estarán dos en el campo; el uno será tomado, y el otro será dejado:

Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one will be left.

Dos mujeres estarán moliendo con un molino; una será tomada, la otra será dejada.

Dos mujeres moliendo á un molinillo; la una será tomada, y la otra será dejada.

Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one will be left.

Por lo tanto estén en su guardia, porque tú no sabes en qué día el Señor vendrá.

Velad pues, porque no sabéis á qué hora ha de venir vuestro Señor.

Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Watch therefore, for you don’t know in what hour your Lord comes.

Pero sepan esto, si el amo de la casa supiera en qué hora el ladrón vendría, él estaría en guardia y no permitiría que entrara en su casa.

Esto empero sabed, que si el padre de la familia supiese á cuál vela el ladrón había de venir, velaría, y no dejaría minar su casa.

But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what watch of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched, and would not have allowed his house to be broken into.

Por lo tanto ustedes también tienen que estar preparados, porque el Hijo del Hombre vendrá en una hora que ustedes no esperan.

Por tanto, también vosotros estad apercibidos; porque el Hijo del hombre ha de venir á la hora que no pensáis.

Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Therefore also be ready, for in an hour that you don’t expect, the Son of Man will come.

Así que, ¿quién es el fiel, sirviente sabio, a quién su amo le ha dejado encargado de su casa, para servirles la comida en el momento correcto?

¿Quién pues es el siervo fiel y prudente, al cual puso su señor sobre su familia para que les dé alimento á tiempo?

Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?

“Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has set over his household, to give them their food in due season?

Bendecido es aquel sirviente, que cuando su amo llegue lo encuentre haciendo eso.

Bienaventurado aquel siervo, al cual, cuando su señor viniere, le hallare haciendo así.

Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.

Blessed is that servant whom his lord finds doing so when he comes.

Verdaderamente Yo les digo que ese amo lo pondrá a cargo de todo lo que posee.

De cierto os digo, que sobre todos sus bienes le pondrá.

Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

Most certainly I tell you that he will set him over all that he has.

Pero si un sirviente malo dice en su corazón: 'Mi amo se ha retrasado,'

Y si aquel siervo malo dijere en su corazón: Mi señor se tarda en venir:

But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;

But if that evil servant should say in his heart, ‘My lord is delaying his coming,’

y empieza a golpear a sus compañeros sirvientes y come y bebe con borrachos,

Y comenzare á herir á sus consiervos, y aun á comer y á beber con los borrachos;

And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

and begins to beat his fellow servants, and eat and drink with the drunkards,

el amo de este sirviente llegará en un día que el sirviente no espera, y a una hora que él no sabe.

Vendrá el señor de aquel siervo en el día que no espera, y á la hora que no sabe,

The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

the lord of that servant will come in a day when he doesn’t expect it and in an hour when he doesn’t know it,

Su amo lo cortará en dos y hará su destino el mismo que el de los hipócritas, donde habrá llanto y crujir de dientes.

Y le cortará por medio, y pondrá su parte con los hipócritas: allí será el lloro y el crujir de dientes.

And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

and will cut him in pieces and appoint his portion with the hypocrites. That is where the weeping and grinding of teeth will be.
