E andarono a trovarlo i Farisei, e i Sadducei per tentarlo: e lo pregarono di far loro vedere qualche prodigio dal cielo.

Y LLEGÁNDOSE los Fariseos y los Saduceos para tentarle, le pedían que les mostrase señal del cielo.

The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would shew them a sign from heaven.

The Pharisees and Sadducees came, and testing him, asked him to show them a sign from heaven.

Ma egli rispose loro, e disse: Alla sera voi dite: Farà bel tempo, perché il cielo rosseggia.

Mas él respondiendo, les dijo: Cuando es la tarde del día, decís: Sereno; porque el cielo tiene arreboles.

He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

But he answered them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’

E alla mattina: Oggi farà temporale, perché il cielo scuro rosseggia.

Y á la mañana: Hoy tempestad; porque tiene arreboles el cielo triste. Hipócritas, que sabéis hacer diferencia en la faz del cielo; ¿y en las señales de los tiempos no podéis?

And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times?

In the morning, ‘It will be foul weather today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Hypocrites! You know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but you can’t discern the signs of the times!

Voi sapete dunque distinguere gli aspetti del cielo: e non siete da tanto di distinguere i segni de' tempi. Generazione perversa, e adultera ella chiede un prodigio: né altro prodigio saralle accordato, che quello di Giona profeta. E, lasciati costoro, si parti.

La generación mala y adulterina demanda señal; mas señal no le será dada, sino la señal de Jonás profeta. Y dejándolos, se fué.

A wicked and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

An evil and adulterous generation seeks after a sign, and there will be no sign given to it, except the sign of the prophet Jonah.” He left them and departed.

Ora i suoi discepoli in andando a traghettare il lago si erano scordati di prender del pane.

Y viniendo sus discípulos de la otra parte del lago, se habían olvidado de tomar pan.

And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

The disciples came to the other side and had forgotten to take bread.

E disse loro Gesù: Tenete aperti gli occhi, e guardatevi dal lievito de' Farisei, e Sadducei.

Y Jesús les dijo: Mirad, y guardaos de la levadura de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos.

Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Jesus said to them, “Take heed and beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Ma essi stavan pensosi dentro di se, e dicevano: Non abbiaci preso del pane.

Y ellos pensaban dentro de sí, diciendo: Esto dice porque no tomamos pan.

And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

They reasoned among themselves, saying, “We brought no bread.”

Il che conoscendo Gesù: disse: Perché state pensosi dentro di voi, gente di poca fede, a motivo che non avete pane?

Y entendiéndolo Jesús, les dijo: ¿Por qué pensáis dentro de vosotros, hombres de poca fe, que no tomasteis pan?

Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O ye of little faith, why reason ye among yourselves, because ye have brought no bread?

Jesus, perceiving it, said, “Why do you reason among yourselves, you of little faith, because you have brought no bread?

Non riflettete ancora, né vi ricordate dei cinque pani per i cinquemila uomini, e quante misure ne raccoglieste?

¿No entendéis aún, ni os acordáis de los cinco panes entre cinco mil hombres, y cuántos cestos alzasteis?

Do ye not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

Don’t you yet perceive or remember the five loaves for the five thousand, and how many baskets you took up,

Né dei sette pani per li quattro mila uomini, e quante sporte ne raccoglieste?

¿Ni de los siete panes entre cuatro mil, y cuántas espuertas tomasteis?

Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?

or the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many baskets you took up?

Come non comprendete, che non per riguardo al pane io vi ho detto: Guardatevi dal fermento de' Farisei, e de' Sadducei?

¿Cómo es que no entendéis que no por el pan os dije, que os guardaseis de la levadura de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos?

How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

How is it that you don’t perceive that I didn’t speak to you concerning bread? But beware of the yeast of the Pharisees and Sadducees.”

Allora intesero, come non aveva egli detto di guardarsi dal fermento del pane, ma dalla dottrina de' Farisei, e de' Sadducei.

Entonces entendieron que no les había dicho que se guardasen de la levadura de pan, sino de la doctrina de los Fariseos y de los Saduceos.

Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

Then they understood that he didn’t tell them to beware of the yeast of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.

Gesù poi essendo andato dalle parti di Cesarea di Filippo, interrogò i suoi discepoli, dicendo: Chi dicono gli uomini, che sia il Figliuolo dell'uomo?

Y viniendo Jesús á las partes de Cesarea de Filipo, preguntó á sus discípulos, diciendo: ¿Quién dicen los hombres que es el Hijo del hombre?

When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

Now when Jesus came into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, “Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?”

Ed essi risposero: Altri dicono, egli è Giovanni Batista; altri Elia; altri Geremia, o alcun de' profeti.

Y ellos dijeron: Unos, Juan el Bautista; y otros, Elías; y otros, Jeremías, ó alguno de los profetas.

And they said, Some say that thou art John the Baptist: some, Elias; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

They said, “Some say John the Baptizer, some, Elijah, and others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”

E Gesù disse loro: E voi chi dite voi, ch'io mi sia?

El les dice: Y vosotros, ¿quién decís que soy?

He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am?

He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?”

Rispose Simone Pietro, e disse: Tu se' il Cristo, il figliuolo di Dio vivo.

