El diablo le dijo a Él: "Si Tú eres el Hijo de Dios, manda que estas rocas se conviertan en pan."
Entonces el diablo le dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, di á esta piedra que se haga pan.
And the devil said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.
The devil said to him, “If you are the Son of God, command this stone to become bread.”
Jesús le contestó a él: "Esta escrito: 'EL HOMBRE NO VIVIRÁ DE PAN SOLAMENTE.'"
Y Jesús respondiéndole, dijo: Escrito está: Que no con pan solo vivirá el hombre, mas con toda palabra de Dios.
And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

Entonces el diablo estaba dirigiendo a Jesús a un lugar alto y él le mostró a Él todos los reinos del mundo en un instante de tiempo.
Y le llevó el diablo á un alto monte, y le mostró en un momento de tiempo todos los reinos de la tierra.
And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

El diablo le dijo a Él: "Yo te daré toda esta autoridad y todo su esplendor, pues ellos han sido dados a mí y yo puedo darlos a quien yo quiera.
Y le dijo el diablo: A ti te daré toda esta potestad, y la gloria de ellos; porque á mí es entregada, y á quien quiero la doy:
And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.
The devil said to him, “I will give you all this authority and their glory, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I want.
Por lo tanto, si Tú te postras y me adoras a mí, será tuyo."
Pues si tú adorares delante de mí, serán todos tuyos.
If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.
If you therefore will worship before me, it will all be yours.”
Pero Jesús le contestó y dijo a él: "Está escrito: 'TU ADORARÁS AL SEÑOR TU DIOS Y TU SERVIRÁS SÓLO A ÉL.'"
Y respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Vete de mí, Satanás, porque escrito está: A tu Señor Dios adorarás, y á él solo servirás.
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.
Jesus answered him, “Get behind me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and you shall serve him only.’”
Luego, el diablo dirigió a Jesús a Jerusalén y lo puso en el punto más alto del edificio del templo y le dijo a Él: "Si Tú eres el Hijo de Dios, tírate de aquí.
Y le llevó á Jerusalem, y púsole sobre las almenas del templo, y le dijo: Si eres Hijo de Dios, échate de aquí abajo:
And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

Pues, escrito está: 'EL MANDARÁ A SUS ÁNGELES PARA CUIDAR DE TI, PARA PROTEGERTE',
Porque escrito está: Que á sus ángeles mandará de ti, que te guarden;
For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:
for it is written, ‘He will put his angels in charge of you, to guard you;’
y 'ELLOS TE LEVANTARÁN EN SUS MANOS, PARA QUE TU NO GOLPEES TUS PIES SOBRE UNA PIEDRA.'"
Y en las manos te llevarán, porque no dañes tu pie en piedra.
And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Y contestándole a él, Jesús le dijo: "Está dicho: 'NO PONGAS AL SEÑOR TU DIOS A PRUEBA.'"
Y respondiendo Jesús, le dijo: Dicho está: No tentarás al Señor tu Dios.
And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Cuando el diablo había terminado de tentar a Jesús, él se fue y lo dejó hasta otro tiempo.

"EL ESPÍRITU DEL SEÑOR ESTÁ SOBRE MÍ, PORQUE ÉL ME HA UNGIDO PARA DECIR LAS BUENAS NUEVAS A LOS POBRES. ÉL ME HA ENVIADO A PROCLAMAR LIBERTAD A LOS CAUTIVOS Y A RECOBRAR LA VISTA A LOS CIEGOS, A LIBERTAR A AQUELLOS QUIENES ESTÁN OPRIMIDOS,
El Espíritu del Señor es sobre mí, por cuanto me ha ungido para dar buenas nuevas á los pobres: me ha enviado para sanar á los quebrantados de corazón; para pregonar á los cautivos libertad, y á los ciegos vista; para poner en libertad á los quebrantados:
The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

