E principiarono tutti d'accordo a cullarsi. Il primo dissegli: Ho comprato un podere, e bisogna, che vada a vederlo: di grazia compatiscimi.

Y comenzaron todos á una á excusarse. El primero le dijo: He comprado una hacienda, y necesito salir y verla; te ruego que me des por excusado.

And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.
