Er sagte: "Doch." Kaum war er in das Haus gekommen, als Jesus ihm zuvorkam mit der Frage: "Was meinst du, Simon, von wem nehmen die Könige der Erde Zoll und Steuer, von ihren Söhnen oder von den Fremden?"
El dice: Sí. Y entrando él en casa, Jesús le habló antes, diciendo: ¿Qué te parece, Simón? Los reyes de la tierra, ¿de quién cobran los tributos ó el censo? ¿de sus hijos ó de los extraños?
He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
He said, “Yes.” When he came into the house, Jesus anticipated him, saying, “What do you think, Simon? From whom do the kings of the earth receive toll or tribute? From their children, or from strangers?”
