8Und wenn ihr ein blindes Tier als Opfer darbringt, so ist das nach eurer Meinung nichts Schlimmes, und wenn ihr ein lahmes oder krankes darbringt, so ist das auch nichts Schlimmes! Bringe es doch einmal deinem Statthalter zum Geschenk - ob er dir dann wohl günstig gesinnt sein oder dir Huld erweisen wird! spricht Jahwe der Heerscharen.

8Y cuando ofrecéis el animal ciego para sacrificar, ¿no es malo? asimismo cuando ofrecéis el cojo ó el enfermo, ¿no es malo? Preséntalo pues á tu príncipe: ¿acaso se agradará de ti, ó le serás acepto? dice Jehová de los ejércitos.

8And if ye offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and if ye offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto thy governor; will he be pleased with thee, or accept thy person? saith the LORD of hosts.

8When you offer the blind for sacrifice, isn’t that evil? And when you offer the lame and sick, isn’t that evil? Present it now to your governor! Will he be pleased with you? Or will he accept your person?” says the LORD of Armies.
