È simile il regno de' cieli a un padre di famiglia, il quale andò di gran mattino a fermare de' lavoratori per la sua vigna.

PORQUE el reino de los cielos es semejante á un hombre, padre de familia, que salió por la mañana á ajustar obreros para su viña.

For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

“For the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who was the master of a household, who went out early in the morning to hire laborers for his vineyard.

Ed avendo convenuto co' lavoratori a un denaro per giorno, mandogli alla sua vigna.

Y habiéndose concertado con los obreros en un denario al día, los envió á su viña.

And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

When he had agreed with the laborers for a denarius a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

Ed essendo uscito fuora circa all'ora terza, ne vide degli altri, che se ne stavano per la piazza senza far nulla;

Y saliendo cerca de la hora de las tres, vió otros que estaban en la plaza ociosos;

And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

E disse loro: Andate anche voi nella mia vigna, e darovvi quel, che sarà di ragione.

And said unto them; Go ye also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and whatever is right I will give you.’ So they went their way.

E quegli andarono. Uscì anche di bel nuovo circa l'ora sesta, e la nona, e fece l'istesso.

Salió otra vez cerca de las horas sexta y nona, é hizo lo mismo.

Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

Circa l'undecima poi uscì, e trovonne degli altri, che stavano a vedere, e disse loro: Perché state qui tutto il giorno in ozio?

Y saliendo cerca de la hora undécima, halló otros que estaban ociosos; y díceles: ¿Por qué estáis aquí todo el día ociosos?

And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and saith unto them, Why stand ye here all the day idle?

About the eleventh hour he went out and found others standing idle. He said to them, ‘Why do you stand here all day idle?’

Quelli risposero: Perché nissuno ci ha presi a giornata. Ed egli disse loro: Andate anche voi nella mia vigna.

Dícenle: Porque nadie nos ha ajustado. Díceles: Id también vosotros á la viña, y recibiréis lo que fuere justo.

They say unto him, Because no man hath hired us. He saith unto them, Go ye also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall ye receive.

“They said to him, ‘Because no one has hired us.’ “He said to them, ‘You also go into the vineyard, and you will receive whatever is right.’

Venuta la sera, il padron della vigna disse al suo fattore: Chiama i lavoratori, e paga ad essi la mercede, cominciando dagli ultimi sino ai primi.

Y cuando fué la tarde del día, el señor de la viña dijo á su mayordomo: Llama á los obreros y págales el jornal, comenzando desde los postreros hasta los primeros.

So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard saith unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

“When evening had come, the lord of the vineyard said to his manager, ‘Call the laborers and pay them their wages, beginning from the last to the first.’

Venuti adunque quelli, che erano andati circa l'undecima ora, ricevettero un denaro per ciascheduno.

Y viniendo los que habían ido cerca de la hora undécima, recibieron cada uno un denario.

And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

“When those who were hired at about the eleventh hour came, they each received a denarius.

Venuti poi anche i primi si pensarono di ricever di più: ma ebbero anch'essi un denaro per uno.

Y viniendo también los primeros, pensaron que habían de recibir más; pero también ellos recibieron cada uno un denario.

But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

When the first came, they supposed that they would receive more; and they likewise each received a denarius.

E ricevutolo mormoravano contro del padre di famiglia,

Y tomándolo, murmuraban contra el padre de la familia,

And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

When they received it, they murmured against the master of the household,

Dicendo: Questi ultimi hanno lavorato un'ora, e gli hai uguagliati a noi, che abbiam portato il peso della giornata, e del caldo.

Diciendo: Estos postreros sólo han trabajado una hora, y los has hecho iguales á nosotros, que hemos llevado la carga y el calor del día.

Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and thou hast made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

saying, ‘These last have spent one hour, and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the day and the scorching heat!’

Ma egli rispose a uno di loro, e disse: Amico, io non ti fo ingiustizia e non hai tu convenuto meco a un denaro?

Y él respondiendo, dijo á uno de ellos: Amigo, no te hago agravio; ¿no te concertaste conmigo por un denario?

