Lucas 5

E mentre intorno a lui si affollavano le turbe per udire la parola di Dio, egli se ne stava presso il lago di Genesaret.

Y ACONTECIÓ, que estando él junto al lago de Genezaret, las gentes se agolpaban sobre él para oir la palabra de Dios.

And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

Now while the multitude pressed on him and heard the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.

E vide due barche ferme a riva del lago: e ne erano usciti i pescatori, e lavavano le reti.

Y vió dos barcos que estaban cerca de la orilla del lago: y los pescadores, habiendo descendido de ellos, lavaban sus redes.

And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.

Ed entrato in una barca, che era quella di Simone, lo richiese di allontanarsi alquanto da terra. E stando a sedere insegnava dalla barca alle turbe.

Y entrado en uno de estos barcos, el cual era de Simón, le rogó que lo desviase de tierra un poco; y sentándose, enseñaba desde el barco á las gentes.

And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon’s, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

He entered into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the multitudes from the boat.

E finito che ebbe di parlare, disse a Simone: Avanzati in alto, e gettate le vostre reti per la pesca.

Y como cesó de hablar, dijo á Simón: Tira á alta mar, y echad vuestras redes para pescar.

Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”

E Simone gli rispose, e disse: Maestro, essendoci noi affaticati per tutta la notte, non abbiamo preso nulla: nondimeno sulla tua parola getterò la rete.

Y respondiendo Simón, le dijo: Maestro, habiendo trabajado toda la noche, nada hemos tomado; mas en tu palabra echaré la red.

And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word I will let down the net.

Simon answered him, “Master, we worked all night and caught nothing; but at your word I will let down the net.”

E fatto che ebber questo, chiusero, gran quantità di pesci, e si rompeva la loro rete.

Y habiéndolo hecho, encerraron gran multitud de pescado, que su red se rompía.

And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.

E fecero segno ai compagni, che erano in altra barca, che andassero ad aiutargli. E andarono, ed empirono ambedue le barchette, di modo che quasi si affondavano.

E hicieron señas á los compañeros que estaban en el otro barco, que viniesen á ayudarles; y vinieron, y llenaron ambos barcos, de tal manera que se anegaban.

And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

Veduto ciò Simon Pietro si gettò alle ginocchia di Gesù, dicendo: Partiti da me, Signore, perché io son uom peccatore.

Lo cual viendo Simón Pedro, se derribó de rodillas á Jesús, diciendo: Apártate de mí, Señor, porque soy hombre pecador.

When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

But Simon Peter, when he saw it, fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord.”

Imperocché ed egli, e quanti si trovavan con lui, erano restati stupefatti della presa, che avevano fatta di pesci:

Porque temor le había rodeado, y á todos los que estaban con él, de la presa de los peces que habían tomado;

For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;

E lo stesso era di Giacomo, e di Giovanni, figliuoli di Zebedeo, compagni di Simone. E Gesù disse a Simone: Non temere: da ora innanzi prenderai degli uomini.

Y asimismo á Jacobo y á Juan, hijos de Zebedeo, que eran compañeros de Simón. Y Jesús dijo á Simón: No temas: desde ahora pescarás hombres.

And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth thou shalt catch men.

and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. Jesus said to Simon, “Don’t be afraid. From now on you will be catching people alive.”

E tirate a riva le barche, abbandonata ogni cosa, lo seguitarono.

Y como llegaron á tierra los barcos, dejándolo todo, le siguieron.

And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.

E avvenne, che trovandosi Gesù in una città, eccoti un uomo coperto di lebbra, il quale veduto Gesù, si gettò boccone per terra, e lo pregò, dicendo: Signore, se vuoi, tu puoi mondarmi.

Y aconteció que estando en una ciudad, he aquí un hombre lleno de lepra, el cual viendo á Jesús, postrándose sobre el rostro, le rogó, diciendo: Señor, si quieres, puedes limpiarme.

And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

While he was in one of the cities, behold, there was a man full of leprosy. When he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

Ed egli stesa la mano, lo toccò, dicendo: Lo voglio: sii mondato. E subitamente sparì da lui la lebbra.

Entonces, extendiendo la mano, le tocó diciendo: Quiero: sé limpio. Y luego la lepra se fué de él.

And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be thou clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

He stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately the leprosy left him.

Ed ei gli comandò di non farne parola con nessuno: Ma va (disse) fatti vedere al sacerdote, e fa l'offerta per la tua purgazione, come Mosè ha ordinato per loro testimonianza.

