Der Festtag der Ungesäuerten Brote, den man Paschah heißt, war nahe.

Die Oberpriester und die Schriftgelehrten suchten nach einer passenden Gelegenheit, wie sie Jesus töten könnten; allein sie fürchteten das Volk.

Er ging hin und verhandelte mit den Oberpriestern und den Hauptleuten, wie er ihn an sie überliefern könnte.

Y fué, y habló con los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y con los magistrados, de cómo se lo entregaría.

And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

He went away and talked with the chief priests and captains about how he might deliver him to them.

Und diese freuten sich und wurden einig, ihm Geld zu bieten.

Los cuales se holgaron, y concertaron de darle dinero.

And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

Er sagte zu und suchte eine günstige Gelegenheit, ihn unauffällig an sie auszuliefern.

Y prometió, y buscaba oportunidad para entregarle á ellos sin bulla.

And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

Es kam der Tag der Ungesäuerten Brote, an dem man das Osterlamm zu schlachten hatte.

Y vino el día de los ázimos, en el cual era necesario matar la pascua.

Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

Er sandte Petrus und Johannes mit dem Auftrag fort: "Geht und bereitet uns das Ostermahl, daß wir es essen."

Y envió á Pedro y á Juan, diciendo: Id, aparejadnos la pascua para que comamos.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

Jesus sent Peter and John, saying, “Go and prepare the Passover for us, that we may eat.”

Sie fragten ihn: "Wo willst du, daß wir es bereiten?"

Y ellos le dijeron: ¿Dónde quieres que aparejemos?

And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

They said to him, “Where do you want us to prepare?”

Er sprach zu ihnen: "Seht, wenn ihr in die Stadt kommt, wird euch ein Mann mit einem Wasserkrug begegnen. Folgt ihm in das Haus, in das er geht,

Y él les dijo: He aquí cuando entrareis en la ciudad, os encontrará un hombre que lleva un cántaro de agua: seguidle hasta la casa donde entrare,

And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

He said to them, “Behold, when you have entered into the city, a man carrying a pitcher of water will meet you. Follow him into the house which he enters.

und sagt zu dem Herrn des Hauses: 'Der Meister läßt dich fragen: Wo ist das Gemach, in dem ich mit meinen Jüngern das Ostermahl halten kann?'

Y decid al padre de la familia de la casa: El Maestro te dice: ¿Dónde está el aposento donde tengo de comer la pascua con mis discípulos?

And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

Tell the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says to you, “Where is the guest room, where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’

Er wird euch ein großes Obergemach zeigen, das mit Polstern ausgestattet ist, daselbst bereitet es."

Entonces él os mostrará un gran cenáculo aderezado; aparejad allí.

And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

He will show you a large, furnished upper room. Make preparations there.”

Sie gingen weg und fanden es so, wie er ihnen gesagt hatte, und sie bereiteten das Ostermahl.

Fueron pues, y hallaron como les había dicho; y aparejaron la pascua.

And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

They went, found things as Jesus had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

Als dann die Stunde gekommen war, setzte er sich mit den zwölf Aposteln zu Tisch.

Y como fué hora, sentóse á la mesa, y con él los apóstoles.

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

When the hour had come, he sat down with the twelve apostles.

Er sprach zu ihnen: "Sehnlichst hat es mich danach verlangt, dieses Ostermahl mit euch zu halten, bevor ich leide.

Y les dijo: En gran manera he deseado comer con vosotros esta pascua antes que padezca;

And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

He said to them, “I have earnestly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer,

Ich sage euch: Ich werde es nicht mehr essen, bis es erfüllt ist im Reiche Gottes."

Porque os digo que no comeré más de ella, hasta que se cumpla en el reino de Dios.

For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

for I tell you, I will no longer by any means eat of it until it is fulfilled in God’s Kingdom.”

Dann nahm er einen Kelch, dankte und sprach: "Nehmt hin und teilt ihn unter euch!

Y tomando el vaso, habiendo dado gracias, dijo: Tomad esto, y partidlo entre vosotros;

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide it among yourselves:

He received a cup, and when he had given thanks, he said, “Take this and share it among yourselves,

Ich sage euch: Von jetzt an werde ich nicht mehr von dem Gewächs des Weinstocks trinken, bis das Reich Gottes kommt."

