And Jesus entered and passed through Jericho.
He entered and was passing through Jericho.
He aquí, había un hombre allí llamado Zaqueo. Él era un jefe recaudador de impuestos y era rico.
Y he aquí un varón llamado Zaqueo, el cual era el principal de los publicanos, y era rico;
And, behold, there was a man named Zacchæus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
There was a man named Zacchaeus. He was a chief tax collector, and he was rich.
Él estaba tratando de ver quién era Jesús, pero no podía ver por encima de la multitud, porque él era pequeño en estatura.
Y procuraba ver á Jesús quién fuese; mas no podía á causa de la multitud, porque era pequeño de estatura.
And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
He was trying to see who Jesus was, and couldn’t because of the crowd, because he was short.
Entonces él corrió adelantándose a la gente y se subió a un árbol de sicómoro para verlo a Él, porque Jesús estaba por pasar por allí.
Y corriendo delante, subióse á un árbol sicómoro para verle; porque había de pasar por allí.
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that way.
He ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree to see him, for he was going to pass that way.
Cuando Jesús llego al lugar, Él miro hacia arriba y Le dijo a él: "Zaqueo, baja rápidamente, porque hoy debo quedarme en tu casa."
Y como vino á aquel lugar Jesús, mirando, le vió, y díjole: Zaqueo, date priesa, desciende, porque hoy es necesario que pose en tu casa.
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and saw him, and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house.”
Así que él se apresuró y bajó y lo recibió alegremente.
Entonces él descendió apriesa, y le recibió gozoso.
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.

Cuando todos vieron esto, ellos se quejaron, diciendo: "Él ha ido a visitar a un hombre que es un pecador."

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
When they saw it, they all murmured, saying, “He has gone in to lodge with a man who is a sinner.”
Zaqueo se paró y le dijo al Señor: "Mira, Señor, la mitad de mis bienes lo doy a los pobres, y si en algo he engañado a alguien, yo le repondré cuatro veces la cantidad."
Entonces Zaqueo, puesto en pie, dijo al Señor: He aquí, Señor, la mitad de mis bienes doy á los pobres; y si en algo he defraudado á alguno, lo vuelvo con el cuatro tanto.
And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.
Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, “Behold, Lord, half of my goods I give to the poor. If I have wrongfully exacted anything of anyone, I restore four times as much.”
Jesús le dijo a él, hoy la salvación ha venido a esta casa, porque él también es hijo de Abraham.
Y Jesús le dijo: Hoy ha venido la salvación á esta casa; por cuanto él también es hijo de Abraham.
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
Jesus said to him, “Today, salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham.
Porque el Hijo del Hombre vino a buscar y a salvar la gente que se había perdido."
Porque el Hijo del hombre vino á buscar y á salvar lo que se había perdido.
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
For the Son of Man came to seek and to save that which was lost.”
Mientras ellos escuchaban estas cosas, El continuó hablando y contó una parábola, porque Él estaba cerca de Jerusalén, y ellos pensaban que inmediatamente Él reino de Dios iba aparecer.
Y oyendo ellos estas cosas, prosiguió Jesús y dijo una parábola, por cuanto estaba cerca de Jerusalem, y porque pensaban que luego había de ser manifestado el reino de Dios.
And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
As they heard these things, he went on and told a parable, because he was near Jerusalem, and they supposed that God’s Kingdom would be revealed immediately.
Él dijo por lo tanto: "Un cierto hombre noble fue a un país lejano a recibir por sí mismo un reino, para luego regresar.
Dijo pues: Un hombre noble partió á una provincia lejos, para tomar para sí un reino, y volver.
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.

Él llamó a diez de sus siervos, y les dio diez minas, y les dijo: 'Dirijan los negocios hasta que yo regrese.'

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
He called ten servants of his and gave them ten mina coins, and told them, ‘Conduct business until I come.’
Pero sus ciudadanos lo odiaban y enviaron una delegación de embajadores tras él, diciendo: 'No tendremos a este hombre gobernando sobre nosotros.'
Empero sus ciudadanos le aborrecían, y enviaron tras de él una embajada, diciendo: No queremos que éste reine sobre nosotros.
But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
But his citizens hated him, and sent an envoy after him, saying, ‘We don’t want this man to reign over us.’
Sucedió que al regresar, después de recibir el reino, él mando a sus siervos a quién les había entregado dinero a ser llamados a él, para que él supiera qué ganancia ellos habían hecho a través del negocio.
Y aconteció, que vuelto él, habiendo tomado el reino, mandó llamar á sí á aquellos siervos á los cuales había dado el dinero, para saber lo que había negociado cada uno.
And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
“When he had come back again, having received the kingdom, he commanded these servants, to whom he had given the money, to be called to him, that he might know what they had gained by conducting business.
El primero vino delante de él: diciendo: 'Señor, tu mina ha hecho diez minas más.'
Y vino el primero, diciendo: Señor, tu mina ha ganado diez minas.
Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
The first came before him, saying, ‘Lord, your mina has made ten more minas.’
El hombre noble le dijo: 'Bien hecho, buen siervo. Porque fuiste fiel en lo poco, tendrás autoridad sobre diez ciudades.'