Y él le mandó que no lo dijese á nadie: Mas ve, díjole, muéstrate al sacerdote, y ofrece por tu limpieza, como mandó Moisés, para testimonio á ellos.

And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

He commanded him to tell no one, “But go your way and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.”

E vie più dilatavasi la rinomanza di lui: e si radunavano folte turbe per udirlo, e per esser guarite da' loro malori.

Empero tanto más se extendía su fama: y se juntaban muchas gentes á oir y ser sanadas de sus enfermedades.

But so much the more went there a fame abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

But the report concerning him spread much more, and great multitudes came together to hear and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

Ma egli si ritirava in luoghi solitari, e faceva orazione.

Mas él se apartaba á los desiertos, y oraba.

And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

E avvenne, che un giorno egli sedeva insegnando. Ed eranvi a sedere dei Farisei, e dei dottori della legge, venuti da tutti i castelli della Galilea, e della Giudea, e da Gerusalemme: e la virtù del Signore era per dare ad essi salute.

Y aconteció un día, que él estaba enseñando, y los Fariseos y doctores de la ley estaban sentados, los cuales habían venido de todas las aldeas de Galilea, y de Judea y Jerusalem: y la virtud del Señor estaba allí para sanarlos.

And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judæa, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

On one of those days, he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting by who had come out of every village of Galilee, Judea, and Jerusalem. The power of the Lord was with him to heal them.

Quand'eccoti degli uomini, che portavano sopra un letticciuolo un paralitico, e cercavano di metterlo dentro affine di presentarlo a lui.

Y he aquí unos hombres, que traían sobre un lecho un hombre que estaba paralítico; y buscaban meterle, y ponerle delante de él.

And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

Behold, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before Jesus.

E non trovando la via di introdurvelo a causa della turba, salirono sul tetto, e scoperte le tegole, lo calarono giù in mezzo col suo letticciuolo dinanzi a Gesù.

Y no hallando por donde meterle á causa de la multitud, subieron encima de la casa, y por el tejado le bajaron con el lecho en medio, delante de Jesús;

And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

Not finding a way to bring him in because of the multitude, they went up to the housetop and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the middle before Jesus.

De' quali veduta la fede, egli disse: O uomo, sono a te rimessi i tuoi peccati.

El cual, viendo la fe de ellos, le dice: Hombre, tus pecados te son perdonados.

And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee.

Seeing their faith, he said to him, “Man, your sins are forgiven you.”

E gli Scribi, e i Farisei cominciarono a pensare, e dire: Chi è costui, che dice delle bestemmie? Chi può rimettere i peccati fuori del solo Dio?

Entonces los escribas y los Fariseos comenzaron á pensar, diciendo: ¿Quién es éste que habla blasfemias? ¿Quién puede perdonar pecados sino sólo Dios?

And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

Ma Gesù, conosciuti i lor pensamenti, rispose ad essi, e disse: Che andate voi pensando in cuor vostro?

Jesús entonces, conociendo los pensamientos de ellos, respondiendo les dijo: ¿Qué pensáis en vuestros corazones?

But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts?

But Jesus, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, “Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?

Che è più facile il dire: Ti sono rimessi i tuoi peccati; ovvero il dire: Sorgi, e cammina?

¿Qué es más fácil, decir: Tus pecados te son perdonados, ó decir: Levántate y anda?

Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk?

Which is easier to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Arise and walk’?

Or affinchè sappiate, che il Figliuolo dell'uomo ha podestà sopra la terra di rimettere i peccati, (disse al paralitico): Io tel comando, sorgi, prendi il tuo letticciuolo, e vattene a casa tua.

Pues para que sepáis que el Hijo del hombre tiene potestad en la tierra de perdonar pecados, (dice al paralítico): A ti digo, levántate, toma tu lecho, y vete á tu casa.

But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house.

But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins,” he said to the paralyzed man, “I tell you, arise, take up your cot, and go to your house.”

E subitamente alzatosi in presenza di essi, prese il letticciuolo, in cui giaceva: e andossene a casa sua, glorificando Dio.

Y luego, levantándose en presencia de ellos, y tomando aquel en que estaba echado, se fué á su casa, glorificando á Dios.

And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

E tutti restarono stupefatti, e glorificavano Dio. E furon ricolmi di timore, dicendo: Mirabili cose abbiamo vedute quest'oggi.

Y tomó espanto á todos, y glorificaban á Dios; y fueron llenos de temor, diciendo: Hemos visto maravillas hoy.

And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, “We have seen strange things today.”

Dopo di ciò usci, e vide un pubblicano per nome Levi, che sedeva a banco, e gli disse: Seguimi.

