1Et l'Éternel parla à Moïse en ces termes :
2Parle et dis aux enfants d'Israël : Si une femme devient enceinte et qu'elle accouche d'un enfant mâle, elle sera pendant sept jours en état d'impureté, dans le même état d'impureté qu'aux époques de son indisposition menstruelle.
3Et le huitième jour on circoncira la chair du prépuce de l'enfant.
4Et elle gardera la maison trente-trois jours pendant qu'elle se purifie de sang ; elle ne touchera rien de sacré et n'ira point au Sanctuaire avant que le temps de sa purification soit accompli.
5Et si c'est d'une fille qu'elle accouche, elle sera deux semaines en état d'impureté comme lors de ses menstrues, et elle gardera la maison soixante-six jours pour se purifier de sang.
6Et à l'expiration du temps de sa purification pour un fils ou pour une fille, elle apportera un agneau d'un an comme holocauste, et un jeune pigeon ou une tourterelle, comme victime expiatoire, à l'entrée de la Tente du Rendez-vous au Prêtre qui l'offrira à l'Éternel et fera pour elle la propitiation afin qu'elle soit purifiée de l'évacuation de son sang.
7Telle est la loi pour la femme accouchée d'un fils ou d'une fille.
8Et si ses ressources ne vont pas jusqu'à un mouton, qu'elle prenne deux tourterelles ou deux jeunes pigeons, l'un pour l'holocauste, l'autre pour le sacrifice expiatoire, et le Prêtre fera pour elle la propitiation afin qu'elle soit purifiée.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
2Habla á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: La mujer cuando concibiere y pariere varón, será inmunda siete días; conforme á los días que está separada por su menstruo, será inmunda.
3Y al octavo día circuncidará la carne de su prepucio.
4Mas ella permanecerá treinta y tres días en la sangre de su purgación: ninguna cosa santa tocará, ni vendrá al santuario, hasta que sean cumplidos los días de su purgación.
5Y si pariere hembra será inmunda dos semanas, conforme á su separación, y sesenta y seis días estará purificándose de su sangre.
6Y cuando los días de su purgación fueren cumplidos, por hijo ó por hija, traerá un cordero de un año para holocausto, y un palomino ó una tórtola para expiación, á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, al sacerdote:
7Y él ofrecerá delante de Jehová, y hará expiación por ella, y será limpia del flujo de su sangre. Esta es la ley de la que pariere varón ó hembra.
8Y si no alcanzare su mano lo suficiente para un cordero, tomará entonces dos tórtolas ó dos palominos, uno para holocausto, y otro para expiación: y el sacerdote hará expiación por ella, y será limpia.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
3And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
5But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
6And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
7Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
8And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.

1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.
3In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.
5But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the blood of purification sixty-six days.
6“‘When the days of her purification are completed for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove, for a sin offering.
7He shall offer it before the LORD, and make atonement for her; then she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. “‘This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female.
8If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons: the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’”