Y él le dice: Está bien, buen siervo; pues que en lo poco has sido fiel, tendrás potestad sobre diez ciudades.
And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
“He said to him, ‘Well done, you good servant! Because you were found faithful with very little, you shall have authority over ten cities.’
El segundo vino, diciendo: 'Tu mina, señor, ha hecho cinco minas.'
Y vino otro, diciendo: Señor, tu mina ha hecho cinco minas.
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
“The second came, saying, ‘Your mina, Lord, has made five minas.’
El hombre noble le dijo: 'Tú toma autoridad sobre cinco ciudades.'
Y también á éste dijo: Tú también sé sobre cinco ciudades.
And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
“So he said to him, ‘And you are to be over five cities.’
Y otro vino, diciendo: 'Señor, aquí está tu mina, la cual he guardado segura en un paño,
Y vino otro, diciendo: Señor, he aquí tu mina, la cual he tenido guardada en un pañizuelo:
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, here is thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
Another came, saying, ‘Lord, behold, your mina, which I kept laid away in a handkerchief,
porque tuve miedo de ti, porque tú eres un hombre severo. Tú recoges lo que no depositaste, y cosechas lo que no sembraste.'
Porque tuve miedo de ti, que eres hombre recio; tomas lo que no pusiste, y siegas lo que no sembraste.
For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
for I feared you, because you are an exacting man. You take up that which you didn’t lay down, and reap that which you didn’t sow.’
El hombre noble le dijo: 'Por tus propias palabras te juzgaré, tú siervo malvado. Tú sabías que yo soy un hombre severo, que recojo lo que no deposité, y cosecho lo que no sembré.
Entonces él le dijo: Mal siervo, de tu boca te juzgo. Sabías que yo era hombre recio, que tomo lo que no puse, y que siego lo que no sembré;
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
“He said to him, ‘Out of your own mouth I will judge you, you wicked servant! You knew that I am an exacting man, taking up that which I didn’t lay down and reaping that which I didn’t sow.
Entonces ¿por qué no pusiste mi dinero en el banco, para que cuando yo regresara lo hubiera recogido con intereses?'
¿Por qué, pues, no diste mi dinero al banco, y yo viniendo lo demandara con el logro?
Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
Then why didn’t you deposit my money in the bank, and at my coming, I might have earned interest on it?’
El hombre noble les dijo a ellos los que estaban cerca: 'Quítenle la mina a él, y denla al que tiene diez minas.'
Y dijo á los que estaban presentes: Quitadle la mina, y dadla al que tiene las diez minas.
And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give it to him that hath ten pounds.
He said to those who stood by, ‘Take the mina away from him and give it to him who has the ten minas.’
Ellos le dijeron: 'Señor, él tiene diez minas.'
Y ellos le dijeron: Señor, tiene diez minas.
(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
“They said to him, ‘Lord, he has ten minas!’
'Yo les digo, que a cualquiera que tiene se le dará más, pero de aquel que no tiene, incluso lo que tiene se le quitará.
Pues yo os digo que á cualquiera que tuviere, le será dado; mas al que no tuviere, aun lo que tiene le será quitado.
For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
‘For I tell you that to everyone who has, will more be given; but from him who doesn’t have, even that which he has will be taken away from him.
Pero estos enemigos míos, aquellos que no querían que gobernara sobre ellos, tráiganlos aquí y mátenlos delante de mí.'"
Y también á aquellos mis enemigos que no querían que yo reinase sobre ellos, traedlos acá, y degolladlos delante de mí.
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
But bring those enemies of mine who didn’t want me to reign over them here, and kill them before me.’”
Cuando Él hubo dicho estas cosas, Él siguió adelante, subiendo a Jerusalén.
Y dicho esto, iba delante subiendo á Jerusalem.
And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
Having said these things, he went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem.
Ocurrió que cuando Él se acercó a Betfagé y Betania, en el monte llamado Olivos, Él envió dos de sus discípulos,
Y aconteció, que llegando cerca de Bethfagé, y de Bethania, al monte que se llama de las Olivas, envió dos de sus discípulos,
And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
When he came near to Bethsphage and Bethany, at the mountain that is called Olivet, he sent two of his disciples,
diciendo: "Vayan a la siguiente aldea. Cuando entren, encontrarán un potro que nunca ha sido montado. Desátenlo y tráiganmelo.
Diciendo: Id á la aldea de enfrente; en la cual como entrareis, hallaréis un pollino atado, en el que ningún hombre se ha sentado jamás; desatadlo, y traedlo.
Saying, Go ye into the village over against you; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring him hither.
saying, “Go your way into the village on the other side, in which, as you enter, you will find a colt tied, which no man has ever sat upon. Untie it and bring it.
Si alguien les pregunta: '¿por qué lo están desatando?' digan: 'El Señor lo necesita.'"
Y si alguien os preguntare, ¿por qué lo desatáis? le responderéis así: Porque el Señor lo ha menester.
And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
If anyone asks you, ‘Why are you untying it?’ say to him: ‘The Lord needs it.’”
