And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James, and John his brother, and bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,

Et il fut transfiguré en leur présence, et son visage brilla comme le soleil, tandis que ses vêtements devinrent blancs comme la lumière.
Y se transfiguró delante de ellos; y resplandeció su rostro como el sol, y sus vestidos fueron blancos como la luz.
And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.
He was changed before them. His face shone like the sun, and his garments became as white as the light.
Et voici, Moïse et Élie leur apparurent, qui conversaient avec lui.
Y he aquí les aparecieron Moisés y Elías, hablando con él.
And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elias talking with him.
Behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them talking with him.
Mais Pierre prenant la parole dit à Jésus : « Seigneur, c'est une bonne chose pour nous que d'être ici ; si tu le veux, je ferai ici trois tentes, une pour toi, et une pour Moïse, et une pour Élie. »
Y respondiendo Pedro, dijo á Jesús: Señor, bien es que nos quedemos aquí: si quieres, hagamos aquí tres pabellones: para ti uno, y para Moisés otro, y otro para Elías.
Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if thou wilt, let us make here three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.
Peter answered and said to Jesus, “Lord, it is good for us to be here. If you want, let’s make three tents here: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”
Comme il parlait encore, voici, une nuée lumineuse les couvrit, et voici, une voix sortant de la nuée dit : « Celui-ci est Mon fils bien-aimé en qui J'ai pris plaisir. Écoutez-le. »
Y estando aún él hablando, he aquí una nube de luz que los cubrió; y he aquí una voz de la nube, que dijo: Este es mi Hijo amado, en el cual tomo contentamiento: á él oid.
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
While he was still speaking, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. Behold, a voice came out of the cloud, saying, “This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased. Listen to him.”
Ce que les disciples ayant ouï, ils tombèrent sur leur visage et furent saisis d'une grande peur.
Y oyendo esto los discípulos, cayeron sobre sus rostros, y temieron en gran manera.
And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.
When the disciples heard it, they fell on their faces, and were very afraid.
Et Jésus s'approcha d'eux, et après les avoir touchés, il dit : « Levez-vous, et n'ayez point peur. »
Entonces Jesús llegando, los tocó, y dijo: Levantaos, y no temáis.
And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

Or, ayant levé les yeux, ils ne virent personne que Jésus lui-même seul.
Y alzando ellos sus ojos, á nadie vieron, sino á solo Jesús.
And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

Et pendant qu'ils descendaient de la montagne, Jésus leur donna ses ordres en disant : « Ne parlez à personne de cette vision, jusques à ce que le fils de l'homme soit ressuscité des morts. »
Y como descendieron del monte, les mandó Jesús, diciendo: No digáis á nadie la visión, hasta que el Hijo del hombre resucite de los muertos.
And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.
As they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus commanded them, saying, “Don’t tell anyone what you saw, until the Son of Man has risen from the dead.”
Et ses disciples lui demandèrent : « Pourquoi donc les scribes disent-ils qu'il faut qu'Élie vienne premièrement ? »
Entonces sus discípulos le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Por qué dicen pues los escribas que es menester que Elías venga primero?
And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
His disciples asked him, saying, “Then why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”
Mais il répliqua : « Il est vrai qu'Élie doit venir, et il rétablira toutes choses ;
Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: A la verdad, Elías vendrá primero, y restituirá todas las cosas.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
Jesus answered them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and will restore all things;
mais je vous déclare qu'Élie est déjà venu, et qu'ils ne l'ont pas reconnu, mais qu'ils ont fait de lui tout ce qu'ils ont voulu ; c'est de la même manière que le fils de l'homme aussi doit souffrir par eux. »
Mas os digo, que ya vino Elías, y no le conocieron; antes hicieron en él todo lo que quisieron: así también el Hijo del hombre padecerá de ellos.
But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
but I tell you that Elijah has come already, and they didn’t recognize him, but did to him whatever they wanted to. Even so the Son of Man will also suffer by them.”
Alors les disciples comprirent que c'était de Jean le baptiste, qu'il leur avait parlé.
Los discípulos entonces entendieron, que les habló de Juan el Bautista.
Then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

