"Mirad, estoy a punto de enviar a mi mensajero, y él preparará el camino delante de mí. Y el SEÑOR, a quién buscan, vendrá de repente a su templo. Y el mensajero del pacto en quien ustedes se deleitan, mirad, él vendrá," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
HE aquí, yo envío mi mensajero, el cual preparará el camino delante de mí: y luego vendrá á su templo el Señor á quien vosotros buscáis, y el ángel del pacto, á quien deseáis vosotros. He aquí viene, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.
Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
“Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me! The Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple. Behold, the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, is coming!” says the LORD of Armies.
Pero, ¿quién será capaz de soportar el día de su llegada? ¿Y quién será capaz de estar de pie cuando el aparezca? Porque el será como un fuego que refina o como un jabón de lavar ropa.
¿Y quién podrá sufrir el tiempo de su venida? ó ¿quién podrá estar cuando él se mostrará? Porque él es como fuego purificador, y como jabón de lavadores.
But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:
“But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner’s fire, and like launderers’ soap;
Él se sentará como un refinador y purificador de plata, y el purificará a los hijos de Leví. Él los refinará como oro y plata, y ellos traerán ofrendas de justicia al SEÑOR.
Y sentarse ha para afinar y limpiar la plata: porque limpiará los hijos de Leví, los afinará como á oro y como á plata; y ofrecerán á Jehová ofrenda con justicia.
And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the LORD an offering in righteousness.

Entonces las ofrendas de Judá y Jerusalén serán agradables al SEÑOR, como en los días antiguos, y como en años antiguos.
Y será suave á Jehová la ofrenda de Judá y de Jerusalem, como en los días pasados, y como en los años antiguos.
Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD, as in the days of old, and as in former years.

"Entonces me acercaré a ustedes para juicio. Yo me volveré testigo rápidamente contra los hechiceros, adúlteros, los falsos testigos, y en contra de esos quienes oprimen al trabajador contratado en sus pagos, esos quienes oprimen a la viuda y al huérfano, en contra de esos quienes devuelven al extranjero, y en contra de esos que no me honran," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
Y llegarme he á vosotros á juicio; y seré pronto testigo contra los hechiceros y adúlteros; y contra los que juran mentira, y los que detienen el salario del jornalero, de la viuda, y del huérfano, y los que hacen agravio al extranjero, no teniendo temor de mí, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.
And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the LORD of hosts.

"Porque Yo, el SEÑOR, no he cambiado, por lo tanto ustedes, hijos de Jacob, no han llegado a su fin.
Porque yo Jehová, no me mudo; y así vosotros, hijos de Jacob, no habéis sido consumidos.
For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
“For I, the LORD, don’t change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.
Desde los días de sus padres ustedes se han apartado de mis ordenanzas y no las han mantenido. Regresen a mí, y Yo me regresaré a ustedes," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos. "Pero ustedes dicen: '¿ Cómo regresaremos?'
Desde los días de vuestros padres os habéis apartado de mis leyes, y no las guardasteis. Tornaos á mí, y yo me tornaré á vosotros, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos. Mas dijisteis: ¿En qué hemos de tornar?
Even from the days of your fathers ye are gone away from mine ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. But ye said, Wherein shall we return?
From the days of your fathers you have turned away from my ordinances and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you,” says the LORD of Armies. “But you say, ‘How shall we return?’
¿Una persona robará a Dios? Si, ustedes me estan robando. Pero ustedes dicen: '¿Cómo te hemos robado?' En diezmos y ofrendas.
¿Robará el hombre á Dios? Pues vosotros me habéis robado. Y dijisteis: ¿En qué te hemos robado? Los diezmos y las primicias.
Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.
Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed you?’ In tithes and offerings.
Ustedes están malditos con maldición, por que me estan robando, la nación entera.
Malditos sois con maldición, porque vosotros, la nación toda, me habéis robado.
Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.
You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation.
Traígan el diezmo completo al almacén, para que haya comida en mi casa. Y pruébenme ahora en esto," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, "Si yo no les abro las ventanas del cielo y derramo una bendición sobre ustedes hasta que ya no haya espacio para ella.
Traed todos los diezmos al alfolí, y haya alimento en mi casa; y probadme ahora en esto, dice Jehová de los ejércitos, si no os abriré las ventanas de los cielos, y vaciaré sobre vosotros bendición hasta que sobreabunde.
Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

Otra vez hablaré en contra de esos quienes destruyen sus cosechas, para que ellos no destruyan la cosecha en su tierra. Sus viñedos en los campos no perderán su fruto," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
Increparé también por vosotros al devorador, y no os corromperá el fruto de la tierra; ni vuestra vid en el campo abortará, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
“All nations shall call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land,” says the LORD of Armies.
"Sus palabras en contra de mí han sido fuertes," dice el SEÑOR. "Pero ustedes dicen: '¿Qué hemos dicho entre nosotros en tu contra?'
Vuestras palabras han prevalecido contra mí, dice Jehová. Y dijisteis: ¿Qué hemos hablado contra ti?
Your words have been stout against me, saith the LORD. Yet ye say, What have we spoken so much against thee?
“Your words have been harsh against me,” says the LORD. “Yet you say, ‘What have we spoken against you?’
Ustedes han dicho: 'Es inútil servirle a Dios. ¿Qué ganacía hay en que hayamos guardado sus ordenanzas o caminemos con tristeza por hablar contra el SEÑOR de los ejércitos?
Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir á Dios; ¿y qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos tristes delante de Jehová de los ejércitos?
Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?
You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of Armies?
Entonces ahora nosotros llamamos a los orgullosos bendecidos. Los que hacen maldad no solo prósperan, pero hasta prueban a Dios y escapan.'"
Decimos pues ahora, que bienaventurados los soberbios, y también que los que hacen impiedad son los prosperados: bien que tentaron á Dios, escaparon.
And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.

Entonces esos que le temen al SEÑOR hablen el uno con el otro. El SEÑOR presta atención y escucha, y un libro de memorias fue escrito ante el, acerca de esos quienes le temen al SEÑOR y honran su nombre.
Entonces los que temen á Jehová hablaron cada uno á su compañero; y Jehová escuchó y oyó, y fué escrito libro de memoria delante de él para los que temen á Jehová, y para los que piensan en su nombre.
Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
Then those who feared the LORD spoke one with another; and the LORD listened and heard, and a book of memory was written before him for those who feared the LORD and who honored his name.
"Ellos serán míos," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, "Mi propia posesión atesorada, en el día que actué. Yo me compadeceré de ellos, como un hombre que se compadece por su propio hijo que le obedece.
Y serán para mí especial tesoro, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, en el día que yo tengo de hacer: y perdonarélos como el hombre que perdona á su hijo que le sirve.
And they shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him.
They shall be mine,” says the LORD of Armies, “my own possession in the day that I make. I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.
Entonces una vez más ustedes verán la diferencia entre los justo y los malos, entre uno que adora a Dios y uno que no le adora.
Entonces os tornaréis, y echaréis de ver la diferencia entre el justo y el malo, entre el que sirve á Dios y el que no le sirve.
Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not.
Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who doesn’t serve him.
