Sage zu den Israeliten: Wenn ein Weib Mutter wird und einen Knaben gebiert, so bleibt sie sieben Tage lang unrein; wie in den Tagen ihrer Unreinheit infolge des Monatsflusses wird sie unrein.
Habla á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: La mujer cuando concibiere y pariere varón, será inmunda siete días; conforme á los días que está separada por su menstruo, será inmunda.
Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.

Wenn dann die Tage ihrer Reinigung um sind, handle es sich nun um einen Knaben oder ein Mädchen, so soll sie dem Priester ein einjähriges Lamm zum Brandopfer und eine junge gewöhnliche Taube oder eine Turteltaube zum Sündopfer an den Eingang des heiligen Zeltes bringen.
Y cuando los días de su purgación fueren cumplidos, por hijo ó por hija, traerá un cordero de un año para holocausto, y un palomino ó una tórtola para expiación, á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, al sacerdote:
And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
“‘When the days of her purification are completed for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove, for a sin offering.
Der soll das Opfer vor dem Herrn darbringen und ihr so Sühne schaffen; dann wird sie rein von ihrem Blutfluss. Das ist das Gesetz über die Wöchnerin, sei es, dass sie einen Knaben oder ein Mädchen geboren hat.
