Lucas 3

Ma stando il popolo in espettazione, e pensando tutti in cuor loro, se mai Giovanni fosse il Cristo:

Y estando el pueblo esperando, y pensando todos de Juan en sus corazones, si él fuese el Cristo,

And as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were the Christ, or not;

As the people were in expectation, and all men reasoned in their hearts concerning John, whether perhaps he was the Christ,