But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do thee no wrong: didst not thou agree with me for a penny?

“But he answered one of them, ‘Friend, I am doing you no wrong. Didn’t you agree with me for a denarius?

Piglia il tuo, e vattene: io voglio dare anche a quest'ultimo quanto a te.

Toma lo que es tuyo, y vete; mas quiero dar á este postrero, como á ti.

Take that thine is, and go thy way: I will give unto this last, even as unto thee.

Take that which is yours, and go your way. It is my desire to give to this last just as much as to you.

Non posso io adunque far quel, che mi piace? od è cattivo il tuo occhio, perch'io son buono?

¿No me es lícito á mí hacer lo que quiero con lo mío? ó ¿es malo tu ojo, porque yo soy bueno?

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

Isn’t it lawful for me to do what I want to with what I own? Or is your eye evil, because I am good?’

Così saranno ultimi i primi, e primi gli ultimi: imperocché molti sono i chiamati, ma pochi gli eletti.

Así los primeros serán postreros, y los postreros primeros: porque muchos son llamados, mas pocos escogidos.

So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

So the last will be first, and the first last. For many are called, but few are chosen.”

E andandosene Gesù a Gerusalemme, presi in disparte i dodici discepoli, disse loro:

Y subiendo Jesús á Jerusalem, tomó sus doce discípulos aparte en el camino, y les dijo:

And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,

As Jesus was going up to Jerusalem, he took the twelve disciples aside, and on the way he said to them,

Ecco, che andiamo a Gerusalemme, e il Figliuolo dell'uomo sarà dato nelle mani de' principi de' sacerdoti, e degli Scribi, e lo condanneranno a morte:

He aquí subimos á Jerusalem, y el Hijo del hombre será entregado á los príncipes de los sacerdotes y á los escribas, y le condenarán á muerte;

Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

“Behold, we are going up to Jerusalem, and the Son of Man will be delivered to the chief priests and scribes, and they will condemn him to death,

E lo daranno in balia de' gentili per essere schernito, e flagellato, e crocifisso, ed egli risorgerà il terzo giorno.

Y le entregarán á los Gentiles para que le escarnezcan, y azoten, y crucifiquen; mas al tercer día resucitará.

And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

and will hand him over to the Gentiles to mock, to scourge, and to crucify; and the third day he will be raised up.”

Allora si accostò a lui la madre de' figliuoli di Zebedeo co' suoi figliuoli, adorandolo, e domandandogli qualche cosa.

Entonces se llegó á él la madre de los hijos de Zebedeo con sus hijos, adorándole, y pidiéndole algo.

Then came to him the mother of Zebedee’s children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, kneeling and asking a certain thing of him.

Ed egli le disse: Che vuoi tu? Quella gli rispose: Ordina, che seggano questi due miei figliuoli, uno alla destra, l'altro alla tua sinistra nel tuo regno.

Y él le dijo: ¿Qué quieres? Ella le dijo: Di que se sienten estos dos hijos míos, el uno á tu mano derecha, y el otro á tu izquierda, en tu reino.

And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

He said to her, “What do you want?” She said to him, “Command that these, my two sons, may sit, one on your right hand and one on your left hand, in your Kingdom.”

Gesù rispose, e disse: Non sapete quello, che domandiate. Potete voi bere il calice, che berrò io? Gli risposer: Possiamo.

Entonces Jesús respondiendo, dijo: No sabéis lo que pedís: ¿podéis beber el vaso que yo he de beber, y ser bautizados del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado? Y ellos le dicen: Podemos.

But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

But Jesus answered, “You don’t know what you are asking. Are you able to drink the cup that I am about to drink, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with?” They said to him, “We are able.”

Disse loro: Si, che berrete il calice mio: ma per quel, che è di sedere alla mia destra, o alla sinistra, non tocca a me il concedervelo, ma (sarà) per quegli, a' quali è stato preparato dal Padre mio.

