17Hierauf soll er dem Vogel die Flügel einreißen, jedoch ohne sie ganz abzutrennen, und der Priester soll ihn auf dem Altar, auf dem Holz, das über dem Feuer liegt, in Rauch aufgehen lassen: so ist es ein Brandopfer, ein Feueropfer zu lieblichem Geruch für den HERRN.«

17Y la henderá por sus alas, mas no la dividirá en dos: y el sacerdote la hará arder sobre el altar, sobre la leña que estará en el fuego; holocausto es, ofrenda encendida de olor suave á Jehová.

17And he shall cleave it with the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder: and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt sacrifice, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
