39Quando o dono da casa, que era fariseu, viu o que estava acontecendo e quem era a mulher, disse consigo mesmo: “Isso prova que Jesus não é um profeta, porque se fosse ele saberia quem está tocando nele e que espécie de mulher ela é: uma ‘pecadora’ ”.

39Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him: for she is a sinner.
