1DA kommen zu Jesus von Jerusalem her Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrte und sagen:
2Warum übertreten deine Jünger die Überlieferung der Alten? Denn sie waschen ihre Hände nicht, wenn sie Speise zu sich nehmen. (a) Lu 11:38
3Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Warum übertretet hinwiederum ihr das Gebot Gottes eurer Überlieferung wegen?
4Denn Gott hat geboten: "Ehre deinen Vater und deine Mutter!" und: "Wer Vater oder Mutter flucht, soll des Todes sterben." (a) 2Mo 20:12; 21:17; 5Mo 5:16; Spr 23:22
5Ihr aber sagt: Wer zu Vater oder Mutter spricht: Was dir von mir zugute kommen könnte, soll (vielmehr) eine Opfergabe (an den Tempel) sein -
6der braucht seinen Vater und seine Mutter nicht zu ehren; und so habt ihr das Wort Gottes eurer Überlieferung wegen ungültig gemacht.
7Ihr Heuchler, trefflich hat über euch Jesaja geweissagt:
8"Dieses Volk ehrt mich mit den Lippen, doch ihr Herz ist weit weg von mir. (a) Jes 29:13
9Vergeblich aber verehren sie mich, indem sie Lehren vortragen, welche Gebote von Menschen sind." (a) Kol 2:22; Tit 1:14
10UND er rief das Volk herbei und sprach zu ihnen: Höret zu und verstehet!
11Nicht was in den Mund hineinkommt, verunreinigt den Menschen, sondern was aus dem Mund herauskommt, das verunreinigt den Menschen. (a) Apg 10:15; Rö 14:14; 1Ti 4:4; Jak 3:6
12Da traten die Jünger herzu und sagten zu ihm: Weisst du, dass die Pharisäer Anstoss genommen haben, als sie das Wort hörten?
13Er aber antwortete und sprach: Jede Pflanze, die nicht mein himmlischer Vater gepflanzt hat, wird ausgerissen werden. (a) Joh 15:2; Apg 5:38
14Lasset sie; sie sind blinde Führer von Blinden. Wenn aber ein Blinder einen Blinden führt, werden beide in eine Grube fallen. (a) Mt 23:16 24; Lu 6:39; Rö 2:19
15Da antwortete Petrus und sagte zu ihm: Erkläre uns das Gleichnis!
16Er aber sprach: Seid auch ihr noch unverständig?
17Merkt ihr nicht, dass alles, was in den Mund hineinkommt, in den Bauch gelangt und an seinen Ort ausgeschieden wird?
18Was aber aus dem Mund herauskommt, das kommt aus dem Herzen hervor, und das verunreinigt den Menschen.
19Denn aus dem Herzen kommen böse Gedanken, Mord, Ehebruch, Unzucht, Diebstahl, falsches Zeugnis, Lästerung. (a) 1Mo 6:5; Rö 7:18
20Das ist es, was den Menschen verunreinigt; aber essen mit ungewaschenen Händen verunreinigt den Menschen nicht.
21UND Jesus ging von dort weg und zog sich in die Gegend von Tyrus und Sidon zurück.
22Und siehe, eine kanaanäische Frau kam aus jenem Gebiet her und schrie laut: Erbarme dich meiner, Herr, du Sohn Davids! meine Tochter wird von einem Dämon schwer geplagt.
23Er aber antwortete ihr nicht ein Wort. Und seine Jünger traten hinzu und baten ihn: Fertige sie ab, denn sie schreit uns nach!
24Doch er antwortete und sprach: Ich bin nur zu den verlornen Schafen des Hauses Israel gesandt. (a) Mt 10:6; Lu 4:25-27
25Da kam sie, warf sich vor ihm nieder und sagte: Herr, hilf mir!
26Er aber antwortete und sprach: Es ist nicht recht, den Kindern das Brot zu nehmen und es den Hunden hinzuwerfen.
27Sie aber sagte: Gewiss, Herr, auch die Hunde zehren ja (nur) von den Brosamen, die vom Tisch ihrer Herren fallen.
28Da antwortete Jesus und sprach zu ihr: O Weib, dein Glaube ist gross; dir geschehe, wie du willst! Und ihre Tochter war geheilt von jener Stunde an. (a) Mt 8:10 13
29UND indem Jesus von da weiterging, kam er an den galiläischen See, und er stieg auf den Berg und setzte sich dort. (a) Mt 5:1; Mr 7:31
30Und es kam eine grosse Volksmenge zu ihm, die hatten Lahme, Krüppel, Blinde, Stumme und viele andre bei sich und legten sie zu seinen Füssen nieder. Und er heilte sie,
31sodass das Volk sich wunderte, da es sah, dass Stumme redeten, Krüppel gesund waren und Lahme gingen und Blinde sahen; und sie priesen den Gott Israels.
32JESUS aber rief seine Jünger zu sich und sprach: Mich jammert das Volk, denn sie verharren schon drei Tage bei mir und haben nichts zu essen; und ich will sie nicht nüchtern entlassen, damit sie nicht unterwegs erliegen. (a) Mt 14:14
33Und die Jünger sagen zu ihm: Woher sollen wir in der Wüste so viele Brote nehmen, um so viel Volk zu sättigen?
