Malaquías 2

Il mio patto con lui fu di vita, e di pace, ed io gli diedi il mio timore, ed egli mi temè, e tremava al mio nome.

Mi pacto fué con él de vida y de paz, las cuales cosas yo le dí por el temor; porque me temió, y delante de mi nombre estuvo humillado.

My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
