PORQUE he aquí, viene el día ardiente como un horno; y todos los soberbios, y todos los que hacen maldad, serán estopa; y aquel día que vendrá, los abrasará, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, el cual no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
“For behold, the day comes, burning like a furnace, when all the proud and all who work wickedness will be stubble. The day that comes will burn them up,” says the LORD of Armies, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
Pero para ustedes que le temen a mi nombre, el sol de la justicia se levantará con sanidad en sus alas. Ustedes saldrán, y saltarán como becerros del establo.
Mas á vosotros los que teméis mi nombre, nacerá el Sol de justicia, y en sus alas traerá salud: y saldréis, y saltaréis como becerros de la manada.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

Y ustedes atropellarán a los malvados, porque ellos serán ceniza bajo la suela de sus pies en el día que yo actúe," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
Y hollaréis á los malos, los cuales serán ceniza bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día que yo hago, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.

Recuerden las enseñánzas de mi siervo Moisés que le dí en Horeb para todo Israel, los estatutos y las reglas.
Acordaos de la ley de Moisés mi siervo, al cual encargué en Horeb ordenanzas y leyes para todo Israel.
Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

Miren, les enviaré a ustedes a Elías, el profeta, antes de la venida del gran y temible día del SEÑOR.
He aquí, yo os envío á Elías el profeta, antes que venga el día de Jehová grande y terrible.
Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