34Und Jesus sagt zu ihnen: Wieviel Brote habt ihr? Sie aber sagten: Sieben und ein paar kleine Fische.
35Da hiess er das Volk sich auf die Erde lagern,
36nahm die sieben Brote und die Fische, sprach das Dankgebet darüber, brach sie und gab sie den Jüngern, die Jünger aber (gaben sie) der Volksmenge.
37Und alle assen und wurden satt. Und sie hoben auf, was an Brocken übrigblieb, sieben Handkörbe voll.
38Die aber gegessen hatten, waren viertausend Männer, ohne die Frauen und Kinder.
39Und nachdem er die Volksmenge entlassen hatte, stieg er ins Schiff und kam in das Gebiet von Magdala. (1) andre, sehr nahmhafte alte Textzeugen haben: "von Magadan", das sonst nicht bekannt ist.

1ENTONCES llegaron á Jesús ciertos escribas y Fariseos de Jerusalem, diciendo:
2¿Por qué tus discípulos traspasan la tradición de los ancianos? porque no se lavan las manos cuando comen pan.
3Y él respondiendo, les dijo: ¿Por qué también vosotros traspasáis el mandamiento de Dios por vuestra tradición?
4Porque Dios mandó, diciendo: Honra al padre y á la madre, y, El que maldijere al padre ó á la madre, muera de muerte.
5Mas vosotros decís: Cualquiera que dijere al padre ó á la madre: Es ya ofrenda mía á Dios todo aquello con que pudiera valerte;
6No deberá honrar á su padre ó á su madre con socorro. Así habéis invalidado el mandamiento de Dios por vuestra tradición.
7Hipócritas, bien profetizó de vosotros Isaías, diciendo:
8Este pueblo de labios me honra; mas su corazón lejos está de mí.
9Mas en vano me honran, enseñando doctrinas y mandamientos de hombres.
10Y llamando á sí las gentes, les dijo: Oid, y entended:
11No lo que entra en la boca contamina al hombre; mas lo que sale de la boca, esto contamina al hombre.
12Entonces llegándose sus discípulos, le dijeron: ¿Sabes que los Fariseos oyendo esta palabra se ofendieron?
13Mas respondiendo él, dijo: Toda planta que no plantó mi Padre celestial, será desarraigada.
14Dejadlos: son ciegos guías de ciegos; y si el ciego guiare al ciego, ambos caerán en el hoyo.
15Y respondiendo Pedro, le dijo: Decláranos esta parábola.
16Y Jesús dijo: ¿Aun también vosotros sois sin entendimiento?
17¿No entendéis aún, que todo lo que entra en la boca, va al vientre, y es echado en la letrina?
18Mas lo que sale de la boca, del corazón sale; y esto contamina al hombre.
19Porque del corazón salen los malos pensamientos, muertes, adulterios, fornicaciones, hurtos, falsos testimonios, blasfemias.
20Estas cosas son las que contaminan al hombre: que comer con las manos por lavar no contamina al hombre.
21Y saliendo Jesús de allí, se fué á las partes de Tiro y de Sidón.
22Y he aquí una mujer Cananea, que había salido de aquellos términos, clamaba, diciéndole: Señor, Hijo de David, ten misericordia de mí; mi hija es malamente atormentada del demonio.
23Mas él no le respondió palabra. Entonces llegándose sus discípulos, le rogaron, diciendo: Despáchala, pues da voces tras nosotros.
24Y él respondiendo, dijo: No soy enviado sino á las ovejas perdidas de la casa de Israel.
25Entonces ella vino, y le adoró, diciendo: Señor, socórreme.
26Y respondiendo él, dijo: No es bien tomar el pan de los hijos, y echarlo á los perrillos.
27Y ella dijo: Sí, Señor; mas los perrillos comen de las migajas que caen de la mesa de sus señores.
28Entonces respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Oh mujer, grande es tu fe; sea hecho contigo como quieres. Y fué sana su hija desde aquella hora.
29Y partido Jesús de allí, vino junto al mar de Galilea: y subiendo al monte, se sentó allí.
30Y llegaron á él muchas gentes, que tenían consigo cojos, ciegos, mudos, mancos, y otros muchos enfermos: y los echaron á los pies de Jesús, y los sanó:
31De manera que se maravillaban las gentes, viendo hablar los mudos, los mancos sanos, andar los cojos, y ver los ciegos: y glorificaron al Dios de Israel.
32Y Jesús llamando á sus discípulos, dijo: Tengo lástima de la gente, que ya hace tres días que perseveran conmigo, y no tienen qué comer; y enviarlos ayunos no quiero, porque no desmayen en el camino.
33Entonces sus discípulos le dicen: ¿Dónde tenemos nosotros tantos panes en el desierto, que hartemos á tan gran compañía?
34Y Jesús les dice: ¿Cuántos panes tenéis? Y ellos dijeron: Siete, y unos pocos pececillos.