Y respondiendo Simón Pedro, dijo: Tú eres el Cristo, el Hijo del Dios viviente.

And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.”

E Gesù rispose, e dissegli: Beato sei tu, Simone Bar Jona: perché non la carne, e il sangue te lo ha rivelato, ma il Padre mio, che è ne' cieli.

Entonces, respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Bienaventurado eres, Simón, hijo de Jonás; porque no te lo reveló carne ni sangre, mas mi Padre que está en los cielos.

And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-jona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

Jesus answered him, “Blessed are you, Simon Bar Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my Father who is in heaven.

E io dico a te, che tu sei Pietro, e sopra questa pietra edificherò la mia Chiesa, e le porte dell'inferno non avran forza contro di lei.

Mas yo también te digo, que tú eres Pedro, y sobre esta piedra edificaré mi iglesia; y las puertas del infierno no prevalecerán contra ella.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

I also tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my assembly, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.

E a te io darò le chiavi del regno de' cieli: e qualunque cosa avrai legata sopra la terra, sarà legata anche ne' cieli: e qualunque cosa avrai sciolta sopra la terra, sarà sciolta anche ne' cieli.

Y á ti daré las llaves del reino de los cielos; y todo lo que ligares en la tierra será ligado en los cielos; y todo lo que desatares en la tierra será desatado en los cielos.

And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

I will give to you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven; and whatever you release on earth will have been released in heaven.”

Allora ordinò a' suoi discepoli, che non dicessero a nissuno, ch'ei fosse Gesù il Cristo.

Entonces mandó á sus discípulos que á nadie dijesen que él era Jesús el Cristo.

Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

Then he commanded the disciples that they should tell no one that he was Jesus the Christ.

Da indi in poi Gesù cominciò a indicare a' suoi discepoli, come bisognava, ch'egli andasse a Gerusalemme, e ivi molte cose soffrisse dai seniori, e dagli Scribi, e dai principi dei sacerdoti, e fosse ucciso, e risuscitasse il terzo giorno.

Desde aquel tiempo comenzó Jesús á declarar á sus discípulos que le convenía ir á Jerusalem, y padecer mucho de los ancianos, y de los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y de los escribas; y ser muerto, y resucitar al tercer día.

From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

From that time, Jesus began to show his disciples that he must go to Jerusalem and suffer many things from the elders, chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and the third day be raised up.

E Pietro, presolo a parte, cominciò a riprenderlo dicendo: Non sia mai vero, o Signore: non avverrà a te simil cosa.

Y Pedro, tomándolo aparte, comenzó á reprenderle, diciendo: Señor, ten compasión de ti: en ninguna manera esto te acontezca.

Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee.

Peter took him aside and began to rebuke him, saying, “Far be it from you, Lord! This will never be done to you.”

E rivoltosi a Pietro gli disse: Ritirati da me, Satana: tu mi sei di scandalo; perché non hai la saggezza di Dio, ma quella degli uomini.

Entonces él, volviéndose, dijo á Pedro: Quítate de delante de mí, Satanás; me eres escándalo; porque no entiendes lo que es de Dios sino lo que es de los hombres.

But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

But he turned and said to Peter, “Get behind me, Satan! You are a stumbling block to me, for you are not setting your mind on the things of God, but on the things of men.”

Allora Gesù disse a' suoi discepoli: Chi vuoi venire dietro a me, rinneghi se stesso, dia di mano alla sua croce, e mi siegua.

Entonces Jesús dijo á sus discípulos: Si alguno quiere venir en pos de mí, niéguese á sí mismo, y tome su cruz, y sígame.

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “If anyone desires to come after me, let him deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me.

Imperocché chi vorrà salvare l'anima sua, la perderà: e chi perderà l'anima sua per amor mio, la troverà.

Porque cualquiera que quisiere salvar su vida, la perderá, y cualquiera que perdiere su vida por causa de mí, la hallará.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, and whoever will lose his life for my sake will find it.

Imperocché che giova all'uomo di guadagnare tutto il mondo, se poi perda l'anima? o che darà l'uomo in cambio dell'anima sua?

Porque ¿de qué aprovecha al hombre, si granjeare todo el mundo, y perdiere su alma? O ¿qué recompensa dará el hombre por su alma?

For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life? Or what will a man give in exchange for his life?

Imperocché il Figliuolo dell'uomo verrà nella gloria del Padre suo co' suoi Angeli: e allora renderà a ciascheduno secondo il suo operato.

Porque el Hijo del hombre vendrá en la gloria de su Padre con sus ángeles, y entonces pagará á cada uno conforme á sus obras.

For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

For the Son of Man will come in the glory of his Father with his angels, and then he will give to everyone according to his deeds.

In verità io vi dico: Tra coloro, che son qui presenti, vi sono di quelli, che non morranno, prima che veggano il Figliuol dell'uomo entrar nel suo regno. Trasfigurazione di Cristo. Giovanni è Elia. Del fanciullo lunatico, cui non avean potuto sanare gli Apostoli. Efficacia della fede, dell'orazione, e del digiuno. Predice la sua passione, e paga il tributo.

De cierto os digo: hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte, hasta que hayan visto al Hijo del hombre viniendo en su reino.

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste of death until they see the Son of Man coming in his Kingdom.”
