Il partit donc et vint vers son père. Et comme il était encore loin, son père le vit et fut touché de compassion, et courant à lui, il se jeta à son cou et le baisa.

And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him.
