Malaquías 3

E voi dite: Che abbiam noi detto contro di te? Voi avete detto: Invano si serve a Dio: E di qual vantaggio è per noi l'avere osservati i suoi comandamenti, e l'aver battute maninconiosamente le vie del Signore degli eserciti?

Habéis dicho: Por demás es servir á Dios; ¿y qué aprovecha que guardemos su ley, y que andemos tristes delante de Jehová de los ejércitos?

Ye have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of hosts?

You have said, ‘It is vain to serve God,’ and ‘What profit is it that we have followed his instructions and that we have walked mournfully before the LORD of Armies?
