Dijo Yahvé a Moisés: “Habla a los sacerdotes, hijos de Aarón, y diles: Nadie se haga impuro si muere uno de su pueblo,
Y JEHOVÁ dijo á Moisés: Habla á los sacerdotes hijos de Aarón, y diles que no se contaminen por un muerto en sus pueblos.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto the priests the sons of Aaron, and say unto them, There shall none be defiled for the dead among his people:
The LORD said to Moses, “Speak to the priests, the sons of Aaron, and say to them, ‘A priest shall not defile himself for the dead among his people,
a no ser un consanguíneo cercano suyo, como su madre, su padre, su hijo, su hija, su hermano,
Mas por su pariente cercano á sí, por su madre, ó por su padre, ó por su hijo, ó por su hermano,
But for his kin, that is near unto him, that is, for his mother, and for his father, and for his son, and for his daughter, and for his brother,
except for his relatives that are near to him: for his mother, for his father, for his son, for his daughter, for his brother,
o una hermana suya, virgen, que viva con él y no haya sido desposada aún. Por esa puede contaminarse.
O por su hermana virgen, á él cercana, la cual no haya tenido marido, por ella se contaminará.
And for his sister a virgin, that is nigh unto him, which hath had no husband; for her may he be defiled.
and for his virgin sister who is near to him, who has had no husband; for her he may defile himself.
Pues siendo él un jefe en medio de su pueblo no debe contaminarse, haciéndose profano.
No se contaminará, porque es príncipe en sus pueblos, haciéndose inmundo.

(Los sacerdotes) no se raparán la cabeza, ni se cortarán los bordes de su barba, ni se harán sajaduras en su carne.
No harán calva en su cabeza, ni raerán la punta de su barba, ni en su carne harán rasguños.
They shall not make baldness upon their head, neither shall they shave off the corner of their beard, nor make any cuttings in their flesh.
“‘They shall not shave their heads or shave off the corners of their beards or make any cuttings in their flesh.
Santos han de ser para su Dios y no profanarán el nombre de su Dios; pues son ellos los que presentan los sacrificios que se queman en honor de Yahvé, el pan de su Dios; han de ser santos.
Santos serán á su Dios, y no profanarán el nombre de su Dios; porque los fuegos de Jehová y el pan de su Dios ofrecen: por tanto serán santos.
They shall be holy unto their God, and not profane the name of their God: for the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and the bread of their God, they do offer: therefore they shall be holy.

No tomarán mujer prostituta ni deshonrada, ni tampoco tomarán mujer repudiada de su marido; porque (el sacerdote) está consagrado a su Dios.

They shall not take a wife that is a whore, or profane; neither shall they take a woman put away from her husband: for he is holy unto his God.

Lo tendrás por santo, porque él es quien presenta el pan de tu Dios; por tanto será santo para ti; pues santo soy Yo, Yahvé, que os santifico.
Lo santificarás por tanto, pues el pan de tu Dios ofrece: santo será para ti, porque santo soy yo Jehová vuestro santificador.
Thou shalt sanctify him therefore; for he offereth the bread of thy God: he shall be holy unto thee: for I the LORD, which sanctify you, am holy.

Si la hija de un sacerdote se deshonra, prostituyéndose, a su padre deshonra; será entregada al fuego.
Y la hija del varón sacerdote, si comenzare á fornicar, á su padre amancilla: quemada será al fuego.
And the daughter of any priest, if she profane herself by playing the whore, she profaneth her father: she shall be burnt with fire.

El Sumo Sacerdote entre sus hermanos, sobre cuya cabeza fue derramado el óleo de la unción y que ha sido consagrado para vestir las vestiduras, no desgreñará sus cabellos ni rasgará sus vestidos.
Y el sumo sacerdote entre sus hermanos, sobre cuya cabeza fué derramado el aceite de la unción, y que hinchió su mano para vestir las vestimentas, no descubrirá su cabeza, ni romperá sus vestidos:
And he that is the high priest among his brethren, upon whose head the anointing oil was poured, and that is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not uncover his head, nor rend his clothes;
“‘He who is the high priest among his brothers, upon whose head the anointing oil is poured, and who is consecrated to put on the garments, shall not let the hair of his head hang loose, or tear his clothes.
Tampoco se acercará a ningún muerto; ni siquiera por su padre o por su madre ha de contaminarse.
Ni entrará donde haya alguna persona muerta, ni por su padre, ó por su madre se contaminará.
Neither shall he go in to any dead body, nor defile himself for his father, or for his mother;

Tomará por esposa una virgen.