Aquellos que fueron enviados, fueron y encontraron el potro como Jesús les había dicho.
Y fueron los que habían sido enviados, y hallaron como les dijo.
And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
Those who were sent went away and found things just as he had told them.
Mientras estaban desatando el potro, los dueños les dijeron: "¿Por qué están desatando el potro?"
Y desatando ellos el pollino, sus dueños les dijeron: ¿Por qué desatáis el pollino?
And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, “Why are you untying the colt?”
Ellos dijeron: "El Señor lo necesita."
Y ellos dijeron: Porque el Señor lo ha menester.
And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
They said, “The Lord needs it.”
Ellos lo trajeron a Jesús, y ellos tiraron sus mantos sobre el potro y montaron a Jesús sobre él.
Y trajéronlo á Jesús; y habiendo echado sus vestidos sobre el pollino, pusieron á Jesús encima.
And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
Then they brought it to Jesus. They threw their cloaks on the colt and sat Jesus on them.
Mientras él iba, ellos extendieron sus mantos en el camino.
Y yendo él tendían sus capas por el camino.
And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
As he went, they spread their cloaks on the road.
Mientras Él se acercaba al lugar donde el Monte de los Olivos desciende, toda la multitud de discípulos empezó a regocijarse y alabar a Dios con una voz fuerte por todas las obras poderosas que ellos habían visto,
Y como llegasen ya cerca de la bajada del monte de las Olivas, toda la multitud de los discípulos, gozándose, comenzaron á alabar á Dios á gran voz por todas las maravillas que habían visto,
And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
As he was now getting near, at the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
diciendo: "¡Bendito es el Rey que viene en el nombre del Señor! ¡Paz en el cielo y gloria en lo más alto!"
Diciendo: ¡Bendito el rey que viene en el nombre del Señor: paz en el cielo, y gloria en lo altísimo!
Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
saying, “Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!”
Algunos de los fariseos en la multitud le dijeron a Él: "Maestro, reprende tus discípulos."
Entonces algunos de los Fariseos de la compañía, le dijeron: Maestro, reprende á tus discípulos.
And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
Some of the Pharisees from the multitude said to him, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!”
Jesús respondió y dijo: "Yo les digo, si estos estuvieran callados, las piedras gritarían."
Y él respondiendo, les dijo: Os digo que si éstos callaren, las piedras clamarán.
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
He answered them, “I tell you that if these were silent, the stones would cry out.”
Cuando Jesús se acercó a la ciudad, El lloró sobre ella,
Y como llegó cerca, viendo la ciudad, lloró sobre ella,
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
When he came near, he saw the city and wept over it,
diciendo: "¡Si solamente tú hubieras sabido en este día, incluso tú, las cosas que te traen paz! Pero ahora ellas están escondidas de tus ojos.
Diciendo: ¡Oh si también tú conocieses, á lo menos en este tu día, lo que toca á tu paz! mas ahora está encubierto de tus ojos.
Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
saying, “If you, even you, had known today the things which belong to your peace! But now, they are hidden from your eyes.
Porque los días vendrán sobre ti, cuando tus enemigos construirán una barricada a tu alrededor, y te rodearán, y te presionarán de cada lado.
Porque vendrán días sobre ti, que tus enemigos te cercarán con baluarte, y te pondrán cerco, y de todas partes te pondrán en estrecho,
For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
For the days will come on you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, surround you, hem you in on every side,
Ellos te golpearán hasta el suelo y tus hijos contigo. Ellos no dejarán una piedra sobre otra, porque no reconociste cuando Dios estaba tratando de salvarte."
Y te derribarán á tierra, y á tus hijos dentro de ti; y no dejarán sobre ti piedra sobre piedra; por cuanto no conociste el tiempo de tu visitación.
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
and will dash you and your children within you to the ground. They will not leave in you one stone on another, because you didn’t know the time of your visitation.”
Jesús entró el templo y comenzó a expulsar aquellos que estaban vendiendo,
Y entrando en el templo, comenzó á echar fuera á todos los que vendían y compraban en él.
And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
He entered into the temple and began to drive out those who bought and sold in it,
diciéndole a ellos: "Escrito está, 'MI CASA SERÁ UNA CASA DE ORACIÓN,' pero ustedes la han hecho una cueva de ladrones."
Diciéndoles: Escrito está: Mi casa, casa de oración es; mas vosotros la habéis hecho cueva de ladrones.
Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
saying to them, “It is written, ‘My house is a house of prayer,’ but you have made it a ‘den of robbers’!”
Así Jesús estaba enseñando diariamente en el templo. Los principales sacerdotes y los escribas y los líderes de la gente querían matarlo,
Y enseñaba cada día en el templo; mas los príncipes de los sacerdotes, y los escribas, y los principales del pueblo procuraban matarle.
And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
He was teaching daily in the temple, but the chief priests, the scribes, and the leading men among the people sought to destroy him.
pero ellos no podían encontrar una manera para hacerlo, porque toda la gente lo estaba escuchando a Él atentamente.
Y no hallaban qué hacerle, porque todo el pueblo estaba suspenso oyéndole.
And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
They couldn’t find what they might do, for all the people hung on to every word that he said.