Porque os digo, que no beberé más del fruto de la vid, hasta que el reino de Dios venga.

For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

for I tell you, I will not drink at all again from the fruit of the vine, until God’s Kingdom comes.”

Dann nahm er Brot, dankte, brach es und gab es ihnen mit den Worten: "Das ist mein Leib, der für euch hingegeben wird. Tut dies zu meinem Andenken!"

Y tomando el pan, habiendo dado gracias, partió, y les dió, diciendo: Esto es mi cuerpo, que por vosotros es dado: haced esto en memoria de mí.

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake it, and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

He took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body which is given for you. Do this in memory of me.”

Desgleichen nahm er nach dem Mahle auch den Kelch und sprach: "Dies ist der Kelch, der Neue Bund in meinem Blute, das für euch vergossen wird.

Asimismo también el vaso, después que hubo cenado, diciendo: Este vaso es el nuevo pacto en mi sangre, que por vosotros se derrama.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Likewise, he took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

Doch seht: Die Hand des Verräters ist mit mir auf dem Tische.

Con todo eso, he aquí la mano del que me entrega, conmigo en la mesa.

But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me is with me on the table.

But behold, the hand of him who betrays me is with me on the table.

Der Menschensohn geht zwar hin, wie es bestimmt ist, doch wehe jenem Menschen, durch den er verraten wird."

Y á la verdad el Hijo del hombre va, según lo que está determinado; empero ¡ay de aquel hombre por el cual es entregado!

And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

The Son of Man indeed goes as it has been determined, but woe to that man through whom he is betrayed!”

Da fragten sie einander, wer aus ihnen der sein könnte, der das tun wolle.

Ellos entonces comenzaron á preguntar entre sí, cuál de ellos sería el que había de hacer esto.

And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

They began to question among themselves which of them it was who would do this thing.

Auch gab es bei ihnen Streit darüber, wer unter ihnen der Größte sei.

Y hubo entre ellos una contienda, quién de ellos parecía ser el mayor.

And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

A dispute also arose among them, which of them was considered to be greatest.

Er sprach zu ihnen: "Die Könige der Heidenvölker wollen über sie den Herrn spielen; ihre Mächtigen lassen sich 'Wohltäter' nennen.

Entonces él les dijo: Los reyes de las gentes se enseñorean de ellas; y los que sobre ellas tienen potestad, son llamados bienhechores:

And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

He said to them, “The kings of the nations lord it over them, and those who have authority over them are called ‘benefactors.’

Bei euch soll es aber nicht so sein; vielmehr der Größte unter euch soll wie der Jüngste, der Vorsteher wie der Diener werden.

Mas vosotros, no así: antes el que es mayor entre vosotros, sea como el más mozo; y el que es príncipe, como el que sirve.

But ye shall not be so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

But not so with you. Rather, the one who is greater among you, let him become as the younger, and one who is governing, as one who serves.

Wer ist denn größer? Der zu Tische sitzt oder der aufwartet? Doch wohl der, der zu Tische sitzt. Ich aber bin bei euch als Diener.

Porque, ¿cuál es mayor, el que se sienta á la mesa, ó el que sirve? ¿No es el que se sienta á la mesa? Y yo soy entre vosotros como el que sirve.

For whether is greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

For who is greater, one who sits at the table, or one who serves? Isn’t it he who sits at the table? But I am among you as one who serves.

Ihr habt in meinen Prüfungen mit mir ausgeharrt.

Empero vosotros sois los que habéis permanecido conmigo en mis tentaciones:

Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

“But you are those who have continued with me in my trials.

Und so bestimme ich euch das Reich, so wie mein Vater es mir bestimmt hat.

Yo pues os ordeno un reino, como mi Padre me lo ordenó á mí,

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

I confer on you a kingdom, even as my Father conferred on me,

Ihr sollt in meinem Reich an meinem Tisch essen und trinken; ihr sollt auf Thronen sitzen und die zwölf Stämme Israels regieren."

Para que comáis y bebáis en mi mesa en mi reino, y os sentéis sobre tronos juzgando á las doce tribus de Israel.