et en disant : « Seigneur, aie pitié de mon fils, car il est lunatique et très malade ; en effet, il tombe souvent dans le feu et souvent dans l'eau ;
Y diciendo: Señor, ten misericordia de mi hijo, que es lunático, y padece malamente; porque muchas veces cae en el fuego, y muchas en el agua.
Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatick, and sore vexed: for ofttimes he falleth into the fire, and oft into the water.
“Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is epileptic and suffers grievously; for he often falls into the fire, and often into the water.
je l'ai amené à tes disciples, et ils n'ont pu le guérir. »
Y le he presentado á tus discípulos, y no le han podido sanar.
And I brought him to thy disciples, and they could not cure him.
So I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.”
Et Jésus prenant la parole dit : « O génération incrédule et pervertie ! Jusques à quand serai-je avec vous ? Jusques à quand vous supporterai-je ? Amenez-le-moi ici. »
Y respondiendo Jesús, dijo: ¡Oh generación infiel y torcida! ¿hasta cuándo tengo de estar con vosotros? ¿hasta cuándo os tengo de sufrir? traédmele acá.
Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him hither to me.
Jesus answered, “Faithless and perverse generation! How long will I be with you? How long will I bear with you? Bring him here to me.”
Et Jésus lui fit des remontrances, et le démon sortit de lui, et dès ce moment l'enfant fut guéri.
Y Jesús le reprendió, y salió el demonio de él; y el mozo fué sano desde aquella hora.
And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.
Jesus rebuked the demon, and it went out of him, and the boy was cured from that hour.
Alors les disciples s'étant approchés de Jésus à l'écart lui dirent : « Pourquoi n'avons-nous pas pu le chasser nous-mêmes ? »
Entonces, llegándose los discípulos á Jesús, aparte, dijeron: ¿Por qué nosotros no lo pudimos echar fuera?
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?
Then the disciples came to Jesus privately, and said, “Why weren’t we able to cast it out?”
Et il leur dit : « A cause de votre peu de foi ; car en vérité je vous le déclare, si vous aviez de la foi comme un grain de moutarde, vous diriez à cette montagne : transporte-toi d'ici là, et elle se transporterait, et rien ne vous serait impossible. [
Y Jesús les dijo: Por vuestra incredulidad; porque de cierto os digo, que si tuviereis fe como un grano de mostaza, diréis á este monte: Pásate de aquí allá: y se pasará: y nada os será imposible.
And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
He said to them, “Because of your unbelief. For most certainly I tell you, if you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will tell this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.
Mais cette espèce-là ne sort que par la prière et le jeûne »]
Mas este linaje no sale sino por oración y ayuno.
Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting.
But this kind doesn’t go out except by prayer and fasting.”
Or, pendant qu'ils se trouvaient réunis en Galilée, Jésus leur dit : « Le fils de l'homme va être livré aux mains des hommes,
Y estando ellos en Galilea, Jesús les dijo: El Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres,
And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:
While they were staying in Galilee, Jesus said to them, “The Son of Man is about to be delivered up into the hands of men,
et ils le feront mourir, et le troisième jour il ressuscitera. » Et ils furent dans une grande tristesse.
Y le matarán; mas al tercer día resucitará. Y ellos se entristecieron en gran manera.
And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.
and they will kill him, and the third day he will be raised up.” They were exceedingly sorry.
Or, lorsqu'ils furent arrivés à Capharnaoum, les percepteurs des deux drachmes s'approchèrent de Pierre et lui dirent : « Votre maître ne paie-t-il pas les deux drachmes ? »
Y como llegaron á Capernaum, vinieron á Pedro los que cobraban las dos dracmas, y dijeron: ¿Vuestro Maestro no paga las dos dracmas?
And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
When they had come to Capernaum, those who collected the didrachma coins came to Peter, and said, “Doesn’t your teacher pay the didrachma?”
Il dit : « Oui, » et dès qu'il fut entré dans la maison Jésus le prévint en disant : « Que t'en semble, Simon ? Sur qui les rois de la terre lèvent-ils des impôts ou une capitation ? Sur leurs fils, ou sur les étrangers ?
El dice: Sí. Y entrando él en casa, Jesús le habló antes, diciendo: ¿Qué te parece, Simón? Los reyes de la tierra, ¿de quién cobran los tributos ó el censo? ¿de sus hijos ó de los extraños?
He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
He said, “Yes.” When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?”
Et lorsqu'il eut dit : « Sur les étrangers, » Jésus lui dit : « Ainsi donc les fils en sont exempts ;
Pedro le dice: De los extraños. Jesús le dijo: Luego los hijos son francos.
Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
Peter said to him, “From strangers.” Jesus said to him, “Therefore the children are exempt.
mais afin de ne pas les scandaliser, va-t-en à la mer, jette un hameçon et prends le premier poisson venu, et, après lui avoir ouvert la bouche, tu trouveras un statère. Prends-le, et donne-le-leur pour moi et pour toi. »
Mas porque no los escandalicemos, ve á la mar, y echa el anzuelo, y el primer pez que viniere, tómalo, y abierta su boca, hallarás un estatero: tómalo, y dáselo por mí y por ti.
Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.
But, lest we cause them to stumble, go to the sea, cast a hook, and take up the first fish that comes up. When you have opened its mouth, you will find a stater coin. Take that, and give it to them for me and you.”