35Y mandó á las gentes que se recostasen sobre la tierra.
36Y tomando los siete panes y los peces, haciendo gracias, partió y dió á sus discípulos; y los discípulos á la gente.
37Y comieron todos, y se hartaron: y alzaron lo que sobró de los pedazos, siete espuertas llenas.
38Y eran los que habían comido, cuatro mil hombres, sin las mujeres y los niños.
39Entonces, despedidas las gentes, subió en el barco: y vino á los términos de Magdalá.

1Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,
2Why do thy disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.
3But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
4For God commanded, saying, Honour thy father and mother: and, He that curseth father or mother, let him die the death.
5But ye say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever thou mightest be profited by me;
6And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition.
7Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying,
8This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
10And he called the multitude, and said unto them, Hear, and understand:
11Not that which goeth into the mouth defileth a man; but that which cometh out of the mouth, this defileth a man.
12Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Knowest thou that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying?
13But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.
14Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.
15Then answered Peter and said unto him, Declare unto us this parable.
16And Jesus said, Are ye also yet without understanding?
17Do not ye yet understand, that whatsoever entereth in at the mouth goeth into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?
18But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.
19For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
21Then Jesus went thence, and departed into the coasts of Tyre and Sidon.
22And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.
23But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.
24But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
25Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children’s bread, and to cast it to dogs.
27And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.
28Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.
29And Jesus departed from thence, and came nigh unto the sea of Galilee; and went up into a mountain, and sat down there.
30And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus’ feet; and he healed them:
31Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the maimed to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.
32Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.
33And his disciples say unto him, Whence should we have so much bread in the wilderness, as to fill so great a multitude?
34And Jesus saith unto them, How many loaves have ye? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.
35And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.
36And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.
37And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken meat that was left seven baskets full.
38And they that did eat were four thousand men, beside women and children.
39And he sent away the multitude, and took ship, and came into the coasts of Magdala.

1Then Pharisees and scribes came to Jesus from Jerusalem, saying,
2“Why do your disciples disobey the tradition of the elders? For they don’t wash their hands when they eat bread.”
3He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?
4For God commanded, ‘Honor your father and your mother,’ and, ‘He who speaks evil of father or mother, let him be put to death.’
5But you say, ‘Whoever may tell his father or his mother, “Whatever help you might otherwise have gotten from me is a gift devoted to God,”
6he shall not honor his father or mother.’ You have made the commandment of God void because of your tradition.
7You hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,
8‘These people draw near to me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9And they worship me in vain, teaching as doctrine rules made by men.’”
10He summoned the multitude, and said to them, “Hear, and understand.
11That which enters into the mouth doesn’t defile the man; but that which proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man.”
12Then the disciples came and said to him, “Do you know that the Pharisees were offended when they heard this saying?”
13But he answered, “Every plant which my heavenly Father didn’t plant will be uprooted.
14Leave them alone. They are blind guides of the blind. If the blind guide the blind, both will fall into a pit.”
15Peter answered him, “Explain the parable to us.”
16So Jesus said, “Do you also still not understand?
17Don’t you understand that whatever goes into the mouth passes into the belly and then out of the body?
18But the things which proceed out of the mouth come out of the heart, and they defile the man.
19For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies.
20These are the things which defile the man; but to eat with unwashed hands doesn’t defile the man.”
21Jesus went out from there and withdrew into the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22Behold, a Canaanite woman came out from those borders and cried, saying, “Have mercy on me, Lord, you son of David! My daughter is severely possessed by a demon!”
23But he answered her not a word. His disciples came and begged him, saying, “Send her away; for she cries after us.”
24But he answered, “I wasn’t sent to anyone but the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
25But she came and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, help me.”
26But he answered, “It is not appropriate to take the children’s bread and throw it to the dogs.”
27But she said, “Yes, Lord, but even the dogs eat the crumbs which fall from their masters’ table.”
28Then Jesus answered her, “Woman, great is your faith! Be it done to you even as you desire.” And her daughter was healed from that hour.
29Jesus departed from there and came near to the sea of Galilee; and he went up on the mountain and sat there.
30Great multitudes came to him, having with them the lame, blind, mute, maimed, and many others, and they put them down at his feet. He healed them,
31so that the multitude wondered when they saw the mute speaking, the injured healed, the lame walking, and the blind seeing—and they glorified the God of Israel.
32Jesus summoned his disciples and said, “I have compassion on the multitude, because they have continued with me now three days and have nothing to eat. I don’t want to send them away fasting, or they might faint on the way.”
33The disciples said to him, “Where could we get so many loaves in a deserted place as to satisfy so great a multitude?”
34Jesus said to them, “How many loaves do you have?” They said, “Seven, and a few small fish.”
35He commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground;
36and he took the seven loaves and the fish. He gave thanks and broke them, and gave to the disciples, and the disciples to the multitudes.
37They all ate and were filled. They took up seven baskets full of the broken pieces that were left over.
38Those who ate were four thousand men, in addition to women and children.
39Then he sent away the multitudes, got into the boat, and came into the borders of Magdala.