Y después de estas cosas salió, y vió á un publicano llamado Leví, sentado al banco de los públicos tributos, y le dijo: Sígueme.

And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

After these things he went out and saw a tax collector named Levi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, “Follow me!”

E quegli, abbandonata ogni cosa, si alzò, e lo seguitò.

Y dejadas todas las cosas, levantándose, le siguió.

And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

He left everything, and rose up and followed him.

E fecegli Levi un gran banchetto in casa sua: e vi si trovò gran numero di pubblicani, e di altra gente, la quale era a tavola con essi.

E hizo Leví gran banquete en su casa; y había mucha compañía de publicanos y de otros, los cuales estaban á la mesa con ellos.

And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

Levi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a great crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.

E i Farisei, e i loro Scribi mormoravan, dicendo ai discepoli di lui: Per qual motivo mangiate, e bevete voi co' pubblicani, e co' peccatori?

Y los escribas y los Fariseos murmuraban contra sus discípulos, diciendo: ¿Por qué coméis y bebéis con los publicanos y pecadores?

But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do ye eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

Their scribes and the Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, “Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?”

Ma Gesù rispose, e disse loro: Non han bisogno del medico i sani, ma i malati.

Y respondiendo Jesús, les dijo: Los que están sanos no necesitan médico, sino los que están enfermos.

And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

Jesus answered them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.

Non sono' venuto a chiamare i giusti, ma i peccatori a penitenza.

No he venido á llamar justos, sino pecadores á arrepentimiento.

I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Ma quelli dissero a lui: Per qual motivo i discepoli di Giovanni, come pure quelli de' Farisei, digiunano spesso, e fanno orazione: e i tuoi mangiano, e bevono?

Entonces ellos le dijeron: ¿Por qué los discípulos de Juan ayunan muchas veces y hacen oraciones, y asimismo los de los Fariseos, y tus discípulos comen y beben?

And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but thine eat and drink?

They said to him, “Why do John’s disciples often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink?”

Ed ei disse loro: Potete voi far si, che digiunino i compagni dello sposo, mentre lo sposo è con essi?

Y él les dijo: ¿Podéis hacer que los que están de bodas ayunen, entre tanto que el esposo está con ellos?

And he said unto them, Can ye make the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

He said to them, “Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast while the bridegroom is with them?

Ma tempo verrà, che sarà tolto ad essi lo sposo; e allora al che digiuneranno in que' giorni.

Empero vendrán días cuando el esposo les será quitado: entonces ayunarán en aquellos días.

But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days.”

Disse loro oltre di ciò una similitudine: Nissuno attacca a un abito vecchio un pezzo di panno nuovo: altrimenti il nuovo guasta il vecchio, e non fa lega la pezza del nuovo col vecchio.

Y les decía también una parábola: Nadie mete remiendo de paño nuevo en vestido viejo; de otra manera el nuevo rompe, y al viejo no conviene remiendo nuevo.

And he spake also a parable unto them; No man putteth a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new maketh a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agreeth not with the old.

He also told a parable to them. “No one puts a piece from a new garment on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.

E nissuno mette vin nuovo in otri vecchi: altrimenti il vin nuovo, rotti gli otri, si versa, e gli otri vanno in malora.

Y nadie echa vino nuevo en cueros viejos; de otra manera el vino nuevo romperá los cueros, y el vino se derramará, y los cueros se perderán.

And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

No one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled and the skins will be destroyed.

Ma vuolsi il vino nuovo mettere in otri nuovi, e quello, e questi si conservano.

Mas el vino nuevo en cueros nuevos se ha de echar; y lo uno y lo otro se conserva.

But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins, and both are preserved.

E nissuno, che beve vin vecchio, vuole a un tratto del nuovo; conciossiachè dice: il vecchio è migliore. Scusa i discepoli, che coglievano delle spighe in giorno di Sabato: e in un altro sabato risana una mano secca. Dà ai dodici eletti il nome di Apostoli: e con essi, e con gran turba di gente stando in mia pianura insegna le beatitudini, e altri consigli, e precetti Evangelici. Del bruscolo nell'occhio del fratello, e del buonore cattivo arbore, che si conoscono dai frutti. Chi ascolta le parole di Cristo, a che si paragoni, quando le ponga in esecuzione, e a che, quando non le metta in pratica.

Y ninguno que bebiere del añejo, quiere luego el nuevo; porque dice: El añejo es mejor.

No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

No man having drunk old wine immediately desires new, for he says, ‘The old is better.’”