That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

that you may eat and drink at my table in my Kingdom. You will sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

Der Herr fuhr fort: "Simon, Simon, siehe, der Satan hat verlangt, daß er euch sieben dürfe wie Weizen.

Dijo también el Señor: Simón, Simón, he aquí Satanás os ha pedido para zarandaros como á trigo;

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat:

The Lord said, “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan asked to have all of you, that he might sift you as wheat,

Ich aber habe für dich gebetet, daß dein Glaube nicht versage. Du hinwieder stärke, wenn du dich wiedergefunden hast, deine Brüder."

Mas yo he rogado por ti que tu fe no falte: y tú, una vez vuelto, confirma á tus hermanos.

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

but I prayed for you, that your faith wouldn’t fail. You, when once you have turned again, establish your brothers.”

Dieser sprach zu ihm: "Herr, ich bin bereit, mit dir in den Kerker und in den Tod zu gehen."

Y él le dijo: Señor, pronto estoy á ir contigo aun á cárcel y á muerte.

And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

He said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death!”

Doch er entgegnete: "Ich sage dir, Petrus, heute nacht noch, vor dem Hahnenschrei, wirst du es dreimal geleugnet haben, mich zu kennen."

Y él dijo: Pedro, te digo que el gallo no cantará hoy antes que tú niegues tres veces que me conoces.

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

He said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will by no means crow today until you deny that you know me three times.”

Alsdann sprach er zu ihnen: "Als ich euch aussandte ohne Beutel, ohne Sack und Schuhe, habt ihr an irgend etwas Mangel leiden müssen?" Sie erwiderten: "Nein, an nichts."

Y á ellos dijo: Cuando os envié sin bolsa, y sin alforja, y sin zapatos, ¿os faltó algo? Y ellos dijeron: Nada.

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

He said to them, “When I sent you out without purse, bag, and sandals, did you lack anything?” They said, “Nothing.”

"Nun aber", fuhr er fort, "soll der, der einen Beutel hat, ihn an sich nehmen, desgleichen auch, wer einen Sack besitzt; wer aber das nicht hat, verkaufe seinen. Mantel und kaufe sich dafür ein Schwert.

Y les dijo: Pues ahora, el que tiene bolsa, tómela, y también la alforja, y el que no tiene, venda su capa y compre espada.

Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Then he said to them, “But now, whoever has a purse, let him take it, and likewise a bag. Whoever has none, let him sell his cloak, and buy a sword.

Ich sage euch: An mir muß das Schriftwort erfüllt werden: 'Er wird den Übeltätern zugerechnet.' Mit mir geht es zu Ende".

Porque os digo, que es necesario que se cumpla todavía en mí aquello que está escrito: Y con los malos fué contado: porque lo que está escrito de mí, cumplimiento tiene.

For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

For I tell you that this which is written must still be fulfilled in me: ‘He was counted with transgressors.’ For that which concerns me is being fulfilled.”

Da sagten sie: "Sieh, Herr, hier sind zwei Schwerter." "Genug hiervon", antwortete er ihnen.

Entonces ellos dijeron: Señor, he aquí dos espadas. Y él les dijo: Basta.

And they said, Lord, behold, here are two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

They said, “Lord, behold, here are two swords.” He said to them, “That is enough.”

Danach ging er hinaus und begab sich wie gewöhnlich an den Ölberg. Und seine Jünger folgten ihm.

Y saliendo, se fué, como solía, al monte de las Olivas; y sus discípulos también le siguieron.

And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

Als er dort ankam, sagte er zu ihnen: "Betet, damit ihr nicht in Versuchung fallet."

Y como llegó á aquel lugar, les dijo: Orad que no entréis en tentación.

And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

When he was at the place, he said to them, “Pray that you don’t enter into temptation.”

Alsdann ging er von ihnen etwa einen Steinwurf weit hinweg und kniete nieder und betete:

Y él se apartó de ellos como un tiro de piedra; y puesto de rodillas oró,

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone’s cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

He was withdrawn from them about a stone’s throw, and he knelt down and prayed,

"Vater, wenn du diesen Kelch an mir vorübergehen lassen wolltest. - Jedoch nicht mein Wille geschehe, sondern der deine."

