ALS es aber Jesus gehört hatte, zog er sich von dort zu Schiff abseits an einen öden Ort zurück. Und die Volksmenge folgte ihm, als sie es hörte, aus den Städten zu Fuss nach. (a) Mt 4:12

Y oyéndolo Jesús, se apartó de allí en un barco á un lugar descierto, apartado: y cuando las gentes lo oyeron, le siguieron á pie de las ciudades.

When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

Now when Jesus heard this, he withdrew from there in a boat to a deserted place apart. When the multitudes heard it, they followed him on foot from the cities.
