1(03-19) Denn siehe, der Tag kommt, brennend wie ein Ofen! Da werden alle Übermütigen und alle, die gottlos handeln, wie Stoppeln sein, und der zukünftige Tag wird sie anzünden, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen, daß ihnen weder Wurzel noch Zweig übrigbleibt.
2(03-20) Euch aber, die ihr meinen Namen fürchtet, soll aufgehen die Sonne der Gerechtigkeit und Heilung unter ihren Flügeln; und ihr werdet herauskommen und hüpfen wie Kälber aus dem Stall!
3(03-21) Und ihr werdet die Gottlosen zertreten; denn sie werden wie Asche sein unter euren Fußsohlen am Tage, da ich handle, spricht der HERR der Heerscharen.
4(03-22) Seid eingedenk des Gesetzes Moses, meines Knechtes, das ich ihm auf dem Horeb für ganz Israel befohlen habe, der Pflichten und der Rechte!
5(03-23) Siehe, ich sende euch den Propheten Elia, ehe denn da komme der große und furchtbare Tag des HERRN;
6(03-24) der soll das Herz der Väter den Kindern und das Herz der Kinder wieder ihren Vätern zuwenden, damit ich bei meinem Kommen das Land nicht mit dem Banne schlagen muß!

1PORQUE he aquí, viene el día ardiente como un horno; y todos los soberbios, y todos los que hacen maldad, serán estopa; y aquel día que vendrá, los abrasará, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, el cual no les dejará ni raíz ni rama.
2Mas á vosotros los que teméis mi nombre, nacerá el Sol de justicia, y en sus alas traerá salud: y saldréis, y saltaréis como becerros de la manada.
3Y hollaréis á los malos, los cuales serán ceniza bajo las plantas de vuestros pies, en el día que yo hago, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
4Acordaos de la ley de Moisés mi siervo, al cual encargué en Horeb ordenanzas y leyes para todo Israel.
5He aquí, yo os envío á Elías el profeta, antes que venga el día de Jehová grande y terrible.
6El convertirá el corazón de los padres á los hijos, y el corazón de los hijos á los padres: no sea que yo venga, y con destrucción hiera la tierra.

1For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
2But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
3And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts.
4Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

1“For behold, the day comes, burning like a furnace, when all the proud and all who work wickedness will be stubble. The day that comes will burn them up,” says the LORD of Armies, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.
2But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out and leap like calves of the stall.
3You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make,” says the LORD of Armies.
4“Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.
5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of the LORD comes.
6He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”