Diciendo: Padre, si quieres, pasa este vaso de mí; empero no se haga mi voluntad, sino la tuya.

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”

Da erschien ihm ein Engel vom Himmel und stärkte ihn.

Y le apareció un ángel del cielo confortándole.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

An angel from heaven appeared to him, strengthening him.

Als er sodann innerlich mit sich rang, betete er noch inniger. Sein Schweiß glich Blutstropfen, die auf die Erde rieselten.

Y estando en agonía, oraba más intensamente: y fué su sudor como grandes gotas de sangre que caían hasta la tierra.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

Being in agony, he prayed more earnestly. His sweat became like great drops of blood falling down on the ground.

Dann stand er vom Gebet auf und ging zu seinen Jüngern und fand sie vor Traurigkeit schlafend.

Y como se levantó de la oración, y vino á sus discípulos, hallólos durmiendo de tristeza;

And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

When he rose up from his prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping because of grief,

Er sprach zu ihnen: "Wie, ihr schlaft? Steht auf und betet, damit ihr nicht in Versuchung fallt."

Y les dijo: ¿Por qué dormís? Levantaos, y orad que no entréis en tentación.

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

and said to them, “Why do you sleep? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Noch sprach er so, als schon ein Haufe kam, und einer von den Zwölfen, Judas, ging vor ihnen her. Er schritt auf Jesus zu, um ihn zu küssen.

Estando él aún hablando, he aquí una turba; y el que se llamaba Judas, uno de los doce, iba delante de ellos; y llegóse á Jesús para besarlo.

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

While he was still speaking, a crowd appeared. He who was called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He came near to Jesus to kiss him.

Und Jesus sprach zu ihm: "Judas, mit einem Kusse verrätst du den Menschensohn?"

Entonces Jesús le dijo: Judas, ¿con beso entregas al Hijo del hombre?

But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

But Jesus said to him, “Judas, do you betray the Son of Man with a kiss?”

Als die, die bei ihm waren, sahen, was da kommen werde, riefen sie: "Herr, sollen wir mit dem Schwerte dreinschlagen?"

Y viendo los que estaban con él lo que había de ser, le dijeron: Señor, ¿heriremos á cuchillo?

When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

When those who were around him saw what was about to happen, they said to him, “Lord, shall we strike with the sword?”

Und einer aus ihnen schlug nach einem Knecht des Hohenpriesters und hieb ihm das rechte Ohr ab.

Y uno de ellos hirió á un siervo del príncipe de los sacerdotes, y le quitó la oreja derecha.

And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

A certain one of them struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

Doch Jesus sprach: "Laßt ab! Nicht weiter!" Alsdann berührte er das Ohr und heilte es.

Entonces respondiendo Jesús, dijo: Dejad hasta aquí. Y tocando su oreja, le sanó.

And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

But Jesus answered, “Let me at least do this”—and he touched his ear and healed him.

Und Jesus sprach zu den Oberpriestern und zu den Hauptleuten der Tempelwache und zu den Ältesten, die an ihn herangetreten waren: "Wie gegen einen Räuber seid ihr ausgezogen mit Schwertern und mit Prügeln.

Y Jesús dijo á los que habían venido á él, los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los magistrados del templo, y los ancianos: ¿Como á ladrón habéis salido con espadas y con palos?

Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

Jesus said to the chief priests, captains of the temple, and elders, who had come against him, “Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs?

Tag für Tag war ich bei euch im Tempel, und dennoch habt ihr nicht Hand an mich gelegt. Doch dies ist eure Stunde und die Macht der Finsternis."

Habiendo estado con vosotros cada día en el templo, no extendisteis las manos contra mí; mas ésta es vuestra hora, y la potestad de las tinieblas.

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

When I was with you in the temple daily, you didn’t stretch out your hands against me. But this is your hour, and the power of darkness.”

Sie nahmen ihn gefangen und führten ihn hinweg und brachten ihn in das Haus des Hohenpriesters. Und Petrus folgte ihm von fern.

Y prendiéndole trajéronle, y metiéronle en casa del príncipe de los sacerdotes. Y Pedro le seguía de lejos.

Then took they him, and led him, and brought him into the high priest’s house. And Peter followed afar off.

They seized him and led him away, and brought him into the high priest’s house. But Peter followed from a distance.