Luego Él enrolló el manuscrito, lo dio de vuelta al asistente y se sentó. Los ojos de todos en la sinagoga estaban fijados en Él.
Y rollando el libro, lo dió al ministro, y sentóse: y los ojos de todos en la sinagoga estaban fijos en él.
And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Él comenzó a hablarles a ellos: "Hoy esta Escritura se ha cumplido en su audiencia."
Y comenzó á decirles: Hoy se ha cumplido esta Escritura en vuestros oídos.
And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.
He began to tell them, “Today, this Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
Todos allí fueron testigos de lo que Él dijo y todos estaban asombrados de las palabras con gracia que habían salido de su boca. Ellos estaban diciendo: "Este es el hijo de José, ¿no?"
Y todos le daban testimonio, y estaban maravillados de las palabras de gracia que salían de su boca, y decían: ¿No es éste el hijo de José?
And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph’s son?
All testified about him and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth; and they said, “Isn’t this Joseph’s son?”
Él les dijo a ellos: "Ciertamente ustedes dirán este proverbio: "Médico, cúrate a ti mismo. Lo que sea que hayamos oído que tú hiciste en Capernaúm, haz lo mismo en tu ciudad."
Y les dijo: Sin duda me diréis este refrán: Médico, cúrate á ti mismo: de tantas cosas que hemos oído haber sido hechas en Capernaum, haz también aquí en tu tierra.
And he said unto them, Ye will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal thyself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in thy country.
He said to them, “Doubtless you will tell me this proverb, ‘Physician, heal yourself! Whatever we have heard done at Capernaum, do also here in your hometown.’”
Pero Él dijo: "Ciertamente Yo les digo a ustedes, ningún profeta es bienvenido en su propia ciudad.
Y dijo: De cierto os digo, que ningún profeta es acepto en su tierra.
And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.
He said, “Most certainly I tell you, no prophet is acceptable in his hometown.
Pero Yo les digo en verdad, que habían muchas viudas en Israel durante el tiempo de Elías, cuando el cielo se cerró por tres años y medio, cuando una hambruna vino sobre toda la tierra.
Mas en verdad os digo, que muchas viudas había en Israel en los días de Elías, cuando el cielo fué cerrado por tres años y seis meses, que hubo una grande hambre en toda la tierra;
But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
But truly I tell you, there were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the sky was shut up three years and six months, when a great famine came over all the land.
Pero Elías no fue enviado a ninguna de ellas, pero sólo a Sarepta en Sidón, a una viuda viviendo allí.
Pero á ninguna de ellas fué enviado Elías, sino á Sarepta de Sidón, á una mujer viuda.
But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.
Elijah was sent to none of them, except to Zarephath, in the land of Sidon, to a woman who was a widow.
Y allí habían muchos leprosos en Israel durante el tiempo de Elías el profeta, pero ninguno de ellos fue sanado excepto Naamán el Sirio."
Y muchos leprosos había en Israel en tiempo del profeta Eliseo; mas ninguno de ellos fué limpio, sino Naamán el Siro.
And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

Toda las personas en la sinagoga se llenaron de ira cuando escucharon estas cosas.
Entonces todos en la sinagoga fueron llenos de ira, oyendo estas cosas;
And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,
They were all filled with wrath in the synagogue as they heard these things.
Se levantaron y lo forzaron a salir de la ciudad y lo dirigieron al precipicio en el cual su ciudad fue construida, para que ellos pudieran tirarlo por el precipicio.
Y levantándose, le echaron fuera de la ciudad, y le llevaron hasta la cumbre del monte sobre el cual la ciudad de ellos estaba edificada, para despeñarle.
And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.
They rose up, threw him out of the city, and led him to the brow of the hill that their city was built on, that they might throw him off the cliff.
Pero Él pasó por el medio de ellos y fue a otro lugar.

Ellos estaban asombrados en su enseñanza, porque Él habló con autoridad.
Y se maravillaban de su doctrina, porque su palabra era con potestad.
And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word was with power.

