En ce temps-là, quelques personnes qui se trouvaient là, racontèrent à Jésus ce qui était arrivé à des Galiléens, dont Pilate avait mêlé le sang avec celui de leurs sacrifices.

Ou pensez-vous que ces dix-huit sur qui la tour de Siloé est tombée, et qu'elle a tués, fussent plus coupables que tous les habitants de Jérusalem?
O aquellos dieciocho, sobre los cuales cayó la torre en Siloé, y los mató, ¿pensáis que ellos fueron más deudores que todos los hombres que habitan en Jerusalem?
Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them—do you think that they were worse offenders than all the men who dwell in Jerusalem?

Il dit aussi cette similitude: Un homme avait un figuier planté dans sa vigne, et il y vint chercher du fruit, et n'en trouva point.

He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.

Et il dit au vigneron: Voici, il y a déjà trois ans que je viens chercher du fruit à ce figuier, et je n'en trouve point: coupe-le, pourquoi occupe-t-il la terre inutilement?
Y dijo al viñero: He aquí tres años ha que vengo á buscar fruto en esta higuera, y no lo hallo; córtala, ¿por qué ocupará aún la tierra?
Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?
He said to the vine dresser, ‘Behold, these three years I have come looking for fruit on this fig tree, and found none. Cut it down! Why does it waste the soil?’
Le vigneron lui répondit: Seigneur, laisse-le encore cette année, jusqu'à ce que je l'aie déchaussé, et que j'y aie mis du fumier.
El entonces respondiendo, le dijo: Señor, déjala aún este año, hasta que la excave, y estercole.
And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it:
He answered, ‘Lord, leave it alone this year also, until I dig around it and fertilize it.
Peut-être portera-t-il du fruit, sinon, tu le couperas ci-après.

And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.

Jésus, la voyant, l'appela et lui dit: Femme, tu es délivrée de ta maladie.
Y como Jesús la vió, llamóla, y díjole: Mujer, libre eres de tu enfermedad.
And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity.

Y respondiendo el príncipe de la sinagoga, enojado de que Jesús hubiese curado en sábado, dijo á la compañía: Seis días hay en que es necesario obrar: en estos, pues, venid y sed curados, y no en día de sábado.
And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
The ruler of the synagogue, being indignant because Jesus had healed on the Sabbath, said to the multitude, “There are six days in which men ought to work. Therefore come on those days and be healed, and not on the Sabbath day!”
Mais le Seigneur lui répondit: Hypocrite, chacun de vous ne détache-t-il pas son bœuf ou son âne de la crèche, le jour du sabbat, et ne le mène-t-il pas à l'abreuvoir?
Entonces el Señor le respondió, y dijo: Hipócrita, cada uno de vosotros ¿no desata en sábado su buey ó su asno del pesebre, y lo lleva á beber?
The Lord then answered him, and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering?
Therefore the Lord answered him, “You hypocrites! Doesn’t each one of you free his ox or his donkey from the stall on the Sabbath and lead him away to water?
Et ne fallait-il point, en un jour de sabbat, détacher de cette chaîne cette fille d'Abraham, que Satan tenait liée depuis dix-huit ans?
Y á esta hija de Abraham, que he aquí Satanás la había ligado dieciocho años, ¿no convino desatarla de esta ligadura en día de sábado?
And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
Ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham whom Satan had bound eighteen long years, be freed from this bondage on the Sabbath day?”
Comme il parlait ainsi, tous ses adversaires étaient confus, et tout le peuple se réjouissait de toutes les choses glorieuses qu'il faisait.
Y diciendo estas cosas, se avergonzaban todos sus adversarios: mas todo el pueblo se gozaba de todas las cosas gloriosas que eran por él hechas.
And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.

Alors il dit: A quoi est semblable le royaume de Dieu, et à quoi le comparerai-je?

Semejante es al grano de la mostaza, que tomándolo un hombre lo metió en su huerto; y creció, y fué hecho árbol grande, y las aves del cielo hicieron nidos en sus ramas.
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it.

Il dit encore: A quoi comparerai-je le royaume de Dieu?
Y otra vez dijo: ¿A qué compararé el reino de Dios?
And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God?
Again he said, “To what shall I compare God’s Kingdom?
Il est semblable au levain qu'une femme prend, et qu'elle met dans trois mesures de farine, jusqu'à ce que la pâte soit toute levée.
Semejante es á la levadura, que tomó una mujer, y la escondió en tres medidas de harina, hasta que todo hubo fermentado.
It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
It is like yeast, which a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, until it was all leavened.”
Et Jésus allait par les villes et par les bourgs, enseignant et tenant le chemin de Jérusalem.
Y pasaba por todas las ciudades y aldeas, enseñando, y caminando á Jerusalem.
And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.

