1Und Jehovah redete zu Mose und sprach:
2Rede zu Aharon und zu seinen Söhnen und zu allen Söhnen Israels und sprich zu ihnen: Dies ist das Wort, das Jehovah geboten hat und gesagt:
3Jeder Mann vom Haus Israel, der einen Ochsen oder ein Schaf oder eine Ziege im Lager schlachtet, oder der sie außerhalb des Lagers schlachtet,
4Und es nicht zum Eingang des Versammlungszeltes bringt, um es Jehovah vor der Wohnung Jehovahs als Opfergabe darzubringen, dem Manne wird es als Blutschuld gedacht; er hat Blut vergossen; und selbiger Mann soll aus der Mitte seines Volkes ausgerottet werden;
5Auf daß die Söhne Israels ihre Opfer, die sie auf dem Angesichte des Feldes opfern, herbeibringen dem Jehovah, zum Eingang des Versammlungszeltes zu dem Priester bringen, und sie Jehovah als Dankopfer opfern.
6Und der Priester sprenge das Blut auf Jehovahs Altar am Eingang des Versammlungszeltes und zünde das Fett an zum Geruch der Ruhe für Jehovah.
7Und sie sollen nicht ferner ihre Opfer opfern den Dämonen, denen sie nachbuhlen. Dies sei ihnen eine ewige Satzung für ihre Geschlechter.
8Und sage ihnen: Welcher Mann aus dem Hause Israels und von den Fremdlingen, die in eurer Mitte sich aufhalten, ein Brandopfer oder Schlachtopfer aufgehen läßt,
9Und es nicht zum Eingang des Versammlungszeltes bringt, um es allda dem Jehovah zu opfern, der Mann werde aus seinem Volke ausgerottet.
10Und welcher Mann vom Hause Israels und von den Fremdlingen, die in eurer Mitte sich aufhalten, irgend Blut ißt, wider die Seele, die Blut ißt, werde Ich Mein Angesicht richten, und sie ausrotten aus der Mitte ihres Volkes;
11Denn die Seele des Fleisches ist in dem Blute, und darum habe Ich sie euch auf den Altar gegeben, um über eure Seelen zu sühnen, weil das Blut es ist, das für die Seele sühnt.
12Deshalb sprach Ich zu den Söhnen Israels: Keine Seele unter euch soll Blut essen; und der Fremdling, der in eurer Mitte sich aufhält, soll kein Blut essen.
13Und welcher Mann von den Söhnen Israels und von den Fremdlingen, die in eurer Mitte sich aufhalten, ein lebendiges Tier erjagt, oder einen Vogel, der gegessen wird, der gieße sein Blut aus und decke es mit Staub zu.
14Denn die Seele alles Fleisches ist sein Blut; es ist für seine Seele. Und Ich sage den Söhnen Israels: Das Blut alles Fleisches sollt ihr nicht essen; denn die Seele alles Fleisches ist sein Blut. Jeder, der es ißt, soll ausgerottet werden.
15Und jede Seele, Eingeborener oder Fremdling, der ein Aas oder Zerfleischtes ißt, soll seine Kleider waschen und sich im Wasser baden, und unrein sein bis zum Abend. Dann ist er rein.
16Und wäscht er sie nicht und badet sein Fleisch nicht, so trage er seine Missetat.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
2Habla á Aarón y á sus hijos, y á todos los hijos de Israel, y diles: Esto es lo que ha mandado Jehová, diciendo:
3Cualquier varón de la casa de Israel que degollare buey, ó cordero, ó cabra, en el real, ó fuera del real,
4Y no lo trajere á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, para ofrecer ofrenda á Jehová delante del tabernáculo de Jehová, sangre será imputada al tal varón: sangre derramó; cortado será el tal varón de entre su pueblo:
5A fin de que traigan los hijos de Israel sus sacrificios, los que sacrifican sobre la haz del campo, para que los traigan á Jehová á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio al sacerdote, y sacrifiquen ellos sacrificios de paces á Jehová.
6Y el sacerdote esparcirá la sangre sobre el altar de Jehová, á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y quemará el sebo en olor de suavidad á Jehová.
7Y nunca más sacrificarán sus sacrificios á los demonios, tras de los cuales han fornicado: tendrán esto por estatuto perpetuo por sus edades.
8Les dirás también: Cualquier varón de la casa de Israel, ó de los extranjeros que peregrinan entre vosotros, que ofreciere holocausto ó sacrificio,
9Y no lo trajere á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, para hacerlo á Jehová, el tal varón será igualmente cortado de sus pueblos.
10Y cualquier varón de la casa de Israel, ó de los extranjeros que peregrinan entre ellos, que comiere alguna sangre, yo pondré mi rostro contra la persona que comiere sangre, y le cortaré de entre su pueblo.
11Porque la vida de la carne en la sangre está: y yo os la he dado para expiar vuestras personas sobre el altar: por lo cual la misma sangre expiará la persona.
12Por tanto, he dicho á los hijos de Israel: Ninguna persona de vosotros comerá sangre, ni el extranjero que peregrina entre vosotros comerá sangre.
13Y cualquier varón de los hijos de Israel, ó de los extranjeros que peregrinan entre ellos, que cogiere caza de animal ó de ave que sea de comer, derramará su sangre y cubrirála con tierra:
14Porque el alma de toda carne, su vida, está en su sangre: por tanto he dicho á los hijos de Israel: No comeréis la sangre de ninguna carne, porque la vida de toda carne es su sangre: cualquiera que la comiere será cortado.
15Y cualquiera persona que comiere cosa mortecina, ó despedazada por fiera, así de los naturales como de los extranjeros, lavará sus vestidos y á sí mismo se lavará con agua, y será inmundo hasta la tarde; y se limpiará.
16Y si no los lavare, ni lavare su carne, llevará su iniquidad.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded, saying,
3What man soever there be of the house of Israel, that killeth an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that killeth it out of the camp,
4And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
5To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
6And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
7And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
8And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offereth a burnt offering or sacrifice,
9And bringeth it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
10And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eateth any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eateth blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.
12Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourneth among you eat blood.
13And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
14For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
15And every soul that eateth that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
16But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
World English Bible
1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is the thing which the LORD has commanded:
3Whatever man there is of the house of Israel who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,
4and hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting to offer it as an offering to the LORD before the LORD’s tabernacle: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood. That man shall be cut off from among his people.
5This is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to the LORD, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to the LORD.
6The priest shall sprinkle the blood on the LORD’s altar at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to the LORD.
7They shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’
8“You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
9and doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting to sacrifice it to the LORD, that man shall be cut off from his people.
10“‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
11For the life of the flesh is in the blood. I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls; for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.
12Therefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you may eat blood, nor may any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”
13“‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.
14For as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”
15“‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening. Then he shall be clean.
16But if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’”