Y él les dice: A la verdad mi vaso beberéis, y del bautismo de que yo soy bautizado, seréis bautizados; mas el sentaros á mi mano derecha y á mi izquierda, no es mío darlo, sino á aquellos para quienes está aparejado de mi Padre.

And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

He said to them, “You will indeed drink my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with; but to sit on my right hand and on my left hand is not mine to give, but it is for whom it has been prepared by my Father.”

Udito ciò i dieci, si adirarono co' due fratelli.

Y como los diez oyeron esto, se enojaron de los dos hermanos.

And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

When the ten heard it, they were indignant with the two brothers.

Ma Gesù chiamatigli a se, disse loro: Voi sapete, che i principi delle nazioni la fan da padroni sopra di esse, e i loro magnati le governano con autorità.

Entonces Jesús llamándolos, dijo: Sabéis que los príncipes de los Gentiles se enseñorean sobre ellos, y los que son grandes ejercen sobre ellos potestad.

But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Ye know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

But Jesus summoned them, and said, “You know that the rulers of the nations lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them.

Non così sarà di voi: ma chiunque vorrà tra di voi essere più grande, sarà vostro ministro:

Mas entre vosotros no será así; sino el que quisiere entre vosotros hacerse grande, será vuestro servidor;

But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

It shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant.

E chi tra di voi vorrà essere il primo, sarò vostro servo:

Y el que quisiere entre vosotros ser el primero, será vuestro siervo:

And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

Whoever desires to be first among you shall be your bondservant,

Siccome il Figliuolo dell'uomo non è venuto per essere servito, ma per servire, e dare la sua vita in redenzione per molti.

Como el Hijo del hombre no vino para ser servido, sino para servir, y para dar su vida en rescate por muchos.

Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

even as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”

E nell'uscir, che facevan di Gerico, andò dietro a lui una gran turba di popolo:

Entonces saliendo ellos de Jericó, le seguía gran compañía.

And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

As they went out from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

Quand'ecco, che due ciechi, i quali stavan a sedere lungo la strada, avendo udito dire, che passava Gesù, alzaron la voce, dicendo: Signore, figliuolo di David, abbi pietà di noi.

Y he aquí dos ciegos sentados junto al camino, como oyeron que Jesús pasaba, clamaron, diciendo: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros.

And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

Behold, two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, cried out, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

Ma il popolo gli sgridava, che, stesser cheti. Eglino però più forte gridavano, dicendo: Signore, figliuolo di David, abbi pietà di noi.

Y la gente les reñía para que callasen; mas ellos clamaban más, diciendo: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de nosotros.

And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

The multitude rebuked them, telling them that they should be quiet, but they cried out even more, “Lord, have mercy on us, you son of David!”

E Gesù soffermossi, e gli chiamò, e disse loro: Che volete, che io vi faccia?

Y parándose Jesús, los llamó, y dijo: ¿Qué queréis que haga por vosotros?

And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

Jesus stood still and called them, and asked, “What do you want me to do for you?”

Signore, risposer essi, che si aprano gli occhi nostri.

Ellos le dicen: Señor, que sean abiertos nuestros ojos.

They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

They told him, “Lord, that our eyes may be opened.”

E Gesù mosso a compassione di essi, toccò i loro occhi: e subito videro, e lo seguitarono. Cristo entra trionfante in Gerusalemme sopra un asina. Caccia dal tempio i negozianti, e risponde a' Farisei offesi del suo trionfo. I discepoli ammirano l'efficacia della parola di Cristo nella ficaia seccata. Virtù della fede. Interrogato intorno alla sua podestà risponde con una interrogazione sopra il battesimo di Giovanni. Parabola de1 due figliuoli, e del padre di famiglia, il cui figliuolo erede è ucciso dai lavoratori della vigna. Il regno di Dìo passerà dagli Ebrei ai gentili.

Entonces Jesús, teniendo misericordia de ellos, les tocó los ojos, y luego sus ojos recibieron la vista; y le siguieron.

So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