Man hatte mitten in dem Hof ein Feuer angezündet und sich ringsum gesetzt. Auch Petrus setzte sich hinzu.

Y habiendo encendido fuego en medio de la sala, y sentándose todos alrededor, se sentó también Pedro entre ellos.

And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

When they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and had sat down together, Peter sat among them.

Da sah ihn, wie er im Lichtschein dasaß, eine Magd; sie blickte ihn scharf an und sprach: "Der da war auch bei ihm."

Y como una criada le vió que estaba sentado al fuego, fijóse en él, y dijo: Y éste con él estaba.

But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

A certain servant girl saw him as he sat in the light, and looking intently at him, said, “This man also was with him.”

Er leugnete und sprach: "Weib, ich kenne ihn nicht."

Entonces él lo negó, diciendo: Mujer, no le conozco.

And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

He denied Jesus, saying, “Woman, I don’t know him.”

Doch kurz darauf erblickte ihn jemand anders und sagte: "Auch du gehörst zu ihnen." Und Petrus sprach: "Nein, Mensch!"

Y un poco después, viéndole otro, dijo: Y tú de ellos eras. Y Pedro dijo: Hombre, no soy.

And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

After a little while someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them!” But Peter answered, “Man, I am not!”

Nach einer Stunde ungefähr versicherte ein anderer: "Wahrhaftig, der war auch bei ihm; er ist ein Galiläer."

Y como una hora pasada otro afirmaba, diciendo: Verdaderamente también éste estaba con él, porque es Galileo.

And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this fellow also was with him: for he is a Galilæan.

After about one hour passed, another confidently affirmed, saying, “Truly this man also was with him, for he is a Galilean!”

"Mensch, ich begreife nicht, was du sagst", sprach Petrus. Da, wie er noch am Reden war, krähte schon ein Hahn.

Y Pedro dijo: Hombre, no sé qué dices. Y luego, estando él aún hablando, el gallo cantó.

And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

But Peter said, “Man, I don’t know what you are talking about!” Immediately, while he was still speaking, a rooster crowed.

Jetzt wandte sich der Herr um und blickte Petrus an. Und nun erinnerte sich Petrus an das Wort des Herrn, wie er zu ihm gesagt hatte: "Noch vor dem Hahnenschrei wirst du mich heute dreimal verleugnet haben."

Entonces, vuelto el Señor, miró á Pedro: y Pedro se acordó de la palabra del Señor como le había dicho: Antes que el gallo cante, me negarás tres veces.

And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

Y cubriéndole, herían su rostro, y preguntábanle, diciendo: Profetiza quién es el que te hirió.

And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

Sie stießen wider ihn noch viele andere Lästerungen aus.

Y decían otras muchas cosas injuriándole.

And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

Als es Tag geworden war, versammelten sich die Ältesten des Volkes, die Oberpriester und die Schriftgelehrten; sie ließen ihn in ihren Sitzungssaal bringen

Y cuando fué de día, se juntaron los ancianos del pueblo, y los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas, y le trajeron á su concilio,

Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

“If you are the Christ, tell us.” But he said to them, “If I tell you, you won’t believe,

wenn ich euch fragen würde, so würdet ihr mir keine Antwort geben und mich nicht freilassen.

Y también si os preguntare, no me responderéis, ni me soltaréis:

And if I also ask you, ye will not answer me, nor let me go.

and if I ask, you will in no way answer me or let me go.

Von nun an aber wird der Menschensohn zur Rechten des allmächtigen Gottes sitzen."

Mas después de ahora el Hijo del hombre se asentará á la diestra de la potencia de Dios.

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Da fragten alle: "Also bist du der Sohn Gottes?" Er sprach zu ihnen: "Ihr sagt, daß ich es bin."

Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

They all said, “Are you then the Son of God?” He said to them, “You say it, because I am.”

Und sie erwiderten. "Wozu brauchen wir ein Zeugnis? Wir selbst haben es aus seinem eigenen Munde vernommen."

Entonces ellos dijeron: ¿Qué más testimonio deseamos? porque nosotros lo hemos oído de su boca.

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.

They said, “Why do we need any more witness? For we ourselves have heard from his own mouth!”