Ahora, en la sinagoga, había un hombre que tenía el espíritu de un demonio inmundo y él gritaba en alta voz:
Y estaba en la sinagoga un hombre que tenía un espíritu de un demonio inmundo, el cual exclamó á gran voz,
And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,
In the synagogue there was a man who had a spirit of an unclean demon; and he cried out with a loud voice,
" ¡Ah! ¿Qué tenemos nosotros que hacer contigo, Jesús de Nazaret? ¿Haz venido a destruirnos? ¡Yo sé quien eres- Tú eres el Santo de Dios!"
Diciendo: Déjanos, ¿qué tenemos contigo, Jesús Nazareno? ¿has venido á destruirnos? Yo te conozco quién eres, el Santo de Dios.
Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God.
saying, “Ah! what have we to do with you, Jesus of Nazareth? Have you come to destroy us? I know who you are: the Holy One of God!”
Jesús reprendió al demonio, diciendo: "¡No hables y sal de él!" Cuando el demonio había lanzado al hombre al suelo en medio de ellos, él salió de él, y no lo dañó en ninguna manera.
Y Jesús le increpó, diciendo: Enmudece, y sal de él. Entonces el demonio, derribándole en medio, salió de él, y no le hizo daño alguno.
And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.
Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down in the middle of them, he came out of him, having done him no harm.
Toda la gente estaba muy asombrada y ellos continuaban hablando sobre eso los unos con los otros. Ellos dijeron: "¿Qué clase de palabras son éstas? Pues Él manda a los espíritus impuros con autoridad y poder y ellos salen."
Y hubo espanto en todos, y hablaban unos á otros, diciendo: ¿Qué palabra es ésta, que con autoridad y potencia manda á los espíritus inmundos, y salen?
And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out.
Amazement came on all and they spoke together, one with another, saying, “What is this word? For with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, and they come out!”
Así que, noticias de Él comenzaron a esparcirse a todas partes de la región de alrededor.
Y la fama de él se divulgaba de todas partes por todos los lugares de la comarca.
And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.
News about him went out into every place of the surrounding region.
Entonces Jesús salió de la sinagoga y entró a la casa de Simón. Ahora, la suegra de Simón estaba sufriendo con una fiebre alta y ellos suplicaron con Él en nombre de ella.
Y levantándose Jesús de la sinagoga, entró en casa de Simón: y la suegra de Simón estaba con una grande fiebre; y le rogaron por ella.
And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon’s house. And Simon’s wife’s mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.
He rose up from the synagogue and entered into Simon’s house. Simon’s mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him to help her.
Así que, Él se levantó sobre ella y reprendió la fiebre y la fiebre la dejó. Inmediatamente, ella se levantó y comenzó a servirles.

And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

Cuando el sol se ponía, gente le trajeron a Jesús todos los que estaban enfermos con varias clases de enfermedades. Él ponía sus manos sobre ellos, sobre cada uno de ellos y los sanaba.
Y poniéndose el sol, todos los que tenían enfermos de diversas enfermedades, los traían á él; y él, poniendo las manos sobre cada uno de ellos, los sanaba.
Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

Demonios también salieron de muchos de ellos, gritando y diciendo: "¡Tú eres el Hijo de Dios!" Jesús reprendía los demonios y no los dejaba hablar porque ellos sabían que Él era el Cristo.
Y salían también demonios de muchos, dando voces, y diciendo: Tú eres el Hijo de Dios. Mas riñéndolos no les dejaba hablar; porque sabían que él era el Cristo.
And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.
Demons also came out of many, crying out and saying, “You are the Christ, the Son of God!” Rebuking them, he didn’t allow them to speak, because they knew that he was the Christ.
Cuando el alba vino, Él salió a un lugar solitario. Multitudes de gente lo estaban buscando y vinieron al lugar donde Él estaba. Ellos intentaron evitar que se alejara de ellos.
Y siendo ya de día salió, y se fué á un lugar desierto: y las gentes le buscaban, y vinieron hasta él; y le detenían para que no se apartase de ellos.
And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.
When it was day, he departed and went into an uninhabited place and the multitudes looked for him, and came to him, and held on to him, so that he wouldn’t go away from them.
Pero Él les dijo: "Yo también debo predicar la buenas nuevas del reino de Dios a muchas otras ciudades, porque esta es la razón por la cual Yo fui enviado aquí."
Mas él les dijo: Que también á otras ciudades es necesario que anuncie el evangelio del reino de Dios; porque para esto soy enviado.
And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.
But he said to them, “I must preach the good news of God’s Kingdom to the other cities also. For this reason I have been sent.”
Entonces Él continuó predicando en la sinagogas por Judea.
Y predicaba en las sinagogas de Galilea.
And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.
