1Darauf gebot der HERR dem Mose folgendes:
2»Teile den Israeliten folgende Verordnungen mit: Wenn ein Weib Mutter wird und einen Knaben gebiert, so ist sie sieben Tage lang unrein! Ebenso lange wie in den Tagen ihrer Unreinheit infolge ihres regelmäßigen Unwohlseins ist sie unrein.
3Am achten Tage soll dann das Kind an seiner Vorhaut beschnitten werden.
4Alsdann muß sie noch dreiunddreißig Tage während der Zeit ihrer Blutreinigung (zu Hause) bleiben: sie darf nichts Heiliges berühren und nicht ins Heiligtum kommen, bis die Tage ihrer Reinigung abgelaufen sind.
5Gebiert sie aber ein Mädchen, so ist sie zwei Wochen lang unrein, wie bei ihrer regelmäßigen Unreinheit, und muß dann noch sechsundsechzig Tage während der Zeit ihrer Blutreinigung (zu Hause) bleiben.
6Sobald dann die Tage ihrer Reinigung abgelaufen sind, so soll sie, mag das Kind ein Knabe oder ein Mädchen sein, ein einjähriges Lamm zum Brandopfer und eine junge Taube oder eine Turteltaube zum Sündopfer an den Eingang des Offenbarungszeltes zu dem Priester bringen.
7Dieser soll dann die Opfertiere vor dem HERRN darbringen und ihr dadurch Sühne erwirken, dann wird sie von ihrem Blutfluß rein sein. Diese Vorschriften gelten für die Wöchnerinnen, mag das Kind ein Knabe oder ein Mädchen sein.
8Sollte ihr Vermögen aber zur Beschaffung eines Lammes nicht ausreichen, so soll sie zwei Turteltauben oder zwei junge Tauben nehmen, die eine zum Brandopfer, die andere zum Sündopfer. Wenn der Priester ihr dann Sühne erwirkt hat, wird sie rein sein.«

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
2Habla á los hijos de Israel, diciendo: La mujer cuando concibiere y pariere varón, será inmunda siete días; conforme á los días que está separada por su menstruo, será inmunda.
3Y al octavo día circuncidará la carne de su prepucio.
4Mas ella permanecerá treinta y tres días en la sangre de su purgación: ninguna cosa santa tocará, ni vendrá al santuario, hasta que sean cumplidos los días de su purgación.
5Y si pariere hembra será inmunda dos semanas, conforme á su separación, y sesenta y seis días estará purificándose de su sangre.
6Y cuando los días de su purgación fueren cumplidos, por hijo ó por hija, traerá un cordero de un año para holocausto, y un palomino ó una tórtola para expiación, á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, al sacerdote:
7Y él ofrecerá delante de Jehová, y hará expiación por ella, y será limpia del flujo de su sangre. Esta es la ley de la que pariere varón ó hembra.
8Y si no alcanzare su mano lo suficiente para un cordero, tomará entonces dos tórtolas ó dos palominos, uno para holocausto, y otro para expiación: y el sacerdote hará expiación por ella, y será limpia.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a man child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
3And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
5But if she bear a maid child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
6And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
7Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that hath born a male or a female.
8And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.

1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘If a woman conceives, and bears a male child, then she shall be unclean seven days; as in the days of her monthly period she shall be unclean.
3In the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
4She shall continue in the blood of purification thirty-three days. She shall not touch any holy thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying are completed.
5But if she bears a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her period; and she shall continue in the blood of purification sixty-six days.
6“‘When the days of her purification are completed for a son or for a daughter, she shall bring to the priest at the door of the Tent of Meeting, a year old lamb for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon or a turtledove, for a sin offering.
7He shall offer it before the LORD, and make atonement for her; then she shall be cleansed from the fountain of her blood. “‘This is the law for her who bears, whether a male or a female.
8If she cannot afford a lamb, then she shall take two turtledoves or two young pigeons: the one for a burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering. The priest shall make atonement for her, and she shall be clean.’”