Et quelqu'un lui dit: Seigneur, n'y a-t-il que peu de gens qui soient sauvés?

Et il leur dit: Efforcez-vous d'entrer par la porte étroite; car je vous dis que plusieurs chercheront à y entrer, et qu'ils ne le pourront.
Porfiad á entrar por la puerta angosta; porque os digo que muchos procurarán entrar, y no podrán.
Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

Quand le père de famille sera entré, et qu'il aura fermé la porte, et que, vous étant dehors, vous vous mettrez à heurter et à dire: Seigneur, Seigneur, ouvre-nous; il vous répondra: Je ne sais d'où vous êtes.
Después que el padre de familia se levantare, y cerrare la puerta, y comenzareis á estar fuera, y llamar á la puerta, diciendo: Señor, Señor, ábrenos; y respondiendo os dirá: No os conozco de dónde seáis.
When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are:
When once the master of the house has risen up and has shut the door, and you begin to stand outside and to knock at the door, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ then he will answer and tell you, ‘I don’t know you or where you come from.’
Alors vous direz: Nous avons mangé et bu en ta présence, et tu as enseigné dans nos places publiques.
Entonces comenzaréis á decir: Delante de ti hemos comido y bebido, y en nuestras plazas enseñaste;
Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets.
Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in your presence, and you taught in our streets.’
Et il répondra: Je vous dis que je ne sais d'où vous êtes; retirez-vous de moi, vous tous qui faites métier de l'iniquité.
Y os dirá: Dígoos que no os conozco de dónde seáis; apartaos de mí todos los obreros de iniquidad.
But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
He will say, ‘I tell you, I don’t know where you come from. Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.’
Là seront les pleurs et les grincements de dents, quand vous verrez Abraham, Isaac, et Jacob et tous les prophètes dans le royaume de Dieu, et que vous serez jetés dehors.
Allí será el llanto y el crujir de dientes, cuando viereis á Abraham, y á Isaac, y á Jacob, y á todos los profetas en el reino de Dios, y vosotros excluídos.
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth when you see Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and all the prophets in God’s Kingdom, and yourselves being thrown outside.
Et il en viendra d'orient et d'occident, du septentrion et du midi, qui seront à table dans le royaume de Dieu.
Y vendrán del Oriente y del Occidente, del Norte y del Mediodía, y se sentarán á la mesa en el reino de Dios.
And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.

Ce même jour, quelques pharisiens vinrent lui dire: Retire-toi d'ici, et t'en va; car Hérode veut te faire mourir.
Aquel mismo día llegaron unos de los Fariseos, diciéndole: Sal, y vete de aquí, porque Herodes te quiere matar.
The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
On that same day, some Pharisees came, saying to him, “Get out of here and go away, for Herod wants to kill you.”
Et il leur dit: Allez et dites à ce renard: Voici, je chasse les démons et j'achève de faire des guérisons, aujourd'hui et demain, et le troisième jour je finis.
Y les dijo: Id, y decid á aquella zorra: He aquí, echo fuera demonios y acabo sanidades hoy y mañana, y al tercer día soy consumado.
And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected.
He said to them, “Go and tell that fox, ‘Behold, I cast out demons and perform cures today and tomorrow, and the third day I complete my mission.
Cependant, il me faut marcher aujourd'hui, demain et le jour suivant, parce qu'il n'arrive point qu'un prophète meure hors de Jérusalem.
Empero es menester que hoy, y mañana, y pasado mañana camine; porque no es posible que profeta muera fuera de Jerusalem.
Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
Nevertheless I must go on my way today and tomorrow and the next day, for it can’t be that a prophet would perish outside of Jerusalem.’
Jérusalem, Jérusalem, qui tues les prophètes, et qui lapides ceux qui te sont envoyés, combien de fois j'ai voulu rassembler tes enfants, comme la poule rassemble sa couvée sous ses ailes, et vous ne l'avez pas voulu!
¡Jerusalem, Jerusalem! que matas á los profetas, y apedreas á los que son enviados á ti: ¡cuántas veces quise juntar tus hijos, como la gallina sus pollos debajo de sus alas, y no quisiste!
O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not!
“Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, like a hen gathers her own brood under her wings, and you refused!
Voici, votre habitation va vous rester déserte, et je vous dis en vérité, que vous ne me verrez plus jusqu'à ce que vous disiez: Béni soit celui qui vient au nom du Seigneur.
