Y ahora, ustedes sacerdotes, esto les ordeno.
AHORA pues, oh sacerdotes, á vosotros es este mandamiento.
And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you.
“Now, you priests, this commandment is for you.
Si ustedes no escuchan, y si ustedes no inclinan su corazón para darme honor a mí," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos, "entonces les enviaré una maldición a ustedes, y yo maldeciré sus bendiciones. Ciertamente, yo los maldije, porque ustedes no están poniéndo mi mandato en su corazón.
Si no oyereis, y si no acordareis dar gloria á mi nombre, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos, enviaré maldición sobre vosotros, y maldeciré vuestras bendiciones; y aun las he maldecido, porque no lo ponéis en vuestro corazón.
If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

Miren, estoy cerca de rechazar a sus descendientes, y Yo les hecharé excremento en sus rostros, el excremento de sus festivales, y el los enviaré lejos con él.

Y ustedes sabrán que Yo les he dado esta orden, y mi pacto continuará estando con Leví," dice el SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
Y sabréis que yo os envié este mandamiento, para que fuese mi pacto con Leví, ha dicho Jehová de los ejércitos.

Mi pacto con él era vida y paz, y YO se los dí a él; YO le dí temor, y él tuvo temor de mí, y él estuvo maravillado de mi nombre.

Porque los labios de un sacerdote deben mantener el conocimiento y la gente debe buscar instrucción de su boca, porque él es mensajero del SEÑOR de los Ejércitos.

Mas vosotros os habéis apartado del camino; habéis hecho tropezar á muchos en la ley; habéis corrompido el pacto de Leví, dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

"Entonces yo también, les he hecho despreciables y viles ante todo el pueblo, porque ustedes no han mantendido mis órdenes, pero en su lugar han enseñado a la gente diferentes cosas de acuerdo a cúan importantes son."
Por tanto, yo también os torné viles y bajos á todo el pueblo, según que vosotros no habéis guardado mis caminos, y en la ley tenéis acepción de personas.

¿Acaso no hay un Padre para todos nosotros? ¿No nos ha creado un solo Dios? ¿Por qué somos incrédulos cada hombre contra su hermano, profanando el pacto de nuestros padres?

Judá ha sido incrédulo. Una cosa asquerosa ha sido cometida en Israel y en Jerusalén. Porque Judá ha profanado el lugar santo del SEÑOR, el cual el ama, y se ha casado con la hija de un dios extranjero.

Que el SEÑOR corte de las tiendas de Jacob al hombre que haga esto, aquel que está despierto y al que responda, aún si él está trayéndole ofrenda al SEÑOR de los ejércitos.
Jehová talará de las tiendas de Jacob al hombre que hiciere esto, al que vela, y al que responde, y al que ofrece presente á Jehová de los ejércitos.
The LORD will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto the LORD of hosts.

Y también hacen esto: ustedes cubren el altar del SEÑOR con lágrimas, con llanto y quejas, porque todavía el no mira la ofrenda o la acepta con favor de sus manos.
Y esta otra vez haréis cubrir el altar de Jehová de lágrimas, de llanto, y de clamor; así que no miraré más á presente, para aceptarlo con gusto de vuestra mano.

Pero ustedes dicen: "¿Por qué el no lo hace?" Porque el SEÑOR fue testigo entre tú y la esposa de tu juventud, contra quien has sido desleal, aunque ella fue tu compañera y tu esposa por pacto.
Mas diréis: ¿Por qué? Porque Jehová ha atestiguado entre ti y la mujer de tu mocedad, contra la cual tú has sido desleal, siendo ella tu compañera, y la mujer de tu pacto.
Yet ye say, Wherefore? Because the LORD hath been witness between thee and the wife of thy youth, against whom thou hast dealt treacherously: yet is she thy companion, and the wife of thy covenant.

¿No los hizo el uno, con una porción de su Espíritu? ¿Y por qué los hizo uno? Porque el buscaba un descendiente de Dios. Así que guárdense en su espíritu, y no le sean infieles a la esposa de su juventud.
Pues qué ¿no hizo él uno solo aunque tenía la abundancia del espíritu? ¿Y por qué uno? Para que procurara una simiente de Dios. Guardaos pues en vuestros espíritus, y contra la mujer de vuestra mocedad no seáis desleales.

Porque Jehová Dios de Israel ha dicho que él aborrece que sea repudiada; y cubra la iniquidad con su vestido, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos. Guardaos pues en vuestros espíritus, y no seáis desleales.

Han cansado al SEÑOR con sus palabras. Pero ustedes dicen: ¿Cómo le hemos cansado?" Cuando ustedes dicen: "Todo el que hace mal es bueno en los ojos del SEÑOR, y el se agrada en ellos," o "¿Dónde está el Dios de la justicia?"
Habéis hecho cansar á Jehová con vuestras palabras. Y diréis: ¿En qué le hemos cansado? Cuando decís: Cualquiera que mal hace agrada á Jehová, y en los tales toma contentamiento: de otra manera, ¿dónde está el Dios de juicio?
Ye have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet ye say, Wherein have we wearied him? When ye say, Every one that doeth evil is good in the sight of the LORD, and he delighteth in them; or, Where is the God of judgment?