No se casará con viuda, ni repudiada, ni deshonrada, ni prostituida, sino que tomará por esposa una virgen de entre su pueblo.
Viuda, ó repudiada, ó infame, ó ramera, éstas no tomará: mas tomará virgen de sus pueblos por mujer.
A widow, or a divorced woman, or profane, or an harlot, these shall he not take: but he shall take a virgin of his own people to wife.
He shall not marry a widow, or one divorced, or a woman who has been defiled, or a prostitute. He shall take a virgin of his own people as a wife.
Así no deshonrará su descendencia en medio de su pueblo, pues soy Yo Yahvé quien le santifico.”
Y no amancillará su simiente en sus pueblos; porque yo Jehová soy el que los santifico.
Neither shall he profane his seed among his people: for I the LORD do sanctify him.

Y habló Yahvé a Moisés y dijo:

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
“Habla a Aarón y dile: Ninguno de tu descendencia, durante (todas) sus generaciones, que tenga un defecto corporal, se acercará a presentar el pan de su Dios;
Habla á Aarón, y dile: El varón de tu simiente en sus generaciones, en el cual hubiere falta, no se allegará para ofrecer el pan de su Dios.
Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his God.
“Say to Aaron, ‘None of your offspring throughout their generations who has a defect may approach to offer the bread of his God.
porque ningún hombre que tenga defecto corporal, ha de acercarse; ni ciego, ni cojo, ni mutilado, ni desproporcionado,
Porque ningún varón en el cual hubiere falta, se allegará: varón ciego, ó cojo, ó falto, ó sobrado,
For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous,
For whatever man he is that has a defect, he shall not draw near: a blind man, or a lame, or he who has a flat nose, or any deformity,
ni hombre que tenga quebrado el pie o la mano;
O varón en el cual hubiere quebradura de pie ó rotura de mano,
Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded,
or a man who has an injured foot, or an injured hand,
ni jorobado, ni débil, ni enfermo de los ojos, ni sarnoso, ni tiñoso, ni eunuco.
O corcovado, ó lagañoso, ó que tuviere nube en el ojo, ó que tenga sarna, ó empeine, ó compañón relajado;
Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken;
or hunchbacked, or a dwarf, or one who has a defect in his eye, or an itching disease, or scabs, or who has damaged testicles.
Ninguno de la estirpe de Aarón que tenga un defecto corporal puede acercarse para ofrecer los sacrificios que se queman en honor de Yahvé. Tiene un defecto corporal, y por eso no puede acercarse para ofrecer el pan de su Dios.
Ningún varón de la simiente de Aarón sacerdote, en el cual hubiere falta, se allegará para ofrecer las ofrendas encendidas de Jehová. Hay falta en él; no se allegará á ofrecer el pan de su Dios.
No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his God.
No man of the offspring of Aaron the priest who has a defect shall come near to offer the offerings of the LORD made by fire. Since he has a defect, he shall not come near to offer the bread of his God.
Sin embargo podrá comer del pan de su Dios, de las cosas santísimas y de las santas,
El pan de su Dios, de lo muy santo y las cosas santificadas, comerá.
He shall eat the bread of his God, both of the most holy, and of the holy.

mas no penetrará hasta el velo ni se llegará al altar, porque tiene defecto, no sea que profane mis cosas santas; pues Yo soy Yahvé, que los santifico.”
Empero no entrará del velo adentro, ni se allegará al altar, por cuanto hay falta en él: y no profanará mi santuario, porque yo Jehová soy el que los santifico.
Only he shall not go in unto the vail, nor come nigh unto the altar, because he hath a blemish; that he profane not my sanctuaries: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
He shall not come near to the veil, nor come near to the altar, because he has a defect; that he may not profane my sanctuaries, for I am the LORD who sanctifies them.’”
Moisés dijo esto a Aarón y a sus hijos, y a todos los hijos de Israel.
Y Moisés habló esto á Aarón, y á sus hijos, y á todos los hijos de Israel.
